This is why the Majin Vegeta arc is so important to me. As someone who used to get in trouble with the law who has now turned their life around, a part of me almost misses that time because mentally i didnt care about anything, nothing worried me, nothing got to me, but because of that i was a menace to those around me. Db taught me that i can take the positive traits from my old self and use it to carve out a better version of myself, a version that doesnt self destruct or spew venom to others. Its never to late to change.

Man, Dragon Ball has been, for lack of a better word, my safe space for as long as I can remember. Anytime I’m hurt and need of something to make me feel better, Dragon Ball is always there for me. As a matter of fact, just today, my girlfriend pretty much called me a loser for being too focused on my work, workouts and having little social life (no my fault since most of my close friends have moved out of town and it’s generally difficult for guys to make new friends while in their 30s). Nonetheless, I was really hurt, so what I did is I worked out in my room (since I have a mini gym in there) while I had the Tournament of Power playing on my monitor. That just made me feel so much better. Dragon Ball till the day I die.

My own personal motto is "As long as I'm still breathing; I have a purpose..." Some days are easier than others, but some days are also harder than others. It really hurts when people you care about decide to give up the fight. It's been over a year and Jason David Frank's passing still hits hard because he was a hero to myself and many other kids. Not just of the 90s, but anyone who got into Power Rangers at some point in their lives. Dragon Ball certainly preaches the message of never giving up. Sad fact is that unlike the anime, we don't have magical orbs or godly beings who could bring us back from the dead. We get one shot in this life and we gotta make it count!

Man wasn’t expecting such a deep upload tonight but you’re right, I think the main reason I love dragon ball is because of the underlying message to never give up, even when you feel you’re at your limit, Dragon Ball teaches to break those limits. I had a rough patch back in August-October to where I couldn’t even leave my house but the thing that helped me thru that period was watching Dragon Ball and your videos. It’s like watching/reading Dragon Ball keeps me in touch with that innocence of childhood that I miss now that I’m an adult
This discussion about anger made me reflect on the difference between a protagonist Super Saiyan and a Sith like Darth Vader. Both are powered up through anger, but it seems like controlling it and using it effectively is the key. One who cannot control his own anger might just end up like Anakin Skywalker or Broly from the Super movie, losing their sense and even harming innocent people. While it's not easy to have no anger like an ideal Jedi, one can still have great achievements with anger, as long as he keeps his sense and knows what to do, as well as what he's doing.
I am definitely on the opposite side of the coin on ur argument. Cell arc is great and unforgettable with mistakes being punished. I dont work out or get motivated when mad like i do hate my parents (sometimes) and friends (a lot) but cant curse out my reps/sets. Hang in the qaaman on whatever it is bothering u. I really appreciate this acknowledgment of why DB is so special to me. I’m a therapist who works with individuals and couples. For so many people I’m the “Goku” helping them to find the strength within themselves. My job can be tough, though. My partner and I have an understanding that I need decompression time after a tough day. This time almost always involves watching clips with Gohan’s fight with Cell or, more often, Goku going SSJ3. There is always something left within us that can take us “even further beyond.”
I love dragon ball motivational music videos. I can’t tell you how times I used them at tough times in my life or even working out and hearing vegeta saying no , I can do more! Always got me to do at least one more. Even if I was exhausted and collapsed afterwards.

It's people like you Qaaman who keep this series so relevant and alive. Great video brother, Dragon Ball has been an escape for me the last 3 years as I have and am still going through some pretty tough stuff with my family. But through my faith and through examples of not giving up no matter and continuing to fight like Goku and Vegeta have done, has really kept me going and motivated me to see things all the way to the end.
Goku's Kaioken x4 Kamehameha against Vegeta is one of the most iconic moments in the show for a reason. Kaioken already pushed Goku's body to its absolute limits but Goku found a way to even push beyond his own limits. There are times in life where it really does it seem like your best isn't enough and you gotta go beyond your 100% to even stand a fighting chance. DBZ is classic shonen, it has none of that "power my friendship" disney nonsense, its about pushing past one's own limits and getting back up after defeats 2 things i'm sure most men can relate to subconsciously.

When I first met Goku and Vegeta as a kid it made me understand life was a battle. No matter how many times we fail we have to keep going that’s what DBZ taught me.
Thank you for this video Qaaman. Dragonball has taught me important lessons in my life such as not giving up even when life is hard and stay positive. The Dragonball scenes that impact me the most are Kid Goku using one arm to defeat King Piccolo, Gohan using the Father-Son Kamehameha to defeat Cell and Bardock going through Frezia’ soldiers to fight Frezia. I’m currently going through some health issues. I’ve changed my diet and now working out a lot and going to the gym. Dragonball has taught me to train my body and mind well, live life to the fullest and not to fear death. I’m going to feel disappointed and angry at myself after I die knowing that I didn’t give the best fight the best I could in my life.
This was a very mature take. To me dragonball is like a second home of sorts...it's always stuck around. When I play games or watch the anime I feel like I'm home.

For me it's because I started watching it at the time in my life I needed to learn strength through endurance. My parents had just gotten divorced, I was going through puberty and I was getting bullied at school, needless to I wasn't the happiest person at that time. One of the first times I went to visit my dad and new stepmom on the weekends her son was there and he was much older. He was watching DBZ and it was the episode where Vegeta sacrifices himself against Buu, until then I'd never given the show much thought but if he liked it I thought it must be good. The next episode aired and there was just something about when Piccolo told Krillin that Goten and Trunks were the last hope just got to me. It showed that even though they just had a huge blow that's no reason to give up and you need to find a different solution. Mine was to stop ruminating on what I had lost and learning how to live and find happiness in this new saga. Fast forwarding years later I was renting a room in a house with a family. Everything was great until the mother was found cheating on her husband and they decided to get divorced. Their youngest son was in a similar mind state to how I was back then and I told him to call me if he ever needed advice because I'd been through this before. After we all moved he called me one day in absolute tears telling me he was contemplating the exit game strategy. I met up with him the next day and spoke with him about everything he was feeling. Keep in mind that we were completely different people, he was a very good looking young man who was playing on the varsity Water Polo team as a sophomore, he had a very cute girlfriend who was a senior, was really popular and was already getting offers to play Water Polo in college. I reminded him that he had so much going for him that it would be incredibly foolish to throw it all away over this. I then reminded him that when I went through my parents' divorce I had none of that and I was able to fight through it, so if I could do it he could as well. Most importantly he had me, someone who has been through this before who could guide and support him. He was also a huge DBZ fan but he only watched the show for the action scenes. I mentioned to him that DBZ is what got me through my journey and he should rewatch the show but to really pay attention to the context behind why they keep getting stronger. We would speak and meet up several times over the course of the next couple of years and I could see the growth in him. I haven't spoken to him in a long time because he ended up going to college in Nebraska but before he left we met up one more time and he thanked me for being there for him. I told him to never forget the person he has become and how much stronger he was because of what he went through and that if the day comes where he meets someone who is struggling the way we both did to help guide them the way I guided him. I don't really like to believe in things like fate but I do believe that things in life happen to not only make us stronger but to help others become stronger as well.
Quit a very horrible job today I’ve been scared of the future but what you said in this video especially the end resonated with me gohan was always my favorite character cuz I have anxiety like him and always felt like I was holding back cuz I was scared to fail but what you said makes me hopeful I might be broken but I’ll give my all in moving forward

I remember we lost the nationals for basketball. We won the year before and I HATE losing, so as usual I went off on my team. Back then, like 2 years ago now, I was a huge asshole. I was constantly putting my family through bs cause I kept getting into trouble at school, with the law etc it was so bad I had to go to a mental facility or risk being expelled. It was there I genuinely felt like ending it all and having those thoughts scared me. I thought stuff like depression was for weak ppl. I was confronted with the “monster” within. I suddenly remembered the scene with Yakon vs Goku. Yakon is a being that eats light emitted from others. Goku powered up to his maximum and overwhelmed him by making him eat too much. Darkness exists in the absence of light, so no matter how hard it gets you have to keep pushing through and you can overwhelm the darkness in your life with your inner light. This is obviously metaphor for things like courage and stuff like that. In the Bible, it says to “let your light so shine before men that they may see your good deeds”. Idk that’s a verse that always stuck with me for some reason. I realised in my life I had been inadequate, I was a yakon type person going around and abusing peoples kindness, bullying them and stealing their light. I had been watching Dragon Ball almost my whole life but when I decided to watch it at that time in my life, I realised I never actually “watched” it in the same way others did. I never internalised any of the lessons. Dragon Ball was ironically the thing that taught me that losing sometimes is okay and that there is still a purpose to your life, even if you don’t win. I’ve read the comments. This video doesn’t have crazy views but it’s obvious that it’s helped people. Seriously videos like these can come into ppls recommended feed and genuinely save people’s lives when their at the end of their tether. For all the toxicity and degenerate weeb nonsense and power scaling bs in the anime community there are still some real gems of information. My cousin is going throughput the same things I went through and she also likes Dragon Ball, we used to watch it in secret at our uncle’s place and we bonded over that. I’ll definitely send this video to her and let her know I still believe in her and that it’s never too late to change. Vegeta’s a perfect example.

When I was a kid, dragon ball was the main thing that was there for me. My mom got me the og dragon ball episodes collection, I watched it every chance I could. My brothers dad was very abusive and to escape everything aside from running away, I just hid in my room and watched dragon ball as loud as I could without upsetting him. I grew attached to the characters and cried when Goku won the martial arts tournament. Then Dragon Ball Z came around, opening me up to a new world...a painful one if I'm going to be honest. Watching the z fighters die to Nappa one by one, I remember crying my eyes out. I was begging silently for Goku to hurry, heck I'm tearing up now just recalling these feelings. I don't want to sound like a coward of a kid, but while most people were amazed by the super saiyan transformation I was scared. That wasn't Goku, that was a demon who yelled at others. He wasn't the friendly hero I knew, he was gone! Enveloped by the legend! Until I saw him give energy to Frieza, I thought he was back. I am a little sad the anime version I had showed Goku being angry when he killed Frieza, if I got the sorrowful look on his face, my little kid self would have felt a lot more safer in my hero. The point is, dragon ball was there for me in tough times and it taught me so much, like what this video is saying. I'll keep fighting on through life, if you guys keep fighting too. Till Goku needs us to hold our hands up again, ciao.

I hate to bring race into this but as being black yourself yk exactly what I mean 💯 I love that u made this video cuz I can be purely as honest as you were which is also why your the best TH-camr out there….. growing up I used dragon ball as my strength & back in the day not many ppl were as kool with anime or dragon ball except a couple ppl you were koo with as opposed as there is now…. I got into dragon ball before I got into being social with other kids & the fact that Ik about dragon ball I had that strength in me to be able to do certain things such as defend myself & other people who weren’t as kool as others…not that I fought everybody who hated nerds but in a sense where pppl who weren’t as kool I could talk & relate to them black or white & be comfortable & not think that just because you feel your more popular u are better than us💯 because I also had popular friends too & they used to be confused to why I hung out with “lames” but it was because Ik how they felt & I could defend them because of dragon ball basically… Not everything was peachy growing up I wanted to do TH-cam just like you & I used to watch you do it back in 2013-14 it was such an inspiration even now & tbh I feel like I could do a video with you..& watching you I feel like I have the confidence to do so & I feel like we could tackle so many topics but it’s not just that… Ppl used to kill each other as I was trying my best just to put out videos & I never knew when I would die & I lost alot of ppl who I could depend on due to death &/or ilnneses just like goku w a heart virus… also I’ve had times where I didn’t feel like I could do enough just like krillin…. I love the fact you made this video because Ik exactly wym! Getting in fights, having confidence, being weak, trying your hardest even when you think it might not work or just because you had to because you had no other option sits real hard & if it wasn’t for this series idek if I would be in the position I’m in now….. Keep fighting, guys. I'm heavily disabled (wheelchair and all that) and I use my limits as motivatiion to surpass them. On the internet, I don't feel QUITE so disabled. Guys, I definitely don't know as much about DB, but I'm curious. how does dragon ball as a whole teach you resilience(mind you this is the same manga with people like Bulma, Oolong, Tien and roshi in it)? The fight against evil? Personal circumstances?(for instance teen trunks) cuz i get the point he's trying to make, but what stakes are there if the dragon balls had always been in the possession of our main characters? There's no true "resistance" if you could just wish the problems away(see, DBS for instance) To me, this just seems like a focus on the nostalgia of the series while ignoring its many flaws(dropped characters, questionable plot points etc). Regardless, not trying to attack you all, just want a meaningful debate

If i had wanted life lessons i'd have just watched pokemon or the disney channel. I remember the mindless violence. Quaman please bear with me please don't ignore this. Superman isn't as strong as death battle make it out to be EVEN AT HIS BEST.i don't like it when they lie to my community like this. I am NOT saying blindly believe me I am saying please read 1 comic and if it largely contradicts death battle description then you understand that is just 1 step down the rabbit whole. What happens in the story is that the entire superhero army full of powerhouses like superman all attack the Anti monitor and do ZERO damage. Dr light then is able to absorb a star in which the Anti monitor is holding the energy of the anti matter universe In and then uses the very energy to KO the Anti monitor, the other heros also attacking. (At this point the Anti monitor no longer the energy of the anti matter universe).All the heros start to go home on a 1 way portal to their regular universe. The Anti monitors shadow demons return and revive him. At this point only Golden age superman, Superboy and Alexander Luther are the only ones that didn't go through the portal. Then Superman attacks the Anti monitor and he acknowledges his weaker. The Anti monitor then realizes that the shadow demons he absorbed have been poisoned by the magic users and it is actively hurting him. THEN we get the scene where Anti monitor hits Superman with an attack. The Anti monitor does not even have the energy of the anti matter universe anymore. The superman and Superboy prime gets knocked down and basically out for a bit, while the Anti monitor holds them in his hand, Darkseid seeing resorts to funnel energy through Alexander Luther and he knocks Anti monitor into a star. The anti monitor then gets up as a ghostly shaped blob and then Superman punches him. This is when death battle says he created a reboot by doing this. I am not saying that you should blindly believe me I am saying please please read the comic so you know the truth for yourself. They lie alot.
@@QaamansLand(World Forger feat) Are you aware of how dimensionality works in DC. That characters get larger and larger when they get to higher dimensions. This was displayed in " New Gods Vol 4 issue 10". When the monster superman and orion are fighting tear a whole in space, time and little planets come out. Orion explained to superman that those planets were the size that superman comes from and that supermans universe and other universes are smaller than entire gods like Darkseid and orion. Superman then mentioned to orion that himself and orion are the same size so how can what he said he true. Orion says it's because of boomtubes and they change the size of the traveler to the appropriate size of that universe. At the end of final crisis Darkseid fell on all the 52 universes and almost caused their destruction. The interesting part is that when Darkseid goes to the regular universe he shrinks and so looses a significant amount of his power to the point where he can only destroy planets and do solar system level feats. I mention this because Darkseids dimension is only one dimension above the regular. The fith dimension is the imps and the last is the 6th dimension where superman fought the world forger was in the 6th dimension. Superman did it being boosted by 6 dimensional suns and destroyed the multiverse which was a 6th dimensionsional construct because it was about to replace the current multiverse in Justice League 2019 issue 25. World forger then joins the Justice League and goes with them to the lower dimension and loses a significant amount his power. We know this because in Justice League issue 30 and 31 he mentioned that his lost alot of his power because of dimensionality. In issue 31 he mentioned that although his power is greatly diminished he can only destroy a universe with his hammer. So what I am saying the relative change in power from the 6th dimension to the regular dimension ( that superman is from) means that he is only universal in the regular and means supermans sundip would only truly be universal at best. Also do you know about the Source wall and how it basically surrounds the DC universe and stops expandtion, since it also creates a protective bubble around the universe, case in point when Perpetua escaped the Source wall, she destroyed the wall and planets at the edge started falling into the void. Also superman never out ran infinity he just left his universe. The comic is DC presents #29. Superman was just chasing supergirl.

Some days are easier than others, but some days are also harder than others. It really hurts when people you care about decide to give up the fight. It's been over a year and Jason David Frank's passing still hits hard because he was a hero to myself and many other kids. Not just of the 90s, but anyone who got into Power Rangers at some point in their lives.
Dragon Ball certainly preaches the message of never giving up. Sad fact is that unlike the anime, we don't have magical orbs or godly beings who could bring us back from the dead. We get one shot in this life and we gotta make it count!
Dragon Ball taught us the importance of tenacity and discipline. Also doing the right thing just for the sake of it, not for clout or etc.

Man wasn’t expecting such a deep upload tonight but you’re right, I think the main reason I love dragon ball is because of the underlying message to never give up, even when you feel you’re at your limit, Dragon Ball teaches to break those limits. I had a rough patch back in August-October to where I couldn’t even leave my house but the thing that helped me thru that period was watching Dragon Ball and your videos. It’s like watching/reading Dragon Ball keeps me in touch with that innocence of childhood that I miss now that I’m an adult
This discussion about anger made me reflect on the difference between a protagonist Super Saiyan and a Sith like Darth Vader. Both are powered up through anger, but it seems like controlling it and using it effectively is the key. One who cannot control his own anger might just end up like Anakin Skywalker or Broly from the Super movie, losing their sense and even harming innocent people. While it's not easy to have no anger like an ideal Jedi, one can still have great achievements with anger, as long as he keeps his sense and knows what to do, as well as what he's doing.
I am definitely on the opposite side of the coin on ur argument. Cell arc is great and unforgettable with mistakes being punished. I dont work out or get motivated when mad like i do hate my parents (sometimes) and friends (a lot) but cant curse out my reps/sets. Hang in the qaaman on whatever it is bothering u. I really appreciate this acknowledgment of why DB is so special to me. I’m a therapist who works with individuals and couples. For so many people I’m the “Goku” helping them to find the strength within themselves. My job can be tough, though. My partner and I have an understanding that I need decompression time after a tough day. This time almost always involves watching clips with Gohan’s fight with Cell or, more often, Goku going SSJ3. There is always something left within us that can take us “even further beyond.”
I love dragon ball motivational music videos. I can’t tell you how times I used them at tough times in my life or even working out and hearing vegeta saying no , I can do more! Always got me to do at least one more. Even if I was exhausted and collapsed afterwards.

Goku's Kaioken x4 Kamehameha against Vegeta is one of the most iconic moments in the show for a reason. Kaioken already pushed Goku's body to its absolute limits but Goku found a way to even push beyond his own limits. There are times in life where it really does it seem like your best isn't enough and you gotta go beyond your 100% to even stand a fighting chance. DBZ is classic shonen, it has none of that "power my friendship" disney nonsense, its about pushing past one's own limits and getting back up after defeats 2 things i'm sure most men can relate to subconsciously.

Thank you for this video Qaaman. Dragonball has taught me important lessons in my life such as not giving up even when life is hard and stay positive. The Dragonball scenes that impact me the most are Kid Goku using one arm to defeat King Piccolo, Gohan using the Father-Son Kamehameha to defeat Cell and Bardock going through Frezia’ soldiers to fight Frezia. I’m currently going through some health issues. I’ve changed my diet and now working out a lot and going to the gym. Dragonball has taught me to train my body and mind well, live life to the fullest and not to fear death. I’m going to feel disappointed and angry at myself after I die knowing that I didn’t give the best fight the best I could in my life.
This was a very mature take. To me dragonball is like a second home of sorts...it's always stuck around. When I play games or watch the anime I feel like I'm home.

For me it's because I started watching it at the time in my life I needed to learn strength through endurance. My parents had just gotten divorced, I was going through puberty and I was getting bullied at school, needless to I wasn't the happiest person at that time. One of the first times I went to visit my dad and new stepmom on the weekends her son was there and he was much older. He was watching DBZ and it was the episode where Vegeta sacrifices himself against Buu, until then I'd never given the show much thought but if he liked it I thought it must be good. The next episode aired and there was just something about when Piccolo told Krillin that Goten and Trunks were the last hope just got to me. It showed that even though they just had a huge blow that's no reason to give up and you need to find a different solution. Mine was to stop ruminating on what I had lost and learning how to live and find happiness in this new saga.
Fast forwarding years later I was renting a room in a house with a family. Everything was great until the mother was found cheating on her husband and they decided to get divorced. Their youngest son was in a similar mind state to how I was back then and I told him to call me if he ever needed advice because I'd been through this before. After we all moved he called me one day in absolute tears telling me he was contemplating the exit game strategy. I met up with him the next day and spoke with him about everything he was feeling. Keep in mind that we were completely different people, he was a very good looking young man who was playing on the varsity Water Polo team as a sophomore, he had a very cute girlfriend who was a senior, was really popular and was already getting offers to play Water Polo in college. I reminded him that he had so much going for him that it would be incredibly foolish to throw it all away over this. I then reminded him that when I went through my parents' divorce I had none of that and I was able to fight through it, so if I could do it he could as well. Most importantly he had me, someone who has been through this before who could guide and support him. He was also a huge DBZ fan but he only watched the show for the action scenes. I mentioned to him that DBZ is what got me through my journey and he should rewatch the show but to really pay attention to the context behind why they keep getting stronger. We would speak and meet up several times over the course of the next couple of years and I could see the growth in him. I haven't spoken to him in a long time because he ended up going to college in Nebraska but before he left we met up one more time and he thanked me for being there for him. I told him to never forget the person he has become and how much stronger he was because of what he went through and that if the day comes where he meets someone who is struggling the way we both did to help guide them the way I guided him. I don't really like to believe in things like fate but I do believe that things in life happen to not only make us stronger but to help others become stronger as well.

I remember we lost the nationals for basketball. We won the year before and I HATE losing, so as usual I went off on my team. Back then, like 2 years ago now, I was a huge asshole. I was constantly putting my family through bs cause I kept getting into trouble at school, with the law etc it was so bad I had to go to a mental facility or risk being expelled. It was there I genuinely felt like ending it all and having those thoughts scared me. I thought stuff like depression was for weak ppl. I was confronted with the “monster” within.
I suddenly remembered the scene with Yakon vs Goku. Yakon is a being that eats light emitted from others. Goku powered up to his maximum and overwhelmed him by making him eat too much. Darkness exists in the absence of light, so no matter how hard it gets you have to keep pushing through and you can overwhelm the darkness in your life with your inner light. This is obviously metaphor for things like courage and stuff like that. In the Bible, it says to “let your light so shine before men that they may see your good deeds”. Idk that’s a verse that always stuck with me for some reason. I realised in my life I had been inadequate, I was a yakon type person going around and abusing peoples kindness, bullying them and stealing their light.
I had been watching Dragon Ball almost my whole life but when I decided to watch it at that time in my life, I realised I never actually “watched” it in the same way others did. I never internalised any of the lessons. Dragon Ball was ironically the thing that taught me that losing sometimes is okay and that there is still a purpose to your life, even if you don’t win.
I’ve read the comments. This video doesn’t have crazy views but it’s obvious that it’s helped people. Seriously videos like these can come into ppls recommended feed and genuinely save people’s lives when their at the end of their tether. For all the toxicity and degenerate weeb nonsense and power scaling bs in the anime community there are still some real gems of information.
My cousin is going throughput the same things I went through and she also likes Dragon Ball, we used to watch it in secret at our uncle’s place and we bonded over that. I’ll definitely send this video to her and let her know I still believe in her and that it’s never too late to change. Vegeta’s a perfect example.

When I was a kid, dragon ball was the main thing that was there for me. My mom got me the og dragon ball episodes collection, I watched it every chance I could. My brothers dad was very abusive and to escape everything aside from running away, I just hid in my room and watched dragon ball as loud as I could without upsetting him. I grew attached to the characters and cried when Goku won the martial arts tournament. Then Dragon Ball Z came around, opening me up to a new world...a painful one if I'm going to be honest. Watching the z fighters die to Nappa one by one, I remember crying my eyes out. I was begging silently for Goku to hurry, heck I'm tearing up now just recalling these feelings. I don't want to sound like a coward of a kid, but while most people were amazed by the super saiyan transformation I was scared. That wasn't Goku, that was a demon who yelled at others. He wasn't the friendly hero I knew, he was gone! Enveloped by the legend! Until I saw him give energy to Frieza, I thought he was back. I am a little sad the anime version I had showed Goku being angry when he killed Frieza, if I got the sorrowful look on his face, my little kid self would have felt a lot more safer in my hero. The point is, dragon ball was there for me in tough times and it taught me so much, like what this video is saying. I'll keep fighting on through life, if you guys keep fighting too. Till Goku needs us to hold our hands up again, ciao.

growing up I used dragon ball as my strength & back in the day not many ppl were as kool with anime or dragon ball except a couple ppl you were koo with as opposed as there is now…. This is a big series & to this day i think it’s still underrated! Guys, I definitely don't know as much about DB, but I'm curious. how does dragon ball as a whole teach you resilience(mind you this is the same manga with people like Bulma, Oolong, Tien and roshi in it)? The fight against evil? Personal circumstances?(for instance teen trunks) cuz i get the point he's trying to make, but what stakes are there if the dragon balls had always been in the possession of our main characters? There's no true "resistance" if you could just wish the problems away(see, DBS for instance) To me, this just seems like a focus on the nostalgia of the series while ignoring its many flaws(dropped characters, questionable plot points etc). Regardless, not trying to attack you all, just want a meaningful debate

Quaman please bear with me please don't ignore this. Superman isn't as strong as death battle make it out to be EVEN AT HIS BEST.i don't like it when they lie to my community like this. I am NOT saying blindly believe me I am saying please read 1 comic and if it largely contradicts death battle description then you understand that is just 1 step down the rabbit whole.
What happens in the story is that the entire superhero army full of powerhouses like superman all attack the Anti monitor and do ZERO damage. Dr light then is able to absorb a star in which the Anti monitor is holding the energy of the anti matter universe In and then uses the very energy to KO the Anti monitor, the other heros also attacking. (At this point the Anti monitor no longer the energy of the anti matter universe).All the heros start to go home on a 1 way portal to their regular universe. The Anti monitors shadow demons return and revive him. At this point only Golden age superman, Superboy and Alexander Luther are the only ones that didn't go through the portal. Then Superman attacks the Anti monitor and he acknowledges his weaker. The Anti monitor then realizes that the shadow demons he absorbed have been poisoned by the magic users and it is actively hurting him.
THEN we get the scene where Anti monitor hits Superman with an attack. The Anti monitor does not even have the energy of the anti matter universe anymore.
The superman and Superboy prime gets knocked down and basically out for a bit, while the Anti monitor holds them in his hand, Darkseid seeing resorts to funnel energy through Alexander Luther and he knocks Anti monitor into a star.
The anti monitor then gets up as a ghostly shaped blob and then Superman punches him. This is when death battle says he created a reboot by doing this.
I am not saying that you should blindly believe me I am saying please please read the comic so you know the truth for yourself. They lie alot.

This was displayed in " New Gods Vol 4 issue 10". When the monster superman and orion are fighting tear a whole in space, time and little planets come out. Orion explained to superman that those planets were the size that superman comes from and that supermans universe and other universes are smaller than entire gods like Darkseid and orion. Superman then mentioned to orion that himself and orion are the same size so how can what he said he true. Orion says it's because of boomtubes and they change the size of the traveler to the appropriate size of that universe.
At the end of final crisis Darkseid fell on all the 52 universes and almost caused their destruction. The interesting part is that when Darkseid goes to the regular universe he shrinks and so looses a significant amount of his power to the point where he can only destroy planets and do solar system level feats.
I mention this because Darkseids dimension is only one dimension above the regular. The fith dimension is the imps and the last is the 6th dimension where superman fought the world forger was in the 6th dimension. Superman did it being boosted by 6 dimensional suns and destroyed the multiverse which was a 6th dimensionsional construct because it was about to replace the current multiverse in Justice League 2019 issue 25. World forger then joins the Justice League and goes with them to the lower dimension and loses a significant amount his power. We know this because in Justice League issue 30 and 31 he mentioned that his lost alot of his power because of dimensionality. In issue 31 he mentioned that although his power is greatly diminished he can only destroy a universe with his hammer. So what I am saying the relative change in power from the 6th dimension to the regular dimension ( that superman is from) means that he is only universal in the regular and means supermans sundip would only truly be universal at best.
Also do you know about the Source wall and how it basically surrounds the DC universe and stops expandtion, since it also creates a protective bubble around the universe, case in point when Perpetua escaped the Source wall, she destroyed the wall and planets at the edge started falling into the void.
