I used to make excuses for them in the past thinking they were working on expanding their complexion to my darker sisters, but clearly they're not and that's inexcusable. and putting out some pathetic excuse for eyeshadow like this instead... shame, honestly.
Hourglass really thought that 5 shades in a palette that has the weirdest pan shape so you can't reuse it for $161 was a brilliant idea. As if anyone is going to pay for that when you can get a bigger Pat McGrath or Natasha Denona palette for less. And the weekly releases from brands like ColourPop... am I the only one who's exhausted? Every week is a different nostalgic release of the same palettes they've already done a hundred times with a drawing of dora the explorer or whatever slapped on the cover. I need brands to slow down for a minute and really put a minimum of effort into the releases.

Partly because if you have the money for that, you have the money for Pat Mcgrath palettes and singles and I'd argue that even if it's not the exact selection of colors that you wanted, it's still a much better value and you can still produce really good looks with the color stories that Pat McGrath curates for each palette and quad. So like... what's the point?

off topic but i ended up buying the nabla viper lip plumper on sale after ur last video and i ended up really liking it. i personally just really like the tingling sensation which is one of the reasons i like it, but it also really work! your lips become really red and swollen after 5 mins. so far this is the best lip plumper i have, but the sensation can be really intense
the chanel water blushes are just like the water fresh skin tints, which are their tinted moitsturizers and they don’t smell or seem expired at all, quite the contrary i have one and it’s a rlly nice and dewy skin tint and it’s soooo light but it gives you a perfect glow. the container is the same as the blushes in the vid and it’s like the milk makeup ones so it pumps it all out, and idk about those blushes but i have the chanel cream stick blush and its great and it smells sooooo nice and actually it smells similar to the charlotte tilbury airbrush foundation! but yeah the water blushes are supposed to go with the water fresh skin tints so i wouldn’t use it with like a matte or oil based foundation, basically if you look at the containers the pigment is held in little spheres within the water, it’s some wicked new technology or something, but it’s basically just super hydrating and dewy and natural!!!
You would LOVE the OG cream RCMA foundation. Just use a brush and Pat it in with it. For reference my fav foundations are Charlotte Tilburg (the one you love) and Chanel Ultra Le Teint (very similar to CT I would say a tat better, doesn’t oxidize.) and my third full coverage one is the RCMA that I mentioned. This one is more dewy. It’s like a dewy creamy version of CT’s Airless Flawless.
I feel like Angelika's no buy is like when you try to diet for a week and then you eat like 10 bars of chocolate. Her wishlist is just growing and after the no buy she might spend 3000$ in one shopping spree.
The e.l.f Tove lo lip balm feels nice but it is VERY VERY glittery, which may or may not feel a little drying and gritty depending on how dry your lips are. It's not a single layer glitter, it's within the balm itself. And it's also pretty coconut-y, I think that's what the moisturizing heart is. I didn't read all of the description when I bought it, I just look for the things I'm allergic to lol (´∩｡• ᵕ •｡∩`)
