Nice vid mate, that Robens tent has a similar look to my Scarp 1, seems to have plenty of porch space too. The s2s quilt looks nice and small when packed up, I'm currently using the s2s spark 2 sleeping bag, which packs to a similar size. Good idea to test your gear out first 👌 especially with a good selection of beers 😊😊 atb Paul 🙏 🏕🏕🏕😁
Yes I totally agree. You see all these pin out points and think they all need to be pegged but as you've used it a few times you realise that you don't. The pin out points are for all the different configuration. It's actually a really good tent
Great vid as always mate, tent looks a belter! Vicki was telling me about the engine house the other day, might have to go up soon! Thinking I might get out and do the saints way in the next couple weeks, when’s your week off?
1) You cant build this tent if you dont have solid ground like here. If you dont use pins, you are *ucked. 2) You cant make a good tension so if there is a wind, its *ucking noisy. I wanted to burn it and jump off the cliff when building it on top of Piton Des Naiges. If you like noise, stupid long setup and a chance, you will not be able to build it at all, this one is for you.
It looks ok, but the Starlight 1 is waaay more robust in storms. I know this as I have one for storm camping. It’s never leaked…ever!
All the best👍🏾🇬🇧
Nice looking tent mate, great video, may have to look in to quilts for the summer😊
Never thought I'd suit a quilt but love them for summer mate

I've spent a few weeks in this tent and I really like it!
It's a bit "advanced" to work with but once you get to know it it's very quick to put up..
