Hi Joe, just saw this older Ford Raptor review. My Ford Gen2 Raptor is now 2 years old with 30k miles. We still like it a lot and use it also for long cross country family trips. I like it so much that it has substituted my daily driver car....

Awesome truck...my wife just bought me a magnetic gray one for my birthday. She bought me a Challenger Hellcat in December 2014, this truck is amazing! It’s a brute in the same fashion as the Hellcat except in truck form! I’ve had several F250 Lariats and platinums but this truck is smoother, nicer and looks better. I’m really impressed.

Awesome review as normal, thanks again Joe. Rumour is a 7.0 (6.9) special edition at the end of 2019 going into 2020, the jury is still out whether it will happen but I've seen a few articles on it in my random travel's on the interwebs. I don't see anything wrong with the twin turbo six though, If its good enough for the GT.....

Fastest 27 minutes of my life!! Outstanding review!! Not even into Ford Raptors but I like to know a little bit of everything. I know it's probably not allowed by the dealership but it'll be nice to see the window sticker or to know the price range. I think with all your knowledge and enthusiasm about the tunning days it'll be nice if you could do like a special episode where you talk about all those great tunning cars from the 90s and early 2000s. Sort of a documentary with pictures and small clips with real information about that great era. You could talk about the war between companies to become the king of the hill. I'm talking about Nissan, with the 300z the 280 the skyline, mitsubishi with the eclipse, the 3000gt (gto), the early evo, toyota with the supra, Honda with the crx wich started some crazy engineering advancements for honda, the civic, the Acura nsx, Subaru with the iconic impreza...and the list goes on. I think with your experience and knowledge you can create a wonderful piece. With your experience as a driver and the love for cars you could make it work. Make sure you give us an introduction talking a little bit about yourself and your race days so we can see where you are coming from. I could collaborate in the development of the proyect. It could even be in series of episodes. Just a thought.

Somebody mentioned it with last video I did with the 2015 BMW M235i but I had already filmed this so stay tuned for more. Cant go wrong with the Ford Raptor. The only downside is prob the high price for the fully kitted out at over 60 grand.

I don't know why you said wider than 40 inches; I think you meant to say 80. A normal F-150 is 79.9 inches and an F-150 Raptor is 86.3 inches. Any vehicle that is 80 inches and wider needs the marker lights, which is why a normal F-150 is 79.9 inches.

Idk. Great truck but, the RAM with the viper engine is pretty unique too. Don’t forget about the hellcat RAM on the way😅.
Furby AndElmo for me it takes more then just a big engine. This thing would run circles around the Dodge Ram SRT-10 especially off road. We will have to wait and see!😉🏁

The Raptor name is located directly on the headrest. It's directly underneath it.
No,, its not the most performance car! Its the best car man ever made!! It made Mercedes GLE 63 AMG, Range Rover, BMW X6 literally worthless.
Its super comfortable, smooth like an air jet, powerful like a NASA Rocket, and luxurious like a presidential car!

Great review. Local dealer in Queensbury NY has two on the lot, MSRP $72k, but mandatory $10k market adjustment...$82k firm....or I could buy a new Ram Laramie with Cummins diesel and save $20k. Cool, but not that cool...interior very...black. A cool truck for sure, price is a big obstacle though.

Nice truck but too big and too many doors for me. You have to bring this out to the desert to off road because you’re gonna need that much space! No good for trail riding. I would like to see them sell the ranger raptor here or even better make a raptor version of the new bronco when it comes out!
Tom c you bring up great points. You don’t have to get it in crew cab setup. From what the inside tip is they are coming out with a Ranger Raptor so stay tuned!😊👍🏻

The Raptor is overrated. It's a single-purpose truck designed for racing/leaping sand dunes. :) Rock crawling...NO. :) "Performance truck" (street truck built for speed..low to the ground). NOPE.
Most owners don't live anywhere near dunes or rock trails.
You can drive this truck in comfort everyday without an issue. I know it isn't for everyone though! Thank you for sharing your perspective!
