Step 11 pass out from the fumes.
The moron wet the chip again.
Seriously guys don’t try this
Maybe you should have a look at the WHMIS sheet for isopropyl before you use it like that. If you like your health that is.
This was posted on my birthday!
Bonus Step: Drop it.
How in the world did Linus miss that step is beyond me.
I'm waiting on the Extended Snyder Cut of Linus dropping it multiple times.
Drop it like it's hot.

happy to be the 1k like here
Step 20: collect all the resitors and capacitors that have been scrubbed off and try to find out where they should be on the board...
This
I was gonna say ….
My anxiety the entire video was through the roof bc of this
@@inzanium why?
@@doctorbright6946 he was scrubbing pretty hard, easy for it to break off
Step 11: Oh shit, I wasn't meant to scrub this capacitor off
Step 1: Choose proper tools.
(like a brush with appropriate bristle strength)
@@SacredMilkOG even tho, gotta be careful of bristle getting under components and getting stuck, resulting in them being pulled out anyway XD
It's okay, they give you extra just in case and to jack up the price.
step 12: snap it into 2 and buy another by emptying your wallet
For real. There's some 0102s holding on for dear life in this short.
Step 11: discover cuts you never knew you had
I hate when that happens.

*This tip is only applicable in temperatures of over 300 degrees Celsius*

step 12: throw it in the trash
Linus : make sure you always spraypaint in a well ventilated area
Also Linus : Huffs isopropanol for millions to see
That would explain a lot tho
Isopropyl alcohol isn't really dangerous to inhale a bit of. Spray paint uses oil based distillates and is immediately cancerous.

My GPU is drunk after that much alcohol
Mine identified as a singing soundcard afterwards.

Good guide thank you. Now I can stop using my washing machine.
You should never use a washing machine to clean delicate electronics! The tumbling action is too rough. Always use a dishwasher. Comes out sparkling clean.

Ikr, everyone should start SMD micro-resoldering the components of their GPU so the bonds are stronger, it's so much fun~
rest in peace to the transistor for k and L keys that snapped off the pcb of my keyboard while i was wiping it down. Got the special glue and fixed it, worked fine, but when i tried to plug the cable into the pcb 2 of the wires snapped and the transistor got scraped off... again. @@funnyarc doesn't that not really do anything tho ? If I'm wrong please provide some evidence bc I would definitely do that.
