Maybe the rear tire was out of balance. You can see the rear tire spinning unevenly and causing vibrations throughout the bike as he speeds it up at 0:40.
Good observation. I think the track may have been a bit over prepped as well. Thanks for the feedback. Please subscribe and have a friend do the same. Thanks!
@@cycledrag Yeah, the Harley's do a good burnout, they leak oil on the track, then roll into that puddle of straight 60 weight, then hammer the the throttle. That's burnt oil smoke, not rubber. You'd think Harley's were fast, with pistons the size of manhole covers...Lol.
Motopsycho!!!! Zero fucks given, well done CD & terry
You have some of the best footage of bike drag racing on TH-cam. But I must admit, it seems that many of the drivers don't show you respect.
Thank you! It's ok they will catch on that exposure is what sponsors want! Most are very cool and accommodating.
Great entertainment channel
You get it all first hand

Did the tyre shred on the carbon sharp tail piece as the tyre expanded at speed? 1:50 looks really tight.
Sure did
@@cycledrag Thanks for the reply and the video 👍
@@martinlong8739You are quite welcome. Check out the one I just posted from the shop where it was built
The Harley stood about as much chance at winning, as an Amish buggy with a sick horse pulling it. Why waste money building an obsolete 1903 design ?
Lol, c'mon now those Harleys can roll on a good pass! The turbo is def more consistent.

@@ricktaylor3748You gotta admit what Jay Turner did this past weekend at 6.18 was pretty impressive. And Tak 's run in Gainesville
@@cycledrag 6.18 is a good pass for -->Pro Stock. How did they manage to put an inline four on a Harley frame ? Lol..
@Chris J.P. Black
With greasy hands, you know how those obsolete HD V-twin engines leak oil. Kinda like the Exxon Valdez.
nothing to see here
His tire. Is rubbing when it stands up, if you watch when he's burning out you can see his fender dragging on the tire poor design
It's close!
WTF happened?
