Hey Joe, let me just say I love both the Raptor and the TRX. Both trucks are great. However I want to say I like the Raptor just a little bit more than the TRX. My issue with the TRX is it’s always in 4WD. At least with the Raptor you can use 4WD when you need or want it. I don’t mind the 6 cylinder but the one you reviewed it needs a bed liner and a panoramic sunroof. But over a very nice truck.
This is a 🔥🔥🔥🔥Truck!!! Gotta love the Raptor!! Can’t wait for the Raptor R!! That’s gonna be worth the Hype with that supercharged 700HP engine from the Shelby GT500!!!
After viewing a 3rd Gen Raptor racing on sand and dunes against a TRX. I was amazed seeing these two beasts perform in the sand. I was somewhat surprised, but the Raptor was Faster plus amazed watching the Raptor going over jumps. The Raptor landed flat and smooth using the Fox shocks while the TRX landed with thuds and a planted nose in the sand because of the heavy weight of it's Hemi. It was obvious the Raptor has better suspension for off roading and Baja runs. Considering the Raptor is down on horsepower compared to the TRX. On the dunes. The Raptor was two truck lengths ahead and pulling. Your Raptor tester is a beautiful truck creating an amazing overall specialty truck. I'm amazed how many Raptors I see around town. Great Review on a fantastic truck. I can only imagine how the Raptor R will perform "On throttle".

Just bought a 1 owner owned 2016 Ford Escape Titanium ECO BOOST 4WD and i am in looveee with that Turbocharged engine. The boost comes in at the right time all the time and im telling you the 4WD is stable. I had no idea Eco Boost was that premium in power delivering.
J ~ the fascia is wicked, sweet updates. dude you where talking about the tires & you said "meaty" at the exact second I was thinking - "check out those meaty tires." that's wild. I like it as a clean no decals crap look - the RAM can s*ck it. FORD is good at tweaking smaller engines with tech. & always making improving strides. my neighbors would love that exhaust screaming hahaha. the RAM will be in the shop while the FORD is trucking non stop. the interior has everything a guy wants. another sunny day in St. Pete hahaha. okay - you sold me, what a great report, tony
I'm in market, but waiting for the used car market to...."settle" so it's one of 2 trucks for me, Ecoboost raptor or wait until gm does the zr2 package on the 2500/3500 Duramax diesels or gasser
Another great review, Joe, thank you! The Raptor you reviewed is very clean looking, I definitely like it without the graphics. I've always thought a good design isn't improved by adding decals or other fluff, if it's good, it stands alone.
Me personally, I feel like it’s a tuff decision to make between the Raptor and the TRX. Both outstanding performance trucks but I think I’m leaning towards the TRX a little more

I don't know, Joe. The exhaust sounds a little better than the previous generation but on video, at least, it's just NOT a V8. However, overall, the truck is beautiful.
It’s a small thing I know but why are the front marker/hazards (turn signals?) still incandescent bulbs when it looks like every single other light is LED?
This truck has the best shocks hands down wish I could get this one, the once in our(🇰🇪) country are not the real truck they are just an imitation of the true raptor. The deference between this truck and the once in our(🇰🇪) country is like the distance from 🇰🇪 Kenya to where you are(🇱🇷) taking this video😂😂😂😂😂😂

Love your content but please change the camera angle while driving. It’s useless, give us something that shows the entire dashboard like we’re in the driving position. Keep up the good work !
Every time you said on throttle you couldn’t tell the difference, when you did that with the trx you where far more excited, its not about whats between your legs its about the experience. There is no replacement for supercharger whine. Thanks
If you twisted my arm id take a raptor R. Lol. I have a trx which is loads of fun to drive as a limited daily, the gas mileage is the only down fall, but i knew that going in. I don’t regret the purchase. Thanks
Lol, when Raptors first came out in Canada you could get one for $65,000 they want $130,000 for a Gen 3 V6 i heard a guy ordered one and it was over $200,000 can $ all said and done lol. I bought a 2017 F-150 SC Roush for $57,000 looks like i did very well, my truck sounds better than this Raptor R.

Joe, regarding the pockets on the backs of the front seats, your idea about putting books related to dinosaurs is excellent! Anything that will get the kids to put down the damn machines is a great idea in my mind. Other than that, another great truck!
