Asian Whole Lobster Recipe ~ Tasty Noodles, Chinese Restaurant Style!

  • My wife cooked a Cantonese style stir-fry lobster and it was so delicious! The recipe is called "Ginger Scallion Lobster with Noodles". You’ll find this in many Chinese seafood restaurants. It is a very popular dish in Hong Kong and China.
    She really did a good job here 👍 (yes, this is a compliment) and I honestly think it tasted similar, if not, better than some of the restaurants that we had spent a lot of money on.
    The best thing about this Chinese lobster recipe is that it's very easy to make and is much cheaper to cook it yourself (FACT!!). It is the perfect dinner idea if you want to enjoy a gourmet Asian seafood meal without breaking the bank. 😋
    Ingredients:
    Whole Lobster - 1 (weight 1.9kg)
    Egg Noodle - 1kg
    Ginger - 10 slices
    Garlic - 1 bulb
    Scallion - 1 bunch
    Light Soy Sauce - 1/2 cup
    Chinese Cooking Wine (shaoxing wine) - 3 tbsp
    Chicken Powder - 2 tsp
    Potato Starch - 1/4 cup for sauce thickening
    Potato Starch - 4 scoops for coating and frying
    Water - 2 ½ cups
    Cooking Oil
    Salt & Pepper
    The sauce that comes with this dish is packed with amazing flavors. Every bite of that lobster tail is mouth-watering and those egg noodles or lo mein is simply YUM!!!
