I'm still sad that after you defeat Alduin, nothing has changed in terms of dragon attacks. They are still hostile. Would have loved something like a dragon recognizing you and he lands in front of you, greeting you.
Does Odahviing count? He greets you after Alduins defeat and says he doubts the other dragons will give in to Paarthurnaxs peaceful lifestyle so easily
The idea that Paarthurnax put the scales on the shrine is interesting. If he flew there one night, it might explain why Sissel thinks she's seen him in her dreams. Also, we do know he has left the Throat of the World on rare occasions before. According to him, he used to visit Numinex in Dragonsreach from time to time.
Ive got some interesting little details that might interest you 1. I dont know if this is a well known fact. But in the companions, you could ask Athis the reason why he join the companion, he would then say the lines from Indiana jones. HOWEVER, should you ask him again he would mock the player for being too annoying, he will actually notice that the dragonborn ask the same question twice, which he says "to get away from people who ask the same questions twice" or somewhere along that line 2. After joining up with the companions, fighting with vilkas in the yard. You could talk to kodlak and he will say the word "eyes on the horizon" what's interesting is during the quest proving honor. A contradicting statement is muttered by Farkas on dustman cairn "eyes on the prey, not the horizon" this is a little nod to Farkas wolfish personality and Kodlak's wisdom where he see fit that Sovngarde would be his home. 3. You could stumble upon Kodlak and Torvar talking about which weapon they like to use. Kodlak said that in his younger years he likes to use a bigger weapon but now he have a hard time lifting a greatsword, which then he says he still love to bludgeon someone with a hammer. Well if you check out the living quarters on his room would be a steel warhammer. It doesnt end there, when you return from gathering glenmoril witches head Kodlak will die while holding the same steel warhammer. The conversation from Torvar foreshadows how Kodlaks fighting years are behind him (too frail to wield a warhammer) and he will not survive the companions questline. Hope you take notice.
I agree with "eyes on the horizon" being about Kodlak thinking of Sovngarde, but I think that "eyes on the prey" is more about focusing on the task in front of you (lest the prey (or task) get away from you, or even hurt you), more than any wolfishness. (Beyond the choice of analogy.)

Dragon: Your prayers have been answered, Atmorans! The Falmer race is now extinct. Ysgramor: Thank you my lor- wait- the entire... extinct??? All of them??? Dragon: You asked us to "Kill the snow elves", did you not? Ysgramor:
It would make sense, the Nords worshipped the dragons, the dragons were still in charge, when the elves attacked Sarthaal, it disrupted the dragon’s servants and work basically, and maybe the dragons wanted The Eye Of Magnus, Dragons do meddle in magic, so they maybe worked together to take over Skyrim and then the Dragon Cult rose, then the war against dragons and the cult, and the Eye was forgotten, but the Nords must of had help from dragons during the battle against falmer first… 500 people killing all elves? Hmmm seems exaggerated, and exactly what one side would write about the other, and they did build tons of temples to worship dragons in all over after they took over Skyrim. It’s dragon magic that keeps Draugr slowly feeding their life to the high Priest, just like a Dragonborn absorbs the soul of a dragon, a dragon priest can learn magic taught to them by dragons on how to absorb the life of others… it’s why few know this power, dragonborns, very high Priests, the graybeards and dragons themselves know how to do it.. The dragons were always in charge and they liked their slaves... Dragons probably stayed in Atmora at first, ruling over Men, that’s why Elves barely mention them? (Idk if elves or Falmer ever mention dragons as a problem) who then came to Skyrim from Atmora after they made a deal to take over Skyrim for them and the Nords and wipe the elves out, something only a ruthless dragon army could and would do…. Maybe 🤷🏽♂️
@@RSAgility Given the Staff of Magnus was being wielded by Morokei, a dragon priest, I think you're right that the dragons or at least the dragon priests were interested in the eye of Magnus.
I find it important to point out that you don’t have to be Dragonborn to use the Thu’um. Miraak is the confirmed first Dragonborn. I find it more likely, instead, that the dragons simply taught Ysgramor the Thu’um, like the Greybeards did Ulfric Stormcloak.
@@obi-wan-jacobi840 he did, but they were not the first mortals to be able to use the Thu’um; the dragon priests were, and were given the ability to do so by their dragon overlords (it’s most likely they were taught by the dragons as opposed to being made Dragonborns but the lore does not specify, and we don’t know if Miraak was the first dragon priest, as well).
@@obi-wan-jacobi840 Given we can find Draugr who use the Thu'um in tombs protecting dragon priests, to me it's clear that the first humans to use shouts were actually elevated servants of the dragons, not warriors blessed by Kyne to fight them. Paarthurnax may still have been involved with teaching the first humans to use the Thu'um, but it wasn't for benevolent reasons. It would also explain why Draugr only ever seem to use Unrelenting Force or Disarm shout (if I remember right). The dragons likely taught their servants just enough to give them an edge over mutual enemies, but not enough to contend with their masters. That's likely one of the reasons Dragonrend was such a game changer.
About the fourth spot, the dragon scales could be from Paarthurnax, I remember that in Rorikstead near the shrine is this girl named Sissel and she said this: "I had a dream that there was a good dragon. He was old and gray, but he wasn't scary." This can mean something, maybe it was not a dream, and she saw Paarthurnax near the shrine, just a theory :D
The problem is parhanax isn't gray he's green and what about durnaver or the dragon we trap in dragons reach both were freaindly after stopping them by strength and wits whose to say there couldn't be another
I mean, we already had the 'dragonbreaks' and mercurial Elder Scrolls themselves, which resolve all the potential endings for open-ended stories, so it seems only fitting to have an entire race who can create still more solutions just in case. Although, the true genius was to embed hints at a still never-observed female version of that ultimate get-out-of-jail-free card who fills in all the plot holes we haven't even thought of yet but could potentially arise if anyone examines the lore too closely.
12:55 "It doesn't make sense that he risked himself to so much exposure by flying to this WIDE OPEN shrine and leaving an offering." Except, he has done it in the past. Remember Numinex? Paarthunax himself said he visited him from time to time in Dragonsreach...which is in a CITY. Him visiting a shrine in the middle of nowhere is more than plausible.
Aannndd... If im not mistaken, there is an invisibility shout in the game so... It makes sense that the ancient wise great master of the thu'm would know that shout and could sneak out at night and i dunno.... Pray or show respect to his father
@@crimsonlord525 I was thinking the same, Paarthurnax is clearly, like, really really wise and ancient, he surely knows some tricks, invisibility shouts sound pretty posible
"Night of Tears" explains the Eye of Magnus is the reason for the attack. A Dragon Word Wall *on top of the tomb* would suggest Ysgramor was Dragonborn/Dragon Priest
@@nomclippin4730 I'm curious to know what your reasoning for saying no. Seems like you just want to disagree for no reason. As for the OP yeah, I can see that as a possibility, but until there's proof one way or the other we will never know for sure.
I realized something about the fourth fact regarding the dragon scales at the Akatosh shrine. Nate mentioned that Paarthurnax is the only dragon that's been around since the dragons disappeared, and therefore is the most likely candidate for the source of those scales. However, that would mean risking exposing his existence by flying to that open spot close to a settlement - Rorikstead. Well, may I remind, that we *do* have an instance of someone in Rorikstead mentioning Paarthurnax, albeit vaguely. Sissel - one of Lemkil's daughters - mentions she had a dream of an old and gray dragon who "wasn't scary". Perhaps it's possible that Paarthurnax *did* risk a trip to the shrine at least a little bit before the game takes place, and Sissel managed to see him during the night, although believing that it was just a dream.
Arngeir tells us that Kynareth first gave humans the gift of the Voice. So, Kynareth must also be a dragon then, as the Voice is in fact dragon speech. Talos was also dragonborn and is said to have ascended to become the leader of the other eight divines. I'm getting the impression that all the Aedra are in fact dragons.
Dragons are shards of Akatosh's Soul, hence why they call him Bormahu, or Father. Kynareth is a Divine, she doesn't need to be a dragon to teach humans how to Shout, especially considering Paarthurnax helped teach humans to Shout.
@@Mr-Trox but Partysnax is a dragon so Ofcourse he could teach people. What’s makes Kynareth so special that out of all the other aedra, she has the power to gift the thuum like akatosh a dragon god. I’m not saying she’s a dragon but it’s strange
@@theboy1625 Any of them could have, it's Kyne who took mercy on Man and gave them the gift. Akatosh didn't care about Man until Saint Alessia and Shor/Lorkhan, the God of Man, was dead.
Akatosh is *THE* dragon all others are lesser dragons created by akatosh after his own image and alduin was his first creation, I suppose it's comparable to God, angels and Lucifer in particular but my point is shouting is ultimately a divine power/aedra power so I see no reason why any divine couldn't replicate that power without being a dragon, Talos was indeed a dragonborn so it's reasonable to think his soul had a spark of divinity which is how he became a divine
The lore you put out has some strange power... Whenever I watch I'm like, "Pssshhhh, I'm never going to remember this!" but then a few weeks later, I sound like a lunatic when explaining from the beginning of recorded history of Tamriel to the current events of Skyrim.
I mean, that's not even the whole story. For all we know, who's to say that it wasn't a Nord who instigated something in the first place? A Snow Elf wouldn't say "hey, let's attack Saarthal" for no reason
People definitely knew that dragons had existed, I mean the Jarl of Whiterun has a dragon skull in his palace and the story of dragonsreach in general was always considered historical. It was the dragon war that was only thought to be a myth, not the dragons themselves (Farengar says essentially this when asked about it)
Also I believe with enough of the shit going on in the world at that time, more people would rather wishfully think the dragons were completely extinct. Civil War, Thalmor, I don't want to add dragons to the list if I lived in Tamriel.
Well if you think about it in our world multiple different groups of people and civilisations have documented seeing dragons and have similar depictions of dragons, yet even after none of those people had contact with each other at the time and all of them say dragons existed. We don’t believe they do or very little people do because well seeing is believing.🤷♂️
This is why I don’t understand why Whiterun guards say „they returned for the first time since forever”. I mean, they live under dragon’s skull. Forever isn’t that long so. Forever is as long as old is Dragonsreach. 😂
@@Buli0n To be fair Dragonsreach and the reign of Olaf One-Eye is about 4000 years old. It would be like if woolly mammoths started appearing out of nowhere today. Sure, it wasn't literally forever ago, but it probably does feel like forever.
I never really thought about Dwarves and Dragons existing at the same time before and now I'm wondering: what was the Dwarves' opinion on the Thu'um? The Dwarves were all about tonal magic, the creation of seemingly impossible effects through the use of sound. Did they respect the power of the Thu'um as a sort of naturally existing tonal magic, or did they look down on it as a sort of raw/imperfect application?
Honestly, considering the Dov are pieces of Akatosh, the Dwarves probably saw the sheer control and power of Shouts as something for their Tonal Magic to strive to succeed, as it was likely inferior in one-on-one comparisons.
As far as the dragon scales: I've come across draugr with dragonbone weapons, so it could've been a religious type adventurer who found dragon scales in a crypt and decided to offer it to akatosh
I do have a bit of a mystery - one that I literally thought of as I was watching this video. Why are Paarthurnax and Durnehviir the only dragons that are visually old? Could it be possible that denying or being denied their nature (that of conquerors and rulers) somehow changed them? Why do no other dragons seem to age? I get that Alduin had to raise most of them from the dead, but literally none of them look old.
i think you may've answered your own question. Paarthurnax and Durnevir have lived continuously for thousands of years, whereas the others were killed in the first era and brought back just now. There's no aging when you don't occupy a physical body.
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever ran into maiq in Skyrim and I’ve done a lot of playthrough a. Saw him a ton in oblivion but never managed to find him in Skyrim which is wild as much as I’ve played this game

From what I understand; many innocent lives were slaughtered in Sarthaal. Many men, women, and children; many noncombatants dying at the end of a sword. Ysgramor wanted the Snow Elves to know the pain of the Nords. The problem was; the Snow Elves were an empire. They weren't familiar with the concept of feeling defenseless like the people of Sarthaal. For the Snow Elves to know the pain felt by Sarthaal, Ysgramor sought to treat them as they treated Sarthaal; slaughter all without any mercy. It's a very simple concept, really; and befits the very logic of a true Nord.
Or a massive fleet of flying dragons inside a massive storm following them behind their ships? Like some epic end of the world event for Falmer? Who are watching this from the shore like…. “Oops”
As a derg myself, I do find it annoying that one can't just go to the local market without everyone freaking out. At least the carriage driver and their horse are more forgiving.
I’ve always suspected that ysgramors army was actually entirely made up of dragons which is why the elves went underground with the dwarves because the dragons couldn’t get there
From what we know about the Nords revolt against the dragons there were a few dragons who betrayed alduin and helped the nords just like parthurnax. The one in blackreach could have gone there to hide from him.
Honor cpapn actually be interpretted many different ways as honor is either a great respect or high esteem. Or it is the adherence to what is right or to a conventional standard of conduct.
My personal favorite moment happens of you try to use Bend Will on the dragon being revived by Alduin. The two of them have a chat in Dovazhul and insult the notion of you identifying as a dragon by being dragonborn. Alduin (and by extension, all dragons and dragonborn individuals) are demigods. Firstborn of Akatosh etc. Never leave a child to take vengeance. Happens in gangs, only makes sense that the Nords would do likewise.
Fun fact by the time of Skyrim, the dragons had only really been threatened for a couple of hundred years. There are elves alive who would have heard of dragon sightings. And those dragon symbols on Nordic tombs are actually Akaviri.

Another thing that could confirm Ysgramor as part of the Dragoncult, there’s a Dragon Priest Dagger in his tomb. That dagger was one of the reasons I replayed the Companions Questline on a future playthrough, at least until I discovered Folgunthur and the Dragon Cult quest.
Maybe the greybeards leave some of Paarunthax's scales evert year or so to honor Akantosh. Since Paarunthax cannot go down himself for risk of the blades or just being seen in general.
Nate's voice is relaxing, yet it still keeps you intrigued and doesn't drone on. It's amazing, he should do a Skyrim documentary or narrate his gameplay. It would be something to see!👌
I think it was because of unused content suggesting Rorikstead was at one point suppose to have more of interest in that there was some time of time fuckery going on, the scales could have been an offering to the god of time to release the tome from it's curse or maybe even have been the offering to start it to begin with.

An interesting note on that line in "Mysterious Akavir," It sounds much like the line in Shakespeare's King Henry VI, Part 2, Act IV, Scene 2. "The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers".
I suspect that a Greybeard placed one of Partha's scales there on his behalf. Between their devotion, honor and loyalty I can totally see that happening and easily being missed by the people at the base of the mountain.

My theory for the dragon scales being at the akatosh shrine is that they are from the warriors you see fighting dragons during the sequence shown from the elder scroll of how they sealed alduin. That means they had been held onto for generations and even placed at that shrine when it was first erected many years in the past long forgotten by all but the scroll and parthunax
Nate, I’m not sure if this has been mentioned already but I thought it might be worth some research. While looking at the artwork in the stone walls of dwarves ruins there are circles with a dot in the middle (an eye?) with lines coming from the center (tentacles?) Could this be a depiction of Hermaeus Mora from the dwarves?
you could be right because towards the ending of septimus signus's quest, transmunding the mundane, the box in septimus's outpost will open by using the blood of orc, wood elf, high elf, dark elf, and falmer, once it opens, we will find a book called the oghma infinium which is hermaeus mora's daedric artifact
The Oghma Infinium is locked up in a Dwemer container and one of Mora's Black Books is in a Dwemer Ruin on Solstheim. The Dwemer most definitely made contact with Hermaeus Mora and would've propably depicted that contact.
In Rorikstead there's this girl called Sissel who when speaked to will say about a dream she has of a good dragon. "I had a dream that there was a good dragon. He was old and gray, but he wasn't scary." I take that as confirmation that Paarthurnax does indeed traveled to Rorikstead's shrine of Akatosh and placed those dragon scales there himself. Sissel wasn't dreaming... She actually saw him.
Hi Nate! You mentioned the Dragons might have come from the continent Akavir, and the name of the Dragon mentioned sounded similar to Akintosh. Well, Akavir also sounds similar to Akintoah, which would further the theory that the dragon/ruler is Akintosh. I was also fascinated with Akavir, and was wondering (and requesting) that you make a “Five Things You May Not Have Know About...” about Nirn, and the continents in Nirn. The games only take place in Tamriel, and I think it would be cool to hear about other places in Nirn. That’s all! Love the content! Have a good day!
I still remember when dragons would scare the shit out of me in this game. I thought they were so OP and i would run everytime i seen one. lol. Just seeing that one flying around the mountain top NW of Whiterun would make me panic haha. I would give up just about anything to be able to go back to that time of playing. Just forget the game and start all over. Skyrim was the first game i ever become hardcore obsessed with and it was great then.
i'll never forget the second dragon i ever fought (after murmulnr). it was on my way up the mountain to see the greybeards- mfer BEAT MY ASS, threw me off the mountain (dead) did the CHOMP on me and shook me (dead) burnt me to a crisp (dead) threw me off the mountain again, etc. freaked me out so badly i had to stop playing for a week. good times, good times...
i really hope Elder Scrolls 6 ends up taking place in Akavir. It could be a really cool way to make a bigger game than Skyrim while also giving us somewhere new to explore. Of course we can go back to old places like Hammerfell or Morrowind but we’ve been there before, extensively. Hurts to know we won’t get 6 for a few more years
@@cjvaye99 im not against them going back to Hammerfell and High Rock considering it’s been almost 25 years since Daggerfall. It’d be honestly amazing to see if they did a reimagining of Daggerfall almost being able to go between provinces and having multiple endings again depending on your choices I still think Akavir would be an awesome location as it’s the one we know the smallest amount of while seemingly making a way to reincorporate Dragons into elder scrolls as they are by far one of the best inclusions Skyrim had to offer with how little we know of the game, they can do just about anything with it and i’ll be excited
From what elder scrolls online tells us the horns made from dragon’s horn are used by dragon slayers to force the dragon to land, just like the dragonrend shout
13:10 To me, I see some peasant out in the woods in the days before, or even on the day the game starts, seeing a dragon burst free and maybe lose some scales as it did so. The peasant being terrified of what he witnessed lays out the scales as his ancestors did to prevent the beast from returning and eating him.
18:20 Yngol can also appear as a spectral dragon priest at high levels, and thats even in vanilla (suggesting he was either a dragon priest himself or an aspiring one at the time of his death, as his specter bares no mask and unlike the jailer he has no backstory as to why he wouldn't have one)
Ysgramor could also have been a powerful enough Dragonborn that he actually scared the dragons and that's why they didn't start ruling in Skyrim until he died. It wouldn't explain his brutality towards the Snow Elf Innocents, but it's a theory.
Here's something I heard of sometime ago involving the Tsaesci and the dragons, in which they had devoured all of the red dragons on akavir long ago. So by that logic would that mean that red dragons like Nafaalilargus and Odahviing are the last of their kind?
Alduin is known as an aspect of Akatosh, with Akatosh being the birth of the world, Auriel being its preservation, and Alduin being its inevitable end. Could Akatosh's invasion of Tamriel refer to Alduin? I may be completely off here.
@@ethanwilliams4559 Or maybe they didn't want the Nords to find the Eye of Magnus, which they had stowed away long ago, as being too dangerous to use? Lots of possibilities. And remember, we only hear from the winners, the Nords, in the lore; if the Snow Elves had an actual grievence, I'm sure Ysgramor wasn't about to let anybody know about it.
Now, Parthuurnax's horn is interesting indeed... I have noticed he is missing that part, but I always assumed that he was missing it as a result from a battle before the alligance with Jurgen and the founding of the way of the voice. I mean... It is stated a lot in the lore how the dragons existed long before the humans. And also about the shrine in Rorikstead - if you speak to Sissel, one of the children in the town, she mention that she have had dreams about a dragon. This fact can give a lot of speculations and theories going. :) And the ninth dragon preist mask "Kohnariik" can strengthen the theory about Ysgramor being a dragon priest, it does translate into "warlord" but we really have nothing that suggests that. I gave this a little thought as I watched this video. :)
Well, Isgramor's actions aren't that unusual, or extreme when you consider what caused them. Sarthaal was a nordic settlement, and likely the majority of it's population were not warriors. Meaning Isgramor was basically doing to the snow elves what they had already done to the nords. And Sarthaal wasn't the only settlement attacked by the elves, it was essentially the elves trying to wipe out the nords of Skyrim. In Isgramor's view, it was either wipe out the snow elves, or live with the danger of them attacking again.
With regards to Saarthal and whether Ysgramor was a dragon priest. My personal dragon theory - I think the Nords were sent to Skyrim by their dragon masters to find and secure the artifact known as the Eye of Magnus (Dragons could probably sense it's Aedric power naturally similar to the way that wizard knew of it using the oculury), under the pretense that they were just settlers to keep the snow elves off their backs. When the snow elves realized what the Nords had found they attacked out of panic of such a powerful dangerous artifact being misused or because coveted it for themselves. Ysgramor escaped and reported to the Dragons about the Eye and then was sent back with a big army along with Dragon's to genocide the elves. The Nords retook Saarthal but the Dragons could probably recognize the Eye as an Artifact of another Aedra (Magnus) and thus a potential threat to them or all of Mundus perhaps. So they buried its existence and commanded it to be hidden away.

Would have loved something like a dragon recognizing you and he lands in front of you, greeting you.
Good thing mods exists I guess-
I like to think they do this because of their nature, what better way to go out than fighting a mighty dragon born, they'll have it no other way
Does Odahviing count? He greets you after Alduins defeat and says he doubts the other dragons will give in to Paarthurnaxs peaceful lifestyle so easily
More dragon bones for me.
odahviing explains why when you return to the throat of the world after sovnguard
The idea that Paarthurnax put the scales on the shrine is interesting. If he flew there one night, it might explain why Sissel thinks she's seen him in her dreams. Also, we do know he has left the Throat of the World on rare occasions before. According to him, he used to visit Numinex in Dragonsreach from time to time.
it's also possible that it was placed there by one of the grey beards on a sort of proving mission
Ive got some interesting little details that might interest you
1. I dont know if this is a well known fact. But in the companions, you could ask Athis the reason why he join the companion, he would then say the lines from Indiana jones. HOWEVER, should you ask him again he would mock the player for being too annoying, he will actually notice that the dragonborn ask the same question twice, which he says "to get away from people who ask the same questions twice" or somewhere along that line
I did not notice nor know any of those, guess I'm still learning

@@meonkrishnanan5920 guess I must point out this too,

I agree with "eyes on the horizon" being about Kodlak thinking of Sovngarde, but I think that "eyes on the prey" is more about focusing on the task in front of you (lest the prey (or task) get away from you, or even hurt you), more than any wolfishness. (Beyond the choice of analogy.)

It would make sense, the Nords worshipped the dragons, the dragons were still in charge, when the elves attacked Sarthaal, it disrupted the dragon’s servants and work basically, and maybe the dragons wanted The Eye Of Magnus, Dragons do meddle in magic, so they maybe worked together to take over Skyrim and then the Dragon Cult rose, then the war against dragons and the cult, and the Eye was forgotten, but the Nords must of had help from dragons during the battle against falmer first…
500 people killing all elves?
(Idk if elves or Falmer ever mention dragons as a problem)
who then came to Skyrim from Atmora after they made a deal to take over Skyrim for them and the Nords and wipe the elves out, something only a ruthless dragon army could and would do….
I thought it was Paarthurnax who first taught the Thu’um to mortals who rebelled against Alduin.
@@zeykriidnd Miraak ain't telling.
Two more facts:
1. Dragons greet each other by saying, "How Y'Alduin?"
2. Dragons weigh a lot because they're covered with scales.

I want to see a mod that allows for random encounters of two dragons sitting around and having a casual conversation.
you know that casual conversations between two dragons sounds like two T-Rex arguing whose meat that is right now?
I mean, we got a taste of what that looks like when we first met paarthurnax, they kinda Shout at each other
About the fourth spot, the dragon scales could be from Paarthurnax, I remember that in Rorikstead near the shrine is this girl named Sissel and she said this: "I had a dream that there was a good dragon.

12:55 "It doesn't make sense that he risked himself to so much exposure by flying to this WIDE OPEN shrine and leaving an offering."
Except, he has done it in the past. Remember Numinex? Paarthunax himself said he visited him from time to time in Dragonsreach...which is in a CITY. Him visiting a shrine in the middle of nowhere is more than plausible.
Also, I thought p'nax could have the grey beards make the offering for him. Heck, maybe Klimmek did it.

Make sense, I've always wondered why would Sissel see dream of Paarthurnax.

"A child's Tamriel Bestiary"
"By Shane gro-Orath (Clever, no? Ha, Ha!)"
I see what you did there you rascal of a dreadric prince of madness
hi hey hello hope you’re doing great today and you’re a beautiful person
(edit)if you kill paarthurnax or cicero we can’t be friends
Yes
It's like killing a feeble old man for having a dark past which he feels regretful for, terrible.
@@atastydonut Like killing Austin Powers in his 60's, after his swinger years.
@@atastydonut Its like killing Hitler when he is in his 90's and he feels bad about it.
@@23Raind not hitler, hitler was killing people he is a dragon it's a human squashing a cockroach or a rat you don't see em crying about it.
"Where do dragons come from?"
Well, when a daddy and mommy love each other very much...wait
I love how he didn't even say anything about the dragons on Ysgramor's helm.... 😂
In Rorikstead there's this girl called Sissel who when speaked to will say about a dream she has of a good dragon.
"I had a dream that there was a good dragon. He was old and gray, but he wasn't scary."
I take that as confirmation that Paarthurnax does indeed traveled to Rorikstead's shrine of Akatosh and placed those dragon scales there himself.
Same
i'll never forget the second dragon i ever fought (after murmulnr). it was on my way up the mountain to see the greybeards- mfer BEAT MY ASS, threw me off the mountain (dead) did the CHOMP on me and shook me (dead) burnt me to a crisp (dead) threw me off the mountain again, etc. freaked me out so badly i had to stop playing for a week. good times, good times...
Bro same I even bought it again to get the same feel wasn’t the same.
I still enjoy fighting them it reminds me how strong I have gotten
Alduin be like "Fetch me their souls!"
Akatosh to the dragonborn "fetch me there souls".
Soul Husks are a nutritional alternative.
i really hope Elder Scrolls 6 ends up taking place in Akavir. It could be a really cool way to make a bigger game than Skyrim while also giving us somewhere new to explore. Of course we can go back to old places like Hammerfell or Morrowind but we’ve been there before, extensively. Hurts to know we won’t get 6 for a few more years
Fudgemuppet did a what if video on TES 6 hammerfell. Its really interesting. Fun watch.
@@cjvaye99 im not against them going back to Hammerfell and High Rock considering it’s been almost 25 years since Daggerfall. It’d be honestly amazing to see if they did a reimagining of Daggerfall almost being able to go between provinces and having multiple endings again depending on your choices
I still think Akavir would be an awesome location as it’s the one we know the smallest amount of while seemingly making a way to reincorporate Dragons into elder scrolls as they are by far one of the best inclusions Skyrim had to offer
with how little we know of the game, they can do just about anything with it and i’ll be excited
Kharjo said it best : "have you ever seen a Dragon's poop, I've never seen a Dragon poop"
Inigo.
Enjoying videos like these. It's like a story ✅😁
Bruh wym it is lmao
Maybe
Alduin is known as an aspect of Akatosh, with Akatosh being the birth of the world, Auriel being its preservation, and Alduin being its inevitable end. Could Akatosh's invasion of Tamriel refer to Alduin? I may be completely off here.
What about Alkosh?
By extension, could it possibly be assumed the snow elves attacked in the first place because of things the dragons and dragon priests were doing?
There's already a lot of lore pointing towards the snow elves wanting the eye of Magnus. I'm actually surprised he didn't mention it.
@@ethanwilliams4559 Or maybe they didn't want the Nords to find the Eye of Magnus, which they had stowed away long ago, as being too dangerous to use? Lots of possibilities. And remember, we only hear from the winners, the Nords, in the lore; if the Snow Elves had an actual grievence, I'm sure Ysgramor wasn't about to let anybody know about it.
isn't there also a kirkbride story about a numidium under sarthal as well?
I can’t even imagine what Nate puts himself through to find similar references across the entire map of Skyrim.
We appreciate you 🙌🏻
Well, Isgramor's actions aren't that unusual, or extreme when you consider what caused them.
Akatosh, The Father Of Dragons - God of Time. He is the one people, the one.
I think it makes so much sense that after Ysgramor ran from Skyrim, he made a deal with the dragons to go back and take out the Snow Elves.
that profile, I enjoy 🏳️🌈
When I’m going thru a lot of shit, the best thing to hear is “hey how’s it going guys it’s Nate here” man does it help 🙏
