Basically just so upset with the glossier bronzer it’s literally so bad in all aspects: the shimmer, the horrible shade range and weird undertones, and the way they’re ignoring all this and acting like it’s their best product ever

Having Sephora is great but prizes in Hebe and Rossmann are more affordable and you can find things with even better quality.

Herbivore is really sus to me because they claim to be "clean" but they have fragrant essential oils in a lot of their products. Plus, a lot of their products have light-sensitive ingredients, but everything comes in clear glass packaging which almost definitely doesn't protect the ingredients from UV light. It really seems like they prioritized aesthetic over good formulas and product design. Edit: I understand that clean beauty means nothing but I find it so funny that a lot of brands think essential oils are "clean" because they're "natural"
Clean beauty is really subjective. Essential oils aren't seen as "harmful" in terms of clean ingredients... even though there's loads of evidence showing dermatitis from essential oils. I wrote a whole essay on this for my cosmetic chemistry course this month. Basically the FDA doesn't define "clean" or anything adjacent and doesn't have a set list of ingredients that are "clean" so every brand or retailer defines "clean" for themselves. Which is why you'll see like "clean at sephora" products that have ingredients that are on a "dirty list" from a different brand.
They also have come under fire recently for their Bakuchiol Serum. They reformulated and now it contains only 2.27ppm bakuchiol rather than the 1% claimed
Clean beauty doesn’t mean anything. It’s just marketing.

I bought the Power Puff Girls palette for the theme. I didn’t think I’d really use it, but I was obsessed with the show when I was younger. It arrived yesterday and I was blown away by how stunning it is in person. None of the photos really do it justice. It is SO beautiful and I cannot wait to use it now.
See I agree! We needed cloud paint in bronzer shades. We wanted expansion of shades. Not a whole new product. “If it ain’t broke” you know.
At first when I saw the glossier bronzer I thought they were liquid eye shadows and I was so excited. I’m confused how these are suppose to be bronzers? For who?
On the topic of your low buy, I think it would be great if you did a video showing posible dupes for makeup you’ve almost bought that you have in your collection
my personal opinion on the glossier bronzer as a brown girl
i love glossier- i have like all the gen g lipsticks, lipglosses, balm dot coms, highlighters, etc. i’ve loved them for like, so long. i was so so hyped for a bronzer, especially because glossier had my perfect shade in the skin tint so i assumed that the bronzer would probably also compliment my medium skin tone. however, when i saw the photos i was SO dissapointed. firstly, glossier brands itself as a natural brand yet release a glitter bronzer? there’s a big difference between shimmer and glitter. i just can’t imagine how a GLITTERY BRONZER could ever look good on someone. additionally, even if i did want the bronzer in the first place, i wouldn’t be able to purchase it because the shades are literally my skin tone. the darkest shade is RED?? like what were they thinking?? why cant poc just have normal shade ranges, it’s not that difficult to not just cater to yt ppl. also i’m not even gonna lie, the packaging feels a lot like they’re trying to profit off of the 2019 hype for the cloud paint😭 so awkward. will not purchase again from there

The Patrick Ta brow gel is very strong! And it dries extremely fast and your brows aren't moving AT ALL. But you have to do brows before complexion products or you get chunks in your brows

While in Poland video idea that we would probably really like to see: what I packed for the holiday. Angelika always says “this palette is perfect for travelling” and such so I’m curious which products she actually chose to bring
I use the nyx liquid liner. I used the Stila because everyone raved about it but Nyx works great at half the price. I bought a set and a half of Rephr natural hair brushes last year and they are my favorite brushes to use in my collection, they’re so fluffy and light. I also have Colourpop, ELF, and Sigma, but my Rephr are my favorite. I wash all my brushes with baby shampoo and dry them upside down and they’ve held up great
I love the Maybelline eyeliner as well. Both great quality for the price
The nyx one used to be so good but the last THREE I have brought have started leaking after less than a month but I keep buying them bc I never learn 🤧

Benefit brow gel also has a plastic want, it was a short bristle and a long bristle side, the short bristles are a bit more dense and brush out all the hairs and the longer ones are more dispersed for a more spiky look! I personally LOOVE the wand, I just refill the component with got2be glued gel!
I totally bought the Powerpuff eye shadow pallet and & roller ball glosses. I like colourpop and thought colours would just be fun.

I have just bought the glossier solar paint bronzer after seeing some good reviews online and can agree it is NOT shimmery or glittery on the skin, I am over 40 and certainly don't want anything on my face that's going to be glittery, settle into pores or show texture, and I actually really enjoy the look of this tapped into the skin, just natural and sun-kissed!

I try to make sure a majority of my stuff is cruelty free or at least make sure I'm not buying it myself. If I get it in a gift or it's given to me I'll probably try it. Like my mom bought a whole bunch of new stuff from Estee Lauder & Lancome and she bought stuff I might like. And I loved most of the stuff I got. I had my first makeover for a school dance at an Estee Lauder counter at a dept store, and my mom worked a Lancome counter when I was little. Those 2 brands & their fragrances are very attached to my childhood because it's what my mom & grandmother have always used. My mom bought me this one perfume from them a year ago & I wear it alot because its what she wore when I was growing up. I hate that these brands are not completely cruelty-free because they are very reminiscent & special to me.

I’ve only tried morphe brushes, Wayne goss, smith and Sonia g and there’s a huge difference between them. I’ve re homed all my morphe brushes because I am now spoiled and hate them. Lol I love smith and Wayne goss but Sonia g is the absolute best. So soft and perfect for easy quick application.

I was lowkey really upset when I saw the colourpop x powerpuff girls eyeshadow palette for the first time it felt like colourpop were doing the same things over again and the palette was similar to the lizzie McGuire collection and others they've done in the past they need to stop releasing so much makeup and put thought into their collections imo

I like the packaging of the glossier bronzers. I feel like the doe foot would make it easier to control the amount of product as compared to the squeezy tube of cloud paints. But those bronzers are not what anyone wanted. They really made us wait for years only to give us garbage.
You can just buy tatcha from their website :) never had to pay extra tax on them and I’m based in UK

I own both face and eye brushes from Sonia G. and the face brushes are as soft as the real techniques bleu brush collection 👀 I really like them but I also have not bought „cheaper“ brushes like real techniques or zoeva in years so I don’t know how their quality is atm 😅

The colourpop powerfuff palette is cute but I don’t think it’s anything that most frequent makeup buyers don’t already have, so probably don’t buy it. I imagine you already have the shadows in separate palettes. It’s more for if you don’t already have a load of colour palettes on my opinion. I’ve only got 6/7 palettes and I reckon even I have all of the shades except a bright neon green or yellow

honestly my best performing brushes have been from Mac and sigma I wash them all the time with the Mac cleaner and they have lasted for YEARS lot of my morphe and colorpop brushes have frayed and they look jenk after a couple months of weekly washes
my fault ur cruelty free but like sigma is def the best cf brush brand

i don’t collect makeup in the slightest (yes i truly believe i need all 12 blushes leave me alone) but i grabbed the colourpop’s sailor moon palette and blushes because sailor moon was such a huge part of my childhood and still influences me with its aesthetic. first time i ever did something like that.
i wanted to do the same thing w the ppg collab but the more i stared at it…. the less i wanted it. also i really hate that there’s a blue pressed glitter instead of a metallic!!! idk the tones of the colors in the palette don’t look very pretty to me. the blushes look cute but the packaging looks kinda clunky. ppg was almost on the same level of childhood influence as the sm franchise but the colourpop x sailor moon collab was so prettier and with really unique packaging
