    Taken out of the context of game importance, I don't think I'll ever see a greater goal than that Zlatan bicycle kick. I've seen screamers, I've seen one man wonder dribblers (thank you Messi), I've seen tiki taka masterclasses, I've seen keeper lobs from behind half way, they're all special. But a 30yd bicycle kick, on the angle, body out of alignment, cleanly arcing in without a bounce... that's unique.

      Don’t want to break it for you, Mauro Bressan vs Barcelona in 1999-00, I believe. Little bit closer to the goal but with the keeper actually well positioned in the goal, and he didn’t have a chance. Bergkamp flick was and still is truly unique.

    I love how every players explains the goal in the exact manner you'd expect it, if you know the player. Pirlo is calm and collected, stating facts, while Ibrahimovic feels so boastful and epic

      Yes, people play is an extension of their character, people who are well into the game love players based on that. I loath Neymar, truly genius player, never heard a word from him, just know he is a flaming asshole just based on how he plays.

    I rate Zlatans the highest. He has so much time there to think this through, makes all the right decisions and then just pulls it off so perfectly.
    Shoutout however to Pirlos panenka. He said it in another interview I think. Being behind in penalties at the point when it was his turn and given how Hart was fooling around, to score not just in any way but in THAT way was kind of necessary to turn the tides. He rattled Hart and the english team, putting extra pressure on them and he gave a huge confidence boost to the italien teammates.

    • @howsyetouch2

      100% Italy had just missed but Pirlo turned the tide of that shoutout with that Panenka

    This is why everybody hates England and also why they don’t win. Hart is acting up on his goal line disrespecting a good opponent in Italy. Pirlo duly makes a fool of him. And then the English commentator has the audacity to call Pirlo the arrogant one …………… 🤦🏼‍♂️

    Hart was all over the shop in thqt penalty shootout - he took totally the wrong approach. Far too hyped up, you could tell he was going to dive out the way. Pirlo was clever enough to see that.

    If you've ever played football at a reasonably decent level, you'll know the Zlatan goal is the best. That's why I would expect 99% of journo's and pub players to go for Henry or Bergkamp because their minds cannot comprehend.

    • @Dandroid5000
      @Dandroid5000 19 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +4

      Agree with you to a point, but as mindblowing as Zlatan's goal is, I'll always appreciate Bergkamp's dainty little touch and pirouette...........both goals sum them up perfectly as players - the intelligence and guile of the Dutch master, and the extroverted over confidence of a natural born showman.

    • @benedictjephcote6815
      @benedictjephcote6815 18 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +3

      I find Zlatan's and Bergkamp's the best two here. I find the thinking element, the deft touch and really interesting 'turning the other way' make Bergkamp's the kind of goal that the average Sunday league player wouldn't pull off. Similar with the Zlatan one, it takes a thought process and incredible athletcism that so few people possess.
      By contrast, a bunch of Sunday league players, on their day, could do the rest of these. A huge punt from the halfway line; a beautifully clean, lofted volley; a crisply struck backheel. Whereas the Zlatan and Bergkamp ones require more than hitting the sweet spot on your shot.

      I remember very well that international break. France was also playing and at the end of their game, in the tunnel, a journalist showed the Zlatan goal to Menez and Matuidi (who were his PSG teammates at the time) but the ENTIRE French squad gathered around the video and they just couldn't believe it. They literally stayed 5 minutes there replaying it again and again. All the goals in the video are great but clearly the Zlatan bicycle is the only one that can trigger such a reaction.

    Berbatov is smart. Why is everyone rushing into the box?? This is the mentality Messi uses walking and looking to get space for himself. He doesn't create the space-- the other player's sprinting around do.

    For Berbatov's goal against Blackburn, I disagree with 'they rushed into the box' part of it. Rooney and Park took the defence with them to create the space for Berbatov behind. If Rooney and Park didn't do that, then the space is not there.

      Start with 1 and build from there if it doesn’t work out then try a different channel with a different approach. Don’t just spam channels with the same content as TH-cam does know and will just slump your channels.

    Hehe.. the Bergkamp goal..
    It really do look like he wanted to take it and control it with his chest. Because he arches his back a bit. And then it went around behind him, so he spun around after it..
    Got lucky with having Davidson out of balance and could nudge him away

      He spins so instantly that by the time the ball has arrived at his feet, he knows what he's going to do. Dabizas is the defender and he didn't stand a chance.
