Water - 1/4 cup (65ml)
Salt - 1 tsp (5g)
Sugar - 1 tsp (5g)
Butter - 1 tbsp (15g)
Mixed herbs - 1 tsp (5g)
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp (2.5g)
All purpose flour - 1/2 cup (65g)
Rice flour - 2 tbsp (30g)

Absolutely brilliant. I make these with my daughter's and we use different vegetables. Sweet potato, broccoli, turnip, carrot. Instead of herbs we've used chilli powder or flakes, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, ground coriander.

I tried these today, following the recipe exactly. The batter was not thick enough to pipe out and it spread too easily. The greaseproof paper needs to be silicone -treated or greased. It stuck fast to the biscuits. The oven temperature was too low at 120'C and after 15mins the biscuits were still uncooked in the middle.
The taste was fine but I couldn't get the biscuits off the paper. I'll try again, adjust the batter, use greased trays, greased paper, 150'C oven for 20mins. It's good to learn.

Hi even I faced this issue , I used greased paper ,then also it got stucked to paper. You tried after that ?
@@ragaviselvam1715 Yes, I tried greasing the paper but it was still unsatisfactory. I'll try a different recipe altogether, I think.
The lady is no doubt very talented, but in this case it looks more like magic than cooking demo 😜. I feel the variety of potato is critical here. I feel we need to use waxy potatoes.

Those look good. If someone was gluten free. You could probably use gluten free all purpose flour instead of normal.
The kadai method we can see some steam droplets on the lid. Means there is moisture inside those cookies. So can't be stored as long as the oven method one. Good recipe.

I think instead of directly from potato, potato biscuits are made from potato starch in the factory after doing away with the fiber which explains the even flat surface. It seems like they do not use any raising agent either, just baking soda for crispyness. What do you think?

Sun-dried vegetables are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.. If sun drying is not possible then you can use humidifier or oven with lowest temperature.
