great work!
Thank you! Appreciate your kindness 🤝
I learned not to do that in the sun I thought I could be fast haha
I got a good chuckle out of that 😂🤝
Damn. It's 90 outside right
Just starting out and you are correct
Looks better already
No one expains anything about mixing any filler
I have numerous videos in depth on application and use of product
How do you like that welder?? I keep eyeing them at harbor freight
My honest opinion, they’re not bad for what you need them for.
It looks like this has more working time than the all purpose bondo. If I mixed my bondo like that, it would dry too quickly. I have to work super fast and mix smaller batches. Why is that?
It depends a lot on temperature. If you’re working in 70 degree weather and the panel is cold. You will have a few minutes to mess with it. If it’s 100+ degrees outside and the panel is hot. It will cut that time down in half. Another tip is . Spreading it thinly across your mixing board will allow you to have more working time with it. It sets faster if it’s in a big glob. 🤷♂️ hope that helps
What’s the purple stuff your mixing the bondo with?
hardener

Does it really mess with the Bondo if you mix it on cardboard? I never have any luck with it so I'm seeing what I'm doing wrong?
Cardboard does not interfere whatsoever with the bondo, feel free to mix away! Paper and metal boards work well to mix on too.
What’s going on with your filler when your mixing/putting it on? Gets hard too fast or not hard at all? I can definitely help you, just gots to know what’s goin on 🤘👍
@@GregoryThomas well I mix it and it looks great so I start applying it to the car and it starts flaking or coming off like sand I guess you could say. I can lightly rub it and it comes right off even after I leave it alone. It's the Walmart brand but still I am doing something wrong. Seen a video and they were talking about the cardboard talking away from the filler. I seen your video and seen your alot better so why not ask.
Maybe the surface wasn’t clean from sanding paint down prior so it couldn’t adhere? Just a thought but I would try that
Have to agree with Gannon here, sounds as if the surface isn’t prepped well enough as well as the hardener drying the filler too fast. Nothing should be flakey unless it’s drying, goes on smooth like resin in playdoh. Try using less hardener (if ur in a cold area use more, hot use less)
use half the amount of hardener it calls for. it will allow you to take your time, but drying time gets boring after the fact. Work in more hardener as you get comfortable. Also, what the above guys said. @@timothyjohns7079
That’s some hot sh*t
I give it 90 seconds before it’s a brick
Good example
😮
Boy you better hurry up
I did
That's what she said
Thank you!
