Girl amen what is with drugstore prices lately?? Like I know they’ve really been stepping up their game and been releasing great product but at this point there’s only a fine line between drug store and prestige products. Make drugstore affordable again!

I saw Kylie Skin and Kylie Beauty vending machines at the airport recently, not just Kylie products in a vending machine, entire pink vending machines with Kylie branding and only Kylie products, and I think that tells me all I need to know about Kylie stuff. Without its artificial exclusivity and scarcity, the brand just has nothing going for it.
If a product has crazy packaging (heavy, unnecessary amount of plastic, etc) it hurts to throw it away and repurchase when im done so i just dont buy those products 🤷♀️

it’s crazy that l’oréal is getting that expensive in the uk. it’s always been expensive here in new zealand, all of the typical drugstore brands that everyone has in the rest of the world is still insanely expensive here. the only brands that are even slightly affordable are wet n wild, revolution and essence, and even then, most things are still over $10 :(

Not related but I just have to say the kosas revealer foundation is LITERALLY MY HOLY GRAILLLL it photographs soooo gooood on me and it lasts all day!!!! And just refreshes itself throughout the day so it looks so yummy on the skin 🎉🎉 and versatile too! You can mattify it down or keep it nice and dewy. Also the shade range is soooo good for someone with brown skin and olive undertones cos many brands do not cater to real true olive tones

I use the Maybelline liquid lipstick each day because as a teacher I need to stay hydrated and caffeinated but I don’t want my lipstick to be rubbed off. It’s amazing. I also have my theater students use them when we perform. They are actually amazing and don’t rub off (better than any luxury).
Girl I work at a sephora and I am telling you that the lawless overnight lip plumping mask is VERY WORTH IT especially in the watermelon the color is cute even on us pale girlies and the formula is the best lip mask at sephora. I never comment but I know you said you were skipping them and Lawless is my favorite lip brand! all of their stuff is good but the lip mask is definitely the highlight
I bought the refy lip buff and it’s really good!! I love that it’s not messy like a normal lip scrub. The formula of the gel absorbs almost instantly though so I put on a lip mask after. I say it’s definitely worth it!
I'm such a tubing mascara junkie, but the Thrive Causmetics mascara just flakes off throughout the day. Yes, it's applies nice and voluminous, and it's easy to take off... however, it flakes SO badly onto the cheeks and into the eyes.
i love these cause i don’t usually pay close attention to most beauty brands new releases so i can actually see what they’re all releasing and see what i might like. plus the “i’m not getting it/i don’t need this/this is boring” helps me think about whether or not i should get it 😂

Yes yes yes to Love Is The Foundation brushes!!! I bought 3* of those It brushes over the years. I’m so happy with them. I managed to buy one the year they released it flat top & then the usual fluffy with the liquid filled handle for my 2nd & 3rd. They’re my two favs for all over the face. One for powder, one for creams/liquids ❤❤❤ Also, cruelty free ftw! F brands for not being fully cruelty free for beauty. 😢

So gimmicky such a money grab . Look we have six products that are all basically the exact same thing with a different name and each a different price tag. It’s garbage and the amount of packaging and garbage because of makeup makes me sick

The industry is so oversaturated with make up, that all new releases are just meh now, and the designer makeup.......... 😂 when you put it on there's no logo on your face, so what's the point in spending £50+ on one make up item.
