Interesting. They look like a homemade baked version of Pringles. They're the only chip I know here (in Canada) that's made from mashed potatoes rather than from sliced ones.
hi junbh2, if you live in Canada we have the Christie brand who makes Potato Thins which I think is very similar to this type. (I think they are also called Good Thins, potato ones) Look them up i think you would enjoy them!

Infinitely healthier, first of all there is no MSG. This just by itself is enough of a reason but they are also not fried in oil which is used over and over again and chemically bleached.

Met this video accidentally (probably after watching French fries thanks to YT), was sceptical at the start - even more at mashed potatoes part, but it really doesn't require any oil (maybe to grease baking sheet only) and have species mixed directly in it so I'm definitely going to try it at least once, thanks! Peel. Microwave with a little water until super soft. Mash with potato masher. Then press thru a seive to have no lumps. Put in a piping bag and put about 1 quarter sized dollop on silpat mats. Flatten down into a circle by placing parchment paper and then press down with a cup into thin rounds. Bake 355°F 8-10 minutes. Leave in oven additional 2-3 to remove the heat. Use a pate knife to gently lift from the silpat mat.
you could also do sour cream and onion and many other flavors you could even do cheddar cheese with a macoroni and cheese powder packet, or chicken, or beef, and also pork with boulion powder.
Wow When you started putting the filling on the tray, I was like "this doesnt look anything like chips", until you flattened them. I never thought you could do that... It's healthy because no preservatives are added and its not fried with seed oils👍

Вкусно получилось, можно добавить свои специи или можно купить специальные добавки (Сыр, краб и бекон) продаются порошковые, но надо искать
