Extremely atmospheric, perfect setting for either a Bronte novel or werewolf/vampire film. Another hairy climb, Im sat here with bated breath. Good video, thanks boys
Dan👍👍 I really don't know how you guys muster enough energy to put up with all the wet and windy conditions there in England, it would drive me crazy. Of course living in a desert has its downfalls as well, dry and scorching for months on end here and plenty of wind to boot. I guess it's what you get used to in the end. Spectacular scenery there captured well as always. Nice to have Warren along as always, perfect company on these trips. Thanks for the video once again, very enjoyable. Take care.
A rather exceptional vlog this one Dan. I somehow think that the misty wet squelchy atmosphere at the Church added immensely to the feeling of the moment as compared to sunny dry conditions. You both must've enjoyed this oart of the hike. Bushyboy Oz.
G'day Dan, Warren, you mountain goats at it again, still dunno how you do it with a large full pack on. Anyway, mighty nice walk, especially with all the variety .... and always with a sense of humor. Cheers Duke.
Thanks mate. Cracking part of the country. The packs aren't too heavy.. well mine isn't! I always keep it under 18kg if possible. although it gets harder in the winter. Cheers Duke 👍
It is some place eh Dan - and well done for catching it at a quiet moment! I went for the first time last month and despite being a schoolday it was like Piccadilly Bastad Circus in there 😅 Great vid 👍
Brilliant camp, great to kust get out there. One of my very first car camps was along the Roaches road, clagged out when i woke up, but i did the figure of 8 hike to Luds church and back. Would love to see the views on a good day.
Brilliant video as always next time your in the Staffs Moorlands/Peakdistrict give me a holla I’ll look after you I’m only in Leek lol keep up the fantastic work both.
Superb video young man. The name of Lud's Church is interesting as King Lud is said to have founded London. It has me wondering where the name came from in the Peaks now.
I enjoyed that, thank you. I just recently bought the Robens Chaser 2 (I originally ordered the Chaser 1 but there was a stock mixup and they only had the 2 left) so I thought why not - a bit extra space... I used it for the first time last weekend on the Saturday night and my friend and I both woke up to find out tens frozen! But I noticed there was a lot of condensation in mine, did you get that with yours?
@100thiswilldo occasionally I get some condensation, but not often. I usually sleep with the inner cracked open a bit to let some of my warm air out. And if it's nice weather I have the ends open for better air flow.
Great video as usual! Loving the Insta360 shots. How are you getting on with the Qezer? Noted that the compression sack isn't waterproof. Mine held warmth nicely with temps just touching zero the other night, now wondering if below zero is a gamble at all?
I think it would be good down to around -2 or -3 possibly more. It's a trust thing with bags I feel. I've used that one for almost a year now. And it's not put a foot wrong so far. I'm not what the coldest temperature I've slept in with it is. But in and around freezing I guess.
Lud's Church was amazing. Thank You for another great video.
It really is! I was glad to have seen it. And not full of people too was lucky I think.

What an awesome trip. That church looks amazing
@danozeman26 thanks mate, 😊 the church was awesome! I think we were fortunate to visit in the morning as it was quiet. I've heard it can be busy.

Yeah, the wet can be tiresome at times. but we book these things in advance, and you get what you get. You're right though, you just get used to it.
Loved that...
Thanks mate 👍
pretty wonderful video. Thanks.
Thank you 😊
Brilliant video as always. Loved the church, you looked like one of the borrowers. Looked a great adventure.

What an excellent trip we had mate - and I love your video. So good. I had forgotten how damp and atmospheric the day started. Cheers, Warren
It was awesome mate. Really fun!
Looked like a cracking time out Dan you captured some good footage mate I might have to get one of them camera's atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Cheers Jimmy 👍
The 360 camera is a pain to edit. Doubles the editing time. Great results but a right faff.
@CampLifeBushcraft thanks Dan I'll rethink about getting one now 🤣
Must say that 360 camera gets some great angles 👍
It does.. but it's such a b0ll ache to edit!!
Dang. Wow! Cheers from the South Carolina Lowcountry (USA)
Great job on the video 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Brilliant camp, great to kust get out there.

Thanks Janet. It's a lovely place. I really liked the atmospheric weather.

So, the pie & custard was yesterday on Chrome Hill from the awesome Mr Linley 360. Was the sleeping bag damp ?
It wasn't damp. I was glad to realise there's a thicker layer on the bottom of my bag fortunately.

How do you know where and if you can camp?
Didn’t look comfortable, but sure fun to watch
Made that comment with 10 minutes left. The Luds church ending was epic
It was actually a better night's sleep than the previous night. Even with tge lumpy ground. I think tiredness helps 😁
