Nothing I've seen from Cristiano Ronaldo peak ball player 2006-09 for Man Utd & peak ball player Real Madrid 2009-13 convinces me he was more skilled than peak Thierry Henry 2000-07. Theirry's ball controls, dribbles were way more silky - smooth to the rather stiff- robotics of Cristiano ball plays.

Granted this was early in Don Carlo's career as manager,but I genuinely think that Lippi was building something incredible as you had France's 3 best players- Zidane, Henry and Deschamps all in that side
