I was hoping this was a prequel when both the schools and monsters were more active. They could include Geralt too by making the game about someone in the same group that went through the trial of the grasses with him.
There is already a mod that allow you to change character to Triss Yen or other important person in the game. It dont change the story, just the character and you can also change the voice. Witcher 4 sounds very interesting.
Considering that they’d be working on something familiar I’m gunna put my money on CDPR. The gameplay will be great the only thing I’m a bit worried about is if they can make a compelling story

I think it's pretty obvious that the main character in the witcher 4 is going to be Ciri. We've already played as her in a few chapters of the witcher 3, and the game could start just after Geralt gave her the witcher swords at the end of W3.

In the whole statement from cdpr's director, he explains that the new witcher saga (witcher 4) is the most advanced out of the games that they are currently working on, in the sense that they have come the longest in developing it. He didn't mean "advanced" as in some extraordinary technological marvel, like you put it in the video, although it may sound like that if you take it out of context.
It would be nice if they do a story on Lombard and the guy with blond hair. Maybe The Witcher's in 2024 with a different life yet still in the forest getting rid of the Dogmen, Wolfs, and Crytid.

Witcher 3 already had a handful of cringey moments where female characters would gloat about how easily they manipulated him, and how subordinate and inferior he was. As if female chauvinism is somehow magically acceptible where male chauvinism isn't. It wasn't quite intolerable though, but very nearly so.
Well to begin with i prefer for game studios to take there time and make a good game and working one then rush games like most studios witch then take several years to fix or they never get there . Even if it is 3-4 more years till Witcher 4 is fine by me if it means a better game.

The horse was always my least favorite part of the Witcher...it was not done well, lots of glitches, having to hold down x to canter (I might as well just control the whole horse) the horse refusing to move, getting stuck on any and everything when summoned.. etc
