As a Longsword main, as long as my ult is up and I see a winged hussar charge incoming, there is no threat to my teams units. Adding Halbrediers behind me, makes the hussars die directly after I stop their charge.

Yes. dmg reduction doc and dmg reduction buff are beneficial for this unit
