      Thank you I really appreciate you tunning in and taking the time to comment. I haven't seen Seth's review yet but I'm gonna check it out right now. I love his channel. I'm really happy for him that his channel has really taken off in popularity recently. He puts a ton of effort and work into it. I really like his passion and his energy. I think he and Kofuzi were the first two running channels that I subscribed to. Have a great day and thanks again!

    Just received my pair of Novablast yesterday! What an interesting feel, initially walking around the house! Love my Hokas and Nikes bit these have such an interesting, bouncy, cushion! If I like these I may look into the Dynablast too!

    Tim, another really informative analysis. 2 questions: did you hear a slap sound due to all that solid rubber, and how does it compare with the saucony Ride 13 or Pegasus 37?

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Tim, you know I didn't notice anything like that although it has a ton of rubber on the outsole it still felt natural to me. I can't speak to the Ride 13. I haven't ran in that shoe but I might have to try it out. The Peg 37 midsole feels softer to me overall but the Dynablast feels a little more natural through my gait. The uppers are so different between the Peg 37 and the Dynablast. Both are lightweight but the Dynablast being Knit material is super soft and very comfortable,. I suspect however that the Peg's upper may last longer. Thanks for watching and taking the time to add to our conversation. I really appreciate it. Have a great day.

    • @timlaporte5231

      Tim, I would really like to hear your take on the Saucony Ride 13. I hear the Power run midsole is terrific.

      I'll check them out next week. I'm excited to take then out. I've heard good things about the 13 and I've been wanting to pick up a pair. If all goes well they should be here by Wednesday or Thursday next week. Have a great day.

    So would you recommend the Dynablast over the Novablast for the same jobs? Thks for the review, I'm contemplating on the Dynablast but some say save the money for the Novablast.

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey great question. I personally like the Novablast because of all the cushion. It's a really smooth ride. The Dynablast is a solid daily trainer, just not as soft under foot. Both work well as a daily trainer but if you want a shoe that gives you a highly cushioned ride the Novablast is a better choice. Have a great day. Thanks for watching and taking the time to ask the question. Tim

    Any particular reason you appear to heel strike on the right and mid foot on the left? Not critical just curious.

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You are very observant 😀. Yes, so late summer I incurred an injury to my left ankle that ultimately led to a knee and hamstring injury. I'm on the downhill side of my recovery process with about 3 weeks left in physical therapy. So over the course of the next few weeks you should see that disappear. For now I'm still favoring that left side and over compensating with my right. Thank for watching and asking the question. I really appreciate it. Have a great day.

    Great review. Side question if you don't mind. I am looking at the Columbia 1/4 zip polos like you are wearing here. I am slender and usually wear a Medium - but if the piece runs a bit large I go with a small. Wondering how you found the sizing - thanks!

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    You heel strike with your right foot and mid-foot strike with your left. The wear patterns must be completely different for each shoe.

    • @RunTall

      I was coming off a serious running injury when I was filming this review. Fortunately I’m back to normal. But for a few months I was heel striking with my right and mid with my left. If you check out any of my recent reviews like the Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit 2, for example, you can definitely see the difference. Hey thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I greatly appreciate it. Thanks again and have a great day.

    Have you ever noticed your left foot is landing on the mid/front of your foot while the right one landing on the heel? Now I am curious if I have the same thing going on when I ran.

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Tomas. Yes definitely. I was recovering from an injury at the time that I filmed this which was altering my foot strike . To help keep me injury free during my Boston Marathon training block I starting working with an online physical therapy group called Netic Health. Is going well! You are welcome to join us on that journey as well. Have a great day. Stay safe! Thanks so much for all of your support!

    I want a shoe which absorb most impact from ground..and my shin bone n knee will be less used..is novablast the shoe which i m looking for?

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thanks for watching and asking the question. Everyone's experience is going to be different. I can say that the Novablast was the most cushioned shoe that I ran in 2020. It's super soft underfoot. They do absorb the impact of your foot strike. I'm not sure how they will feel to run in for your shin and knee. I hope this helps. If you decide to buy them hopefully the retailer will have a good return policy in case they don't do what you need them to do. Have a great day and thanks again for watching.
