Friend and I tested these two doctrines as well, see 7:35. Reduced Damage from Cav during brace. We used Modao with fronal Monastic Knight charge. With no doctrine applied, one charge in total did 100-103k damage. With 40% Doctrine (Indomitable Will V) it was down to 59-61k damage, so very accurate 40% reduction. With 30% Doctrine (No Quarter) damage was 96-97.5k damage. More like a 3% damage reduction instead of 30% !! We tested it and averaged it around multiple tests (one charge, exit match and see end screen "damage dealt"). So I wonder, was it an issue with Modao or is it a general bug? Did you test "No Quarter" Doctrine alone already and confirmed the damage reduction working properly?
Buff can be applied each soldier. So check left side of soldier around 43 sec. Buff is still working. DMG is about 90.Each buff can work once per soldier.
Game would be more immersive if they don´t create modern Tanks and name ist Cavalry for a medieval game. I enyou every infantry match up in CB. For comin season I can smell even now the dirty horse sweat --.--
Cavalry frontally running into braced spears, pikes, halberds and coming out on top is one of the biggest flaws with the game. Largely at fault I think is the bad engine/ server structure unable to keep up with fast moving Cavalry.
really hate chinese cav units charging head on at horde of pike units bracing at them and come out on top wiping pike units so chinese game = all chinese units op look at wuwei a goddamn mere guard with folk can wipe a elite golden tier troop so easy in split of sec
@@Jixxorgot my supposedly anti cav units (camel lancers and Spear sergeants) decimated by Yanyuedao and companion cavalry in 2 separate games. Guess the only counter to OP cav is another OP cav
@@derickscottclaro6360 Spear Sergeant aren't at all anti-cav honestly. Maybe the game gives that impression because they have a veterancy node that reduces damage from cavalry, but they don't have the trait that makes them deal bonus damage and slow to cavalry units. YYD get wiped by braced blue halbs, purple halbs, IPG advance, Fortebraccio, Modao, Phalanx.

Have you done doctrine combo test with other pole arm units？if it works correctly, it must be something wrong with modao.

I know you said you didn't measure it exactly, but the dmg reduction seems to end at around 21seconds, not past 45 sec

other nation cav is doing fine i think but all chinese units are op asf so much bias toward chinese units
