Good recap Tim. I also prefer the More v3 over the Invincible. Jury is still out a bit for me on the Invincible as I’ve experienced some post-run knee pain with it the last couple of runs I’ve done in it! Stability has not been an issue with the Invincible for me, though. I don’t have the Bondi or Glycerin (though did NOT like the Glycerin 18!) and still have a ton of life in the Triumph 17 I own. I really want to try the Max Road 5 but am still scouring eBay for a deal on that! Didn’t like the booty style of the 4. Merry Christmas! Do you have a shoe under the tree?? 😁

Tim, that bucket seat feel that you like in the Bondi aggravated the calluses on the sides of my feet and I wore a wide. I'd caution people who are wider in the forefoot. I ran in the Novablast 2, Maxroad 5, & Bondi 7 and I find the Novablast to be the most cushioned among them. It's possible that heavier runners will like the others because a firmer foam might work for them. Does anyone with a wider forefoot have thoughts on the Invincible? That one intrigues me but I'm wary about the width.

Hey thanks. I like the Hoka Gaviota 2 or 3. I like the 2 a little more than the 3 but both are good and offer max support for pronation and cushion. I also like the Asics Gel-Kayano Lite. bought the skechers maxroad 5 becoz of your vid, it's a great shoe to run in especially for heavy fella like myself, but the outsole and midsole last much much much shorter than I expected, the mid food section outsole is almost gone only after around 120km... goodyear doesn't do good enough...

How would you rate the Asics Novablast 2 relative to your best Max cushion shoes? I treat the Asics Novablast 2 more as my max cushion recovery shoes over the Skechers Max Road 5 which I treat as my max cushion daily trainer
The Novablast 2 is definitely a daily trainer that has a lot of cushion. The NB More V3 is the cushion King for me. The Fresh Foam is about as close to cloud like I've experienced. However all that comfort does come at a cost. My legs do feel more tired after a long run in the More V3 than in the Novablast 2. And I prefer the upper on the Novablast 2. The Novablast 2 is definitely on the upper end of cushion. I'm looking forward to this year's version. I understand the Novablast 3 is going to have their FF Blast+ midsole. I got a little taste of that midsole in their Gel-Nimbus 24. Have a great day.

bought the Bondi X and at first was wondering if I made a mistake, but each time I run with it, it gets better and better! I think it might be my favorite shoe now. I will say though that with that carbon plate you have to make sure your form is on point because that energy return can really bang up the muscles and joints, in my experience anyway. Very comfortable shoe overall

They fit about the same in terms of length. I just tried them both on to double check and the Saucony Triumph 19 is slightly longer than the Nike Invincible Run, but not by much. They both have a snug fit across my midfoot.
