I found the chapters in th-cam.com/users/postUgkxYGamVaHfdHiPlAQaLa7zkwR02OKpGYDU to be very relevant to my project as I embarked on building my first ever structure from the ground up. I especially found this Ryan’s Shed Plans to be of great use when it came to building the roof. I was able to do all the cuts and installation by myself, with a little reference to this Ryan’s Shed Plans.

I have construction experience and let me tell you, you have far exceeded my experience by yourself your first time. The layout for the tiny home was very well thought out. Absolutely great use of space and the solar power is 100% what anyone should do when building a tiny home whether it is mobile or not. Fantastic job 👌🏻 I am now a subscriber. I wish I had the money to build my double loft, french door tiny home because I'd contact you to come help me out if possible lol. 🤜🏻🤛🏻

I've watched dozens of videos of people who built their own tiny homes and they all highly recommend you run a dehumidifier. Otherwise, your work is excellent and I'm sure you'll enjoy living and working in it.

This is a beautiful tiny home. You are a very intelligent, witty, and hard working young man. God bless you David. You can build these for a living, or consult with people to help them design theirs!
Love that you wired it like a real house to gain the experience. Like, however life goes, you may end up in a large stationary house, and either building or heavily renovating it And if you do, this Tiny home can easily still serve as a guesthouse, or RV, or rental, or even house a friend for a bit while they get their feet back under them, without having to have someone stay in your home

His personality is infectious! I am in my 70s, so when I say he is adorable it’s coming from a grandma type. My husband is an architect and has been involved in every aspect of building and construction. This young man is pretty impressive and he’s adorable.
The moment you painted the exterior with black and matched it with wood, there is only one thing I have in mind, it's so cool! It made it look like a high-end tiny house!
I love everything about this. I am also the son of an engineer (mechanical, not electrical though) and did a box truck build a few years back. I also went into it with no skills, learning as I went. It ended up far, far worse than what I see here lol but it was tons of fun. You taught me a few things I hadn't learned yet, in a style that suits my garbage attention span. The cabinets especially. Thanks bro! Just to add to the collective data for anyone reading this considering their own build: -if insulation is needed in areas where space is at premium, aerogel insulation is the highest R factor by volume that exists, but it is pretty expensive. Might be worth it around the wheel well area to save space, would not be worth it on the main walls/ceiling. For car or cargo van dwellers, it's ideal in the window recesses. -pex curve brackets instead of right angle connectors reduce friction and possible failure points. I learned this the hard way. -battery banks on these builds are typically 12v or 24v... converting to 110v will come at some costs of efficiency. Appliances and stuff that are 12v and pull right from the battery bank will save just a smidge of energy. You can even build a tiny gaming pc with a ryzen APU and a 12v pico psu power supply, to avoid the 12v->110v conversion efficiency loss of the inverter and the 110v->12v/5v/3.3v efficiency loss that a PC psu typically has. Similar story with LED lighting, there's a ton of lighting options that natively take 12v input, which both save efficiency loss and eliminates another part that could fail (110v->12v LED driver) -many RV's come with 'cassette style' toilet and blackwater tank. With these, you can remove the blackwater tank from the outside through an easy hatch, no carrying it through the house. Can be dumped in a toilet at a rest stop if needed. Composting toilet is a valid option, but for those who'd rather go the typical tank way... look for a cassette toilet on fb marketplace or ebay or something. You'll only find used ones that are being parted out from RV's though. -tile is heavy af and generally not used, but for anyone who wants to use a small amount for a kitchen backsplash, like the glass mosaic tiles, use silicone as the grout, and either the double sided tape style backing to adhere, or silicone. No cement based thinset or grout... it would crack out the first time you move anywhere. -anywhere there is going to be hot metal near wood, use metal backed fiberglass pipe insulation. It's used on exhaust pipes for on demand heaters. Preventing the wood from reaching ignition temps can make the difference between waking up in the morning or a painful frightening death the night before. I love this build so much. Well done, man. Well done.
It's good to see someone doing so much with next to no construction experience! I'm aspiring to build out my own van/box truck in the future into a mobile home but the big thing that has concerned me is whether or not I'd struggle with all the construction. Seeing you succeed gives me confidence, thank you for sharing your journey with us!
Bro I don’t normally laugh at videos but you had me dying with some of your jokes 🤣 aside from the comedy, the video was super informational and inspiring! So impressive you learned all those skills to build your tiny home!
@@davidmrule , just wonderful David! I ♥this tiny home & you're very funny "big booty babes".😂I even like the fact that kitty made a brief appearance & let's face it "5 yr old David" was adorable. ^_^ It was very entertaining and interesting watching you start with the trailer and make it to this point! Personally I would've wanted a dry toilet but this still works & the fact that you have most everything a small caravan has & yet all of this you built yourself! It really is inspiring and tho it still costs some $$$, I'm honestly amazed at just how much $$$ it costs to BUY basically a "tiny home on wheels" when many are going for $40,000 to $100,000+ and yet you made your own "tiny home on wheels" for a fraction of that. I ♥the wood/cedar & frankly I like the black exterior color with the wood. To me it looks more like a high-end, custom product. And what a nice print/story with the giraffes & volcano, I wondered about it earlier on obviously not knowing the backstory. Anyway, looking forward to the next video and hopefully 2023 will be a much better year for all of us!
Hey David, thank you so much for taking us along and sharing this experience with you. Your jokes and your editing made this a pleasant video, or let's say movie, to watch. I'm so glad that the first video did so well, so you are already making profit. God bless!
This is amazing! Im in construction and to see someone with no experience do this makes me really happy cause truthfully anyone who puts there mind to it can also this this. Keep up the great work!
He has to have some experience. His knowledge of how things work in a lot of these areas would be almost impossible for a layperson to just figure out willy nilly.
Well done, loved watching your tiny house come together. Thanks for the reminder I must put up my fairy lights. Disappointed New Zealand wasn’t on the wall feature. You will have to add it. 21:48
Wow, this suburban vacation cottage video is truly a masterpiece! 🏡💡 Every little corner of the house reflects special care and creativity. I am especially impressed with how you have utilized every small space to create a comfortable and convenient living space. From the furniture to the kitchen and bathroom corners, everything is designed with intelligence and space saving in mind.
the more I watch this guy the more i like him! he's got such "himbo but actually really smart" energy, it's super cute. also it's really inspiring to watch him figure things out one by one even though i have no intention of doing anything with this sense of inspiration
Hey dude! I am from Bangladesh. I saw your previous video about this Tiny home. You was making the frame and others stuffs. Believe me or not , I was waiting for this to be done. Today you have done it. Yeah you have made it. You have completed your dream. I, myself also dream for having this kind of life. But as being an ordinary Asian kid, it won't be possible here. Mass population, peoples mentality, ability to afford, lands for camping etc.. are the main obstacles. But seeing you doing this is another level of satisfaction. Best of luck.
Aww thanks so much for the support! And I bet, I'm definitely fortunate having grown up where I did. I'm currently in southeast asia and there's plenty of areas around here where tiny homes wouldn't work. Glad you liked it!
Try doing it on a boat/ship near Sundoorbons. You can connect more boats or upper levels as you get more money. I think someone did something similar and made it into an Airbnb, but I forgot the name.
Great work and video David.. Got a safety suggestion for your solar system.. Install a breaker on input to solar controller from solar planels.. match the capacity of the breaker to max output of solar panels.. Also put one on input to inverter from the battery matching the capacity to max current draw of inverter.. This will enable you to isolate the panels and the inverter if when working on your system.
Awesome job! One thing, if you’re going to move around a lot, please check the wheel bearings on the trailer. These are often overlooked and can be a disaster if they fail.
From musician to TH-camr, this is amazing! I've stayed in a tiny house with my fam before, so seeing one actually being created is awesome! Can't wait to see your channel grow!
Honestly, I don't know why its YOUR channel, but its really making me want to be more creative and go outside my boundaries, like your initiative to this project started on. Just a wing it and learn as you go sort of mentality. I might be typing this in the wrong context since this is just one of MANY, many DIY builds and projects- But your tiny home build is a real breath of fresh air and positivity. Really giving me some initiative to do more with my time. Thanks man, I'm Subscribed.
Dear David Rule, I think your off-grid tiny home looks absolutely fantastic, I think if people are going to make ant comments, it's really because they actually like it if not love it as I do, this means you can travel all over the country side, have a blast and as always stay safe, safe travels take care all the very best, well done beautiful awesome home I love it 🙏❤😘💜❤
I first watched the original build video right after it came out and was immediately obsessed with tiny home and vanlife videos and now 7 months later I have a plan to make my dreams a reality! Thanks man
This is entertaining, informative and motivating. You probably could host a series about ppl who build their own homes all over...but for real this is incredible
This is what I'm talking about! Tiny homes run up to 200,000. They started out @15,000. Thank you so much! We'll never have a tiny home but hopefully others will see this & realize you don't have to spend 50,000.
I think people prey on some folks inability to hunt down a bargain. I love tiny homes for the footprint but you can get a used manufactured home down here in Mississippi for around that price. People can definitely get a nice home for less than $50k. The Boxabl Casita sells for around that but looks to come pretty ready to sail from what I've seen. He did an amazing job of breaking the work down and I think the knowledge gained is priceless. I think corporations are going to make it increasingly harder for 1st time homeowners to purchase starter homes until everyone is renting. If you do the math, the real estate on the earth is finite as our population continues to grow. Owning you some land should be a consistent conquest before this sorta thing happens. Kudos to you for starting at such a young age. 💯
Mannn!! Loved everything about it. You have a unique way to make your videos fun, entertaining and connect with people at the same time. This video was also educational, it teaches how to be autonomous and realize that you have so much more creative power than you believe you have.

That's amazing how you did all that at your young age. Kids today have so much opportunities that I never had growing up learning all these different things.
David, I've watched many tiny house, RV and trailer building videos over the past three years, and yours is the best by far! Besides being very informative, along with good production and editing, both parts were incredibly entertaining; I laughed out loud many times and really appreciated your sense of humor. You are a DELIGHT to watch! I love your vibe, enthusiasm, and narration! Plus, your Tiny House looks sensational! Good for you for wanting something and MAKING IT HAPPEN! No BIG secret! No magic. No fairy dust! Just save the money and put in the work (hard work)! I emphasize this cause I'm so tired of hearing people PISS & MOAN about WANTING what someone else has but doesn't want to put the effort in to make it happen! So, GOOD ON YOU! very cool build. Just a suggestion if you havent done so yet, you need to solder the ends of your stranded electrical wires and then crimp on a lug before attaching to your terminal bar. The way you had it connected is not a solid connection and may wiggle out over time, not to mention is a fire hazard. Maybe someone has already suggested and you took care of it.
This is a beautiful tiny home! You are also hilarious! I was not expecting to laugh my butt off during these 2 videos but your humor from the first one brought me to this one. And.. I didn't even fast forward once like I normally would in these videos lol. Cheers!
That was a great build! Really enjoyed your video. It is great to see young people do stuff like this. So productive. You have a talent and you’re very creative. Don’t let the trolls get you down, they’re just jealous. Can’t wait to see what you do next.
Amazing! Your tiny house on wheels looks beautiful! You put a lot of effort into it, it's very impressive that you built this all by yourself! For someone who has almost no house building experience, you did an amazing job!

love that you didn't add one of those useless sofas area but a proper desktop area to get some work done, one could probably live in one of these for a long time, the shower near the kicthen sink is also a nice touch

I'm really enjoying this video! Great job! May I suggest (If you haven't already) go back and put some ring terminals on your wires for the fuse block. It'll look much cleaner and give you a much more solid electrical connection. Cheers!

You can even build a tiny gaming pc with a ryzen APU and a 12v pico psu power supply, to avoid the 12v->110v conversion efficiency loss of the inverter and the 110v->12v/5v/3.3v efficiency loss that a PC psu typically has. Similar story with LED lighting, there's a ton of lighting options that natively take 12v input, which both save efficiency loss and eliminates another part that could fail (110v->12v LED driver)
-many RV's come with 'cassette style' toilet and blackwater tank.
Well done.
STOP WE ALL HATE PEOPLE LIKE YOU MR. MANY WORDS 😐
Legend, - im gonna use these tips for my own tiny house build which should take me 3 years. Starting this summer.
@@elitemeemoosood9869hoping u succeed!
@@Alvionalx thank you very much. Just gotta get my exams out of the way
Knowledge is power! Thanks for your contribution to all who are watching and reading this, getting ready to become builders of their own tiny homes!
It's good to see someone doing so much with next to no construction experience! I'm aspiring to build out my own van/box truck in the future into a mobile home but the big thing that has concerned me is whether or not I'd struggle with all the construction. Seeing you succeed gives me confidence, thank you for sharing your journey with us!
man, watching you build that small house, this house upgrade... jeez its a satisfying and motivation source
Bro I don’t normally laugh at videos but you had me dying with some of your jokes 🤣 aside from the comedy, the video was super informational and inspiring! So impressive you learned all those skills to build your tiny home!
Thanks man! It’s come a long ways since when you last saw it!
He is literally so unfunny

God bless!
Glad ya liked it!
How do you have only 90k subscribers. You are so talented. I can’t believe you did electrical, plumbing, and heat and air all in. THIS IS AMAZING ❤
He does not ask (beg) for subscribers the way others do. He should.
Well apparently he got 24k subs in less than two weeks

Your sense of humor is almost as good as the tiny house. Congrats on the build! Cheers from Croatia :)
Thanks so much! Also, Croatia is one of my favorite countries I’ve ever been to!
Probably one of the best videos I've watched in a long time congratulations you've got a great future in whatever you do
Thanks so much! And yeah, still figuring it out but that's encouraging to hear :)
Turned out awesome, so cozy and warm-feeling. I could never pull off something like this. Just Wow, definitely worth the months long waiting.
Yessss, I'm so stoked. And I guarantee you could seeing as how I did, but it's definitely a commitment. Not for everybody.

My Goblin, you freaking killed it. I am so unbelievably proud of you and all your awesome-ness. Keep being the coolest goblin around ❤️
The story of the little goblin who could. Thank youuuuuuu Brooke
Bro how does this legend only have 100k. He deserves millions for all the work he but into this ❤️
Glad your back. Your 'can do' attitude and trail blazing into learning new skills, without fuss is bloody impressive. Loving this one. Congrats.
Thanks a ton!
Awesome job! One thing, if you’re going to move around a lot, please check the wheel bearings on the trailer. These are often overlooked and can be a disaster if they fail.
Yes!!!
Awesome videos.
Appreciate it a ton! Thanks so much.
From musician to TH-camr, this is amazing! I've stayed in a tiny house with my fam before, so seeing one actually being created is awesome! Can't wait to see your channel grow!
Young dude is a genius. Can't imagine doing 1/10 of the work here. Tons of patience and creativity.
Dear David Rule, I think your off-grid tiny home looks absolutely fantastic, I think if people are going to make ant comments, it's really because they actually like it if not love it as I do, this means you can travel all over the country side, have a blast and as always stay safe, safe travels take care all the very best, well done beautiful awesome home I love it 🙏❤😘💜❤
Your dad must be extremely proud of you, I wouldn't be able to do all of that by my self. Awesome vid
I first watched the original build video right after it came out and was immediately obsessed with tiny home and vanlife videos and now 7 months later I have a plan to make my dreams a reality! Thanks man
You are so smart, talented, and hysterical. I don't know when I have enjoyed a build more (maybe because I haven't). Live long and prosper, my friend.
Those heaters have a HUGE history of catching on fire. 😲
I've been waiting months for this! Looks great!
Thanks so much! Sorry for the wait haha
This is entertaining, informative and motivating. You probably could host a series about ppl who build their own homes all over...but for real this is incredible
usually videos are full of negative videos but this dude did a great job and not cringe at all
This is what I'm talking about!
Gosh is there anything that David can't do! So he can build a tiny home, fit it out, film & edit amazing TH-cam videos, he's articulate, humorous and is so entertaining to watch. New subscriber here who's going to binge watch all his previous videos 😀🙃😉
This is the real “Tim the tool man.” Impressive 👏🏽👏🏽
Bud, you are living my DREAM LIFE right here!!! This journey from start to finish was a blast to watch; Thank you for sharing it with us.
Bro you're so positive, this was super inspiring. I have no building experience but I started saving recently, here in a few years I'm gonna build one like this for me and my girl
Ive watched manyyyy tiny home builds and this one might be my fave !!!!! It has that simple feel to it while still being really practical and beautiful. Well done !!!
(And I'm old enough to be your grandpa). Anyway, great job! I'm now a subscriber to your channel and look forward to more of your videos. Thanks and please keep them coming!
Thanks so much! Really appreciate it and that’s so good to hear!
New subscriber here! I love your tiny house but especially your sense of humor! You young man are awesome. So proud of you for doing this on your own and learning on your own! Way to go!
Love the interior finish just as much as the exterior ! warm and handsome design, colors, ....still my fav tiny home build vid.
David , this small home is beautiful ! You did an awesome job ! I love your personality !
Continue to share your fabulous thoughts and film all the many different projects your beautiful mind can think up! It's been my pleasure! Aloha
very cool build.
Bro for someone with no building experience you absolutely killed this! Big respects 👍🏽
Super fun video. I love the more simple build, it looks super cozy and rustic. The dad jokes are legendary
Good to see that FR3D is still posting on youtube... making tiny houses!! Looks amazing, I love it!!!
Amazing! Your tiny house on wheels looks beautiful! You put a lot of effort into it, it's very impressive that you built this all by yourself! For someone who has almost no house building experience, you did an amazing job!
Man you’ve done amazing with this! Awesome work!
Was well worth the wait
Amazing video of an amazing project, David! Thanks for sharing your journey to build your tiny home.
Wow! Beautiful job! I love the loft and how it gives you so much space downstairs. Speaking of stairs! You did a fantastic job with all that storage!
Hello Dawn how are you doing hopefully you are doing good??
This is legit the best tiny home build I have ever watched! You are hilarious and actually very helpful!
What an impressive build! Your parents must be so proud of you! So smart and accomplished at such a young age! You are going to have(already have) such an amazing life! Thanks for sharing with us. Jane in SC ❤🙏
I'm proud of you, some of us didn't get good parents. But, awesome to see everything you do. ❤️
you are a super talented person like you made a tiny home, electrical work and everything all on your own which i found absolutely incredible.
Keep up the good work ❤
love that you didn't add one of those useless sofas area but a proper desktop area to get some work done, one could probably live in one of these for a long time, the shower near the kicthen sink is also a nice touch
I was really excited to see the interior and it didn't disappoint- great job!! Looking forward to checking out your travel videos too
Honestly I love your tiny home, I must say you Possess a lot of skills ❤️
Thank ya!
David, awesome job!! I haven't seen you in forever! It looks as if you're doing great!
I love the ending how it turned out, and you just put so much effort into it
Holy smokes!!!! This is ammmmmazing and so are you! What a fantastic job you've done of the build annnnd the way you've put this video together in such an educational yet entertaining way. You have an incredible future ahead of you. Your parents must be sooo proud of you. Way to go! All the best from the east coast of Canada to you and yours. Happy travels. 🇨🇦👍🇨🇦
David I loved the tiny house update and think you have done an amazing job, well done from Belfast, Ireland 👏👏👍
I'm really enjoying this video! Great job! May I suggest (If you haven't already) go back and put some ring terminals on your wires for the fuse block. It'll look much cleaner and give you a much more solid electrical connection. Cheers!
The interior of an off-grid tiny home reflects a balance between practicality, sustainability, and comfort, providing a cozy and functional living environment for those embracing a minimalist and self-sufficient lifestyle.
I love tiny homes and love how you organised this, it's completely amazing
It is good that you are taking measurements "to prevent death". I heard it is highly advisable not to die. Congratulations on the amazing build!
I sincerely waited for this video and Oh my beloved goblin ! The wait was worth it 😍😍😍.
Thankyou for such beautiful video. May you continue to make such wonderful projects in the future too while I gather some energy to make my bed ! 🙂
I'm just dialing in on your channel man, pretty cool build over all David. I've enjoyed the puns and one liners, oh and the build. lol Good luck with finding the land. Thanks for sharing your build.
