Nobody currently playing football comes close to Bergkamp and Zidane's intelligence. These two were geniuses.
i will add francesco totti, its crazy that messi have some passes turning not like bergkamp but like xavi. the football need those turn again, crazy playmakers
Well Iniesta is still playing so....!!
He is also in the level of those two
Messi..
@@hector622no, riquelme instead
Zidane, and Bergkamp play ugly football. Prefer Eric Cantona and Thierry Henry.
Played on snow, didn't leave footprints...❗️❄️
Berkgamp had the best control & first touch I have ever witnessed. 👍
Bergkamp first touch and control is World Class ❤❤
He reminds me a bit of Cantona. That mid to late 90s early 2000s had the best ballers. Pure footballers. The pureness wasn't coached out of anyone.
No chance whatsoever...
Bergkamp will ALWAYS piss over players like that frog...
Can't believe you can compare the two...
No way no how no chance 💯
@@RFED2O You didn't watch Cantona. His style is very similar. Can't believe you compared the 2 without any knowledge. Bet you didn't watch either of them.
@@eNyaaaw Didn't missed anything on Diego then Dennis there was others but not him
@@RFED2O I believe you. I really do.
Cantona and Bergkamp defined the second striker position along with Totti and Del Piero. Unbelievable players all of them. Cantona's skill level was just ridiculous. It's insane how he's kind of the underrated one these days. His peak was probably the highest out of them. That position doesn't really exist now at high levels. They'd probably all get coached to be AM or #10 now and would be kind of expected to be more athletic. Imagine any of them with modern coaching and training. They'd be absolute monsters in the modern game
Technically The Best Player Ever To Play In England.....
One of the most underrated footballler ever
Bergkamp's close ball control was incredible!!
How many players you know, who started as a successful striker and later became an equally successful playmaker for the club as well as for a national team? This man did
can't name 1 to be honest , others just did the oposite but this is legendary
Still not sure of what adjective to use in describe this man, his just absolutely ??????
And still dont believe some fools are still arguing whether he meant to do that skill for the newcastle goal, dude was a f**king genius, he needs no validation from anyone.
C'è poco da fare il calcio e i calciatori degli anni 90 erano
Un altro mondo.....😭
Ice Man.
If Ronaldinho was Messi's master, then Bergkamp would be Henry's master. The latter ones looked like they were playing in similar ways.
One of my favorite player of all time.
in my opinion the greatest of all time
the GREATEST PLAYER TO EVER PLAY FOOTBALL
1:06 He's running and waiting for the ball to bounce up. Then he takes it with his right foot, controls it with his left, spins around, faces the goalie, and boots it with his right foot. GOD-LEVEL SKILL!
One of the most underated ballers ever
Queria muito ter visto o Bergkamp jogando com os promissores jovens meias que o Arsenal revelaria nas temporadas seguintes, Fábregas; Rosicky; Wilshere; Ramsey; Cazorla etc....
kids these days probably know him from fc 24 but what a baller he was in his prime
Unbelievable Player
Bergkamp to Nistelrooy to Persie. Netherland used to have a lot of deadly striker.
Bergkamp e Hanry ,os dois melhores jogadores da história do Arsenal.
beautiful
Сама элегантность.
These touches = Science + Magic
I watched Dennis fly every week
Art of the football
Later in my life, i will speak about him to my grandsons, and i'm french man😉
I will do the same and I'm from Belgium.
I suppose there is no frontier when it comes to speak about the quality of DB10
03:06 Master of the first touch
The non flying Dutchman 👍👍 ICEMAN
Used to pester/disturb😅 my SAF friends (Kok Weng, Ah Huat, Gerald, Chee Yong) about how special Dennis Bergkamp is.
25+ years ago;
Time flies.
So good that he did not need his left foot.
The Iceman
and that clown Martin Keown said that kdb haaland partnership is better than bergham and henry one
De pronto to Kdb
The highest IQ in football ever

He plays like zidane
I dont think we'll ever see the likes of Bergkamp (or Zidane for that matter) because strength AND technical ability are not as important in the modern game. Messi & Ronaldo were fortunate to play in an era where they were looked after by rules favouring attackers. Messi especially would not have been able to perform at such a high level if he had been playing from say 1990 till 2005, Ronaldo wouldn't have had such a big drop in numbers because of his physicality, but still wouldn't have matched others. This is why, to any real football fan with knowledge, Pele and Maradona are the GOATS- Both would've absolutely destroyed even more records with the softer rules of the last 20 years. Zidane 3rd, Bergkamp 4th, Cruyff 5th...then Messi/Ronaldo. Sorry fanboys but Messi/Ronaldo, especially the former, would have done nothing in the 60s or 80s- especially Messi, as with such a light frame, he would've been bullied out of the game 100%.
Just having watched this.
I've gotta say it.....who is better.
Bergkamp or Zidane 😳
This is a nonsensical comparison and I don’t know why people even make comments like this.
@@Secularexpansion9 what are you talking about?
@@zu1875lu They play different positions. They have different skill sets. Bergkamp couldn’t have done what Zidane did and Zidane couldn’t have done what Bergkamp did.
How would you even measure who was “better”?
It’s nonsensical. Just enjoy the piece of art they both gave to the world. There is no reason to engage in these “wHo Is BEtTeR”? Arguments.
@@Secularexpansion9 I totally disagree with your thinking. They both Played VERY similar and could easily play any front position.
Couldn't disagree more with you if I tried.
@@zu1875ludo you not understand tactics and positional play? It has nothing to do with my thinking.
Bergkamp was a striker. Zidane was a fairly unorthodox central midfielder who would aid in attacking positions but would also drop back deep into the midfield to receive the ball and influence the game.
Completely different roles.
You understand the difference between a striker and a central midfielder right?
Antes los defensores eran mas lentos a mi parecer
All players were slower. Modern coaching demands more athleticism. In the modern game they'd be coached to be faster and the tactics would be more advanced. And players like Bergkamp would still be world class because of the pure skill level of a player like him or Cantona or Del Piero who all played similar roles
No auge, Bergkamp ou Riquelme??...
Bergkamp
i prefer bergkamp but i respect riquelme a lot
HE IS GOOD TECHNICALLY BUT HEY KANU TECHNICALLY IS SOMETHING ELSE ABOVE .... BUT BOTH GREAT AOME EVEN RATE HIM HIGHER BUT NAH KANU IS KING FOR A REASON
Entre Ronaldinho y el está duro
Ronaldinho was better. Bergkamp was at about the same standard as Neymar is today.
