This is a lot like how people don't know the Melee stats for arms helps with distance and overall damage, with the BASHO arms having the highest DPS for melee weapons.
@@A-0602 Yeah, I was like WAIT WHAT? The game does mention melee damage is effected by arms, but I thought melee range is decided only by that stat on the booster?
I have seen a lot of people call the stats you find on the extended stat sheet "hidden", and was very ready to get annoyed at that, but this is ACTUALLY a hidden stat. Thank for the non clickbait, and informative video. With how big the difference can be I'm very surprised it isn't shown, almost makes me think it's an oversight.
what I don't like about the scanning system here is that much like 5th gen AC its dependent on your "camera angle" as the base point of the scan despite being highlighted as a sphere
Subscribing is already paying off well! This is a great video. It's not super important, like you said, but I love to learn about this little things. It's neat. Thanks for sharing. :D
Need head. Thanks for this test. Scanning seems like an anomaly. I saw one post claiming that scan doesnt even scan in a bubble, but rather just your vision cone. I've also noticed that I'm able to target enemies from a longer distance than what my FCS can handle so I do wonder if scanning could actually be useful for long range combat. 🤔
Scanning is definitely in a cone in front of you, or rather, a cone when you press the button, so flicking the camera won't change the scan direction. It's also nice for letting you target enemies that are not initially hostile, like the lasertrap machines in the Honest Brute mission.
I think I recall someone testing system recovery against stagger... Found it to have no effect, and considered it bugged. And I believe the discussion turned toward system recovery correlated with the scan cooldown?

I honestly didn't know about melee distance, I'll have to test that sometime. I find myself defaulting to Basho a lot. Boxiness is Love

Yeah, and it's not like the head has a million stats in the first place. Could easily add another line in a patch if they want.
They finally added the stat part for how long the cooldown for the scan is. It's called "Scan Standby Time"
Certainly ages the video a bit, but this video at least stands as a minor history lesson I guess
@@A-0602 I hope they add a stat part for how fast the projectiles are going
i like the muffled mic sound. makes me think this is a real training video for AC pilots

At least I don't have to constantly manage it like I did in V.
That got annoying real quick.
@@edgargad2941 the camera filter can be real jarring to deal with so I can relate.
It's really weird that they left so much space on the stat screen empty instead of displaying relevant stats like this.
They do show the scan cooldown now, added it in regulation 1.03. The stat is called "Scan Standby Time"
Thanks for the tier list of scan times.
Helpful info! The first of (hopefully many) dives into AC6 mechanics :)

Quite possible. I admit, I've never attempted to scan something behind me

Actually not clickbait vid. Picture me surprised 😮
cooldown is related to system recovery
I think I recall someone testing system recovery against stagger...
Found it to have no effect, and considered it bugged.
And I believe the discussion turned toward system recovery correlated with the scan cooldown?
I looked into it, but I couldn't find any connection between Scan Cooldown and any other stat.
System Recovery is for status effects
ACS recover is Attitude Recover (This is also a mechanical term that you can look up)
@@perilousloki4712 funny how you can find attitude recovery in the extended stat screen and yet people doesn't seem to notice.
VE-44B is king. That energy cost is wack, though. ⚡️
Thanks for the info. Curious as to why they didn't include it for a head stat.
Interesting... good highlight! ^_^
You're making AC6 videos fuck yes
Mmmmm
The Nexus/LR Crest emblem
That's primo stuff
^ Tell me you're an AC veteran without telling me you're an AC veteran. Thanks for noticing.
I'm pretty sure the cooldown is just the same as the Effect Duration?
very epic thank you
