This is a favorite of mine. Lobster and shrimp have a lot more flavor when cooked in their shells.
Wishing you & your team a very Happy Chinese New Year and thanks for sharing such great recipes.
Absolutely amazing i cook wood pigeons and rabbits, pheasant etc from hunting they all twitch just the nerves, I have used the recipe for game and it works well yum.
Great video. Got creeped out when I saw the legs still moving. Looked like a facehugger from aliens but tasty! Happy new year!
Fantastic skill and very clear instructions
Police Officer: You failed the breathalyser test
Me: I don’t even drink, just ate lobster tonight
Wow! Very interesting adding beer to this...I haven't ever tried it like that but you make everything look so yummy, thanks again for all these new ways to cook.
Now that would be a great meal with which to bring in the Lunar New Year! Please if you could in a future video, show us how to cook Alaskan King Crab. Thank you and have a Happy New Year!
Did the course there yesterday ... I think we all did a good effort on this ..but not quite as good ! Great evening out in London. Highly recommended rather than just going out for a meal.
I almost tipped the chef !
Brilliant, I'm glad you enjoyed the course! I'm sure your lobster noodles were great! - Lee
Happy Chinese new year! Can't think of a more yummy way to celebrate than lobster and noodles!
Watched so many Wok Wednesday videos now that I've only got the seafood ones left. I hate seafood but damnit I'll watch them anyway.
another name for this is Lobster Yee Mein
7:04 Did you intentionally throw that rhyme or did it just come to you on the fly?
reminds me of the crab video.. "this kills the crab" looks delicious :D
Hey Jeremy your recipe is very timely...lobsters in Australia are at all time affordable...since China has blocked our lobster exports from Australia ... suddenly China can’t buy up 90% of our lobsters, causing prices to drop by 50%
nice dish
Woah freaky video with the head moving in the wok after Jeremy executed the live lobster minutes later.
Jeremy.... Kung Hey Fat Choi! Oh man you make everything look so simple and delicious is making me hungry! 😂
Yummy, I never got pass steamed lobster Yet. but 1 day i will do one fried. I know i'am missing out, i'am more of a fan of garlic in sea foods Than ginger , but it does need a touch of ginger
This is another dish from you, I have to try. Look so appetizing and made mu hungry instantly.
I would try to put the Lobster in the freezer , for 1/2 hour and pot in steamers to Cook
Quite a brave dish in this day and age I reckon. I went looking for unfavorable comments but no venom at all.
I freedive and see many lobster but only collect the occasional beast (its easy to get sick of and they are so pretty), and I will give this a try in the summer when they march back inshore. Thanks for the recipe. ☺👍
Had a couple of comments about the lobster, but nothing terrible. It would be great with a freshly caught lobster! - Lee
@@SchoolofWok Yes I can see five in an hour, sime enormous, but only take one or two a year. I spearfish and there is less guilt involved with that given lobsters old age. Thanks again.
good contents
I hope you keep update :)
Did that lobster still move?
Yes, lobsters and crabs both still move after dying because of nerve reflexes - Lee
Happy Chinese New Year To You. But i Don't Like To See You Cut Live Lobsters. I Feel Sad.❤❤❤
It does not seem dead to me still moving..
I must admit that it was hard to watch that... :-(
A Chinese guy with British accent is disturbing, I just lost my appetite! lol
Watching you kill a live creature for 'entertainment' was appalling. I will never watch you again. "UNSUBSCRIBE"
He literally showed you the most humane way to kill it. In other cases the lobster is boiled alive which is a much more ‘inhumane’ way to kill it. Also this is not just for entertainment it’s an education into someone else’s culture so don’t be ignorant. Unless you are a vegan you have no right to be offended when every time you eat meat you are eating something that was killed.
Would you rather he boiled it alive...that s more cruel really we need to know how to kill it sadly...if we want to eat it at home
I was born in year of the monkey 🐒 haha
Haha, I was born in the year of the pig. Very fitting for myself hahaha - Lee
