Y'all are killing it with these videos. You are comfortable enough on camera and goofy enough for the audience to feel like friends. It's interesting enough to hold attention for 2.5 hours. Keep up the good work, gents. Thoroughly enjoying the content.
Brothers there's nobody else I'd ever consider watching a 2 and a half hour video from. But you guys are fucking amazing. I'm glad I kept getting recommend your stuff. Keep up the work. Your dynamic is unparalleled.
The dedication to this truck is awesome she has so much life left in her just imagine doing a brand new dual exhaust and a good clean up shed be an absolute work horse hopefully they keep this truck around
I'm so glad I found this channel; I would never have guessed these guys were this new to TH-cam. They are excellent in front of the camera and the video quality is amazing. They are just what the car community needs right now, and I hope they find the success they deserve!
I was having a really crappy day until I just saw your video and adventure! Thanks for making my day!! I watched every minute of the 2.5 hours. It’s testament to your abilities, patience , humor and most of all your friendships together! Great work guys!! 😊😊😊
Man what an amazing video, such cozy atmosphere. You guys really deserve to blow up and it’s 100% coming and I’m very glad that I found you at the start, you are awesome and genuine
I can't get enough of your videos! Your passion for restoration and incredible talent shine through in every project. Watching you work is a true pleasure
THAT WAS THE REAL DEAL!!! Congratulations guys. You killed it. Thank you for doing a real will it run and drive. Looking forward to more content from you guys.
Just discovered y'all with the $3000 car video, watched every minute of this video. I absolutely love your guys' style and these videos are super entertaining. I hope this channel blows up like it deserves. It's super refreshing watching a channel that hasn't become a constant corporate advertisement. Keep up the good work guys. Primo stuff.
I always heard you put the flywheel in the freezer for a couple hours and put the ring gear in the oven and turn it all the way up. Then you can pretty much just press it on.
This was one of the sickest resurrections I’ve ever seen. An amazing adventure I couldn’t keep my eyes off of. Truly can’t believe you guys got this up and running AND drove 600 miles without needing a tow! Incredible stuff gentlemen, thank you for sharing 👏🏾🛻🎉
You guys are awesome cuz that thing was done, dead and deceased and y’all brought it back to life. Watched the whole thing. Hope you guys do more of these❤
lol the “canyon run” looks like it was in what we call the palisades on route 68 coming through jessamine county. An absolute mad man to take that thing through there. You guys drove right by the cave house from the early 1900s.
When It started and ran for the first time I was screaming in joy. This is content that shows the real struggle makes the win feel so good . Way to stay genuine
This channel is so damn cool. You guys have the perfect sarcastic chemistry that I look for in content. Super stoked to see how this channel plays out. Good luck fellas! +1 Subscriber
New to the Channel and I enjoyed the full video 🤙🏼 . Yall got a dang good team going over there. Yall keep rocking and I'm going to continue watching. Rock on fellas !
Bruhhh, that was nuts, every system failed on the truck. The fact you guys were throwing wrenches and giving up when those brake lines failed was impressive, comment for the algo, hopefully you guys get a ton more views
Thank you! And yeah, pretty much everything that could've went wrong did go wrong. By far the worst part of the trip home was the tires though. 4 out of the 6 we had blew up and many of those breakdowns were extremely downscaled in time. We put each tire back together by hand so we were stopped for sometimes 1-2 hours just getting everything put back together.
Boys this is top of the line. You got yourselves a new subscriber. Y’all’s diligence with this thing was incredible to see. Made me want to go after that tire man about those river tubes myself. Haha
Thank you and absolutely! The video doesn't do it a justice but the first few times a tire blew we were there at least an hour. The tires probably added a good 6 hours to the trip. If it weren't for them it would've been MOSTLY smooth sailing 🤣
Awesome vid guys! Super impressed with how you guys were able to bring that truck back from the grave and get it home! Like others mentioned, you guys definitely will blow up soon with content like this!
You guys are going to blow up, this is exactly what we have been missing from the car community on youtube. Yall are jumping in right when Donut and the rest are eating themselves alive.
Love all what you do. Such a natural way you guys make your videos. I am not mechanically smart but watched this from start to finish enjoying everything about it
Was building an engine for an el Camino last night, I got dehydrated and decided to just come home. Turned on the tube any your video was there, it was showing daylight when it finished and I felt way better. Next trip, measure bolt patterns and it looks like Isuzu wheels would of fit for tubeless tires, welding equipment and a spare small block and automatic trans for quick slip in. I drive tractor trailer and deal with 10.00-20's tube tires, the inner liner slips or breaks and the tube gets rubbed or the tire slips on the rim rubbed a hole or breaks a valve core, so tubeless is the way. I really felt for you guys each obstacle but you all over came, EW-RAHHHH.
I’m surprised, nobody on the team noticed that those tires were being put on, without paying attention to the directional design of the tires. Wether they are directionally designed or not, you guys pay attention details going forward. Take notice, early on in the video, that the left rear outer tire was backwards in relation to the others. This can create other tire issues variations of tire issues, down the line. And by the way, tire unbalanced issues will happen when to much water/liquid is poured into the tire whilst installing the inner-tube. LOVED THE EPISODE ,ALOT! Keep up the good work & FINDS.
It would be cool if you take the old fly wheel ring and make it into the steering wheel. Maybe cover it in an epoxy so it doesn't hurt as much while driving?
Hopefully this helps you guys in future if you have more muffler related problems. A fantastic and cheap temporary solution is tractor supply. They have slip fit tractor mufflers on their shelves, they're easier and more forgiving to poorly clamp on than a regular automotive mufflers. They're in the vicinity of 30 bucks
38:40 LOVE that Stang!!! Don't really care that the denim was sourced through all natural products or that the dye was chewed up and spit onto the material by a thousand Indian papooses in the month of March 1979. But if he's into that well okay.
So the trip, once it finally got under way LOL was REALLY a lot like a Sunday felt like when I was a young whippersnapper on the road with my Rockin band. Sunday was when we packed up everything into the old school bus and drove from one gig to another! When we started out I was only 19 I think and we had a 1966 48 passenger bus converted to a R n R touring machine. Which meant it was an OLD thing that had "Personality" but we loved all of our buses and they were all "The Magic Bus" to us. Those of us that called that bus home base when we toured those first green and exciting terrifying wonderful horror shows respected the old girls even though some Sundays it was a fight to keep her on the road!
This idea and this video are insane… goes to show they dont make em like they used to!! To tap a valve with a hammer and its good to go? A car nowadays would never compare 😂 awesome job guys!!
On top of that, we were giving it everything it's got pretty much the whole trip home. So to be woken up after 34 years to be held at max rev for 24 hours is pretty insane too 😂
@@allwinauto yea, she took a beating after all that time being asleep and the only real issue, in terms of drivetrain, was the carrier bearing and then the radiator wanted to be a second horn🤣 and the cherry on top for me was seeing that oil looking brand new in there still. Absolutely wild! Definitely what Devin kept saying: right place, right time. Yall were meant to save that truck!
