Is your YT still F%@!?. Good you keep going
A raid shadow legends sponsor would have been better
bro how much did they pay you to lie lmao, "killing animations that are honestly, way too godd" and shows the jankiest looking animation. and the voice acting lmao wtf
I'm so glad and impressed that CDPR is so committed to making Cyberpunk 2077 the game they always envisioned.
I mean, it was government backed and they lied to shareholders. They legally, pretty much had to fix it. They didn't do so out of the good graces in their hearts. And you better belive, that if they didn't have a 40 dollar DLC to go along with it- they would've never patched beyond the launch window/year.
@@andreou3335yeah I find it weird how lying, swindling and then being strongarmed into fixing your obvious deception is considered praise worthy. I still don't consider CDPR in any higher standard than before the controversy. They *had* to fix it. I don't see a criminal in higher standing just because they've served jail time.
Edit: and that's not even mentioning the disgusting conditions they put their Devs under. The state of CD as a company and as a workplace isn't just in question but in shambles and this "apology" while appreciated doesn't repair it. Voluntary good and treating their workers like people might *start* to repair it.
They lost me as a customer forever. If was both the broken game and broken promises that left a sour taste in my mouth. None of CD Projekt Red's games do any one thing exceptionally well enough to earn me back as a customer.
I've always found the sandevestan or beserk beat the game for ya too
@@andreou3335while I agree the devs don’t make those choices the executives do
Fun fact about Dont Fear The Reaper! Mr. Blue Eyes, the man who contracts the Crystal Palace gig in the ending cutscene, is the same man who is providing the cure to Songbird. Meaning that if V succeeds on their space mission, they get a chance at survival with no strings attached. We already know that Mr. BE has a thing for neuroplasticity from the Peralez side quest he's alluded to be involved in, so he might be able to really do it.
Even crazier is that for the Nomad ending, there exists a nomadic group known as the technomancers who actively seek out people with "special" diseases and illnesses who are said to be masters of multiple forms of science with doctors that put the big corps and NUSA to shame.
@@Pharis111It might not look that way from the outside but lorewise, Nomads in general has some of the most educated and smart people in all of Cyberpunk lore.
Thank you random TH-cam guy for giving me faith that V has a chance at life without him/her loosing everything 🥺
@@jordanvangesen2080 Not a guy but happy to help!
Thank you random they/them or she/her your much appreciated 🥺
I won’t lie “get hit by a invisible car thanks chooba” made me laugh more then I should as I relived a car crash I witnessed the guy go under the car then when the car backed up he then sat up and stuck his thumb out
Yeah they have random voice lines and a guy once told me “thanks, I needed that!” after I ran him over
Maybe I should make it clear this was a actual car crash the guy was alright and got away with minor injuries
Now I'm remembering the burned out ncpd cruiser that was just flying around after 2.01
The thing about Yorinobu is very interesting to me, because I don't think he was ever at any point *meant* to be even an antagonist to V, much less the main antagonist. Like, he is simply a person who exists in the same spaces as V, and doesn't give a damn about their existence. Nor does V particularly care about Yorinobu outside of the initial heist. Which is a very interesting approach to worldbuilding in my opinion.
To the Fear the Reaper ending, all I have to say is:
Two Tomahawks
Enough armor, cyberware and health to make Smasher jealous
Militech Berserk Chip (don’t know the name off the top of my head)
Gorilla Arms
I sure as shit don’t fear the Reaper, but Arasaka definitely should
There's only one Militech Berserk, and it's the one that makes you fully invulnerable to damage.
@@GeorgePerakis Yeah I couldn’t remember exactly what it was called
And a hammer.
@@peryshko1273 No the hammer is too slow, fists demolish everything in two hits
@@rynemcgriffin1752 Fortunately, i randomly got a bug that makes me immortal so i have the time and hp to just walk with the sasquatch hammer and bonk.
I've beat this game 5 times and completed phantom liberty day 1 after an amazing 13 hour gaming session. It makes me so happy this game is getting the love it deserves
Sad thing about all the main endings is that V always dies in Mikoshi. Just like Johnny, a machine version of V simply wakes up in V's body.
Yes, this alwats gets overlooked in the ending discourse for some reason
Exactly, the surgery ending is the only one where Vs humanity (or soul) is saved.
omg idk why but the hideshi hino gag just makes me die laughing I love that skit so much in the game
It's funny to me, at least, because it's rooted in Takemuras character. An honor driven bodyguard- sitting in a slum being recognized as a hack comedian.
whats even better is, you can MEET the REAL Hideshi in Phantom Liberty, and talk to him about Takemura. duno if you can tell Goro about the offer Hideshi makes you yet, since i haven't gotten that far. But it would be hilarious to me, if you could hook the two of them up after the ending (ether ending i mean)
The meta-joke here is that Takemura is _voiced_ by an actual Japanese actor/comedian/gameshow host. I don't know if CDPR was punking the guy or what was going on.
I should specify something real quick- I didn't get the Don't Fear The Reaper ending on my first go. I just filled the reqs for it. Went back for it to make this video.
I remember the gig where I had to save some medic who was kidnapped by a gang . She was working on a member and wouldn’t leave till he was treated….. from my professional stand point ( none) he looked like he had a headache ..so I gave him a cure. A bullet ☺️. Fixed him right up
I'd say the DFtR ending is the legit one IF you kept V's drive to be a NC legend in your head. I just wanted to be happy so I chose the Nomad ending.
Either way, there are hints in the game that suggest V lives in these 2 endings.
What hints are you referring to? I want to know!!!
@@duaneashley8194 with the nomad ending they say there's people they know outside of night city that they can "call in favours" to help you, I doubt they'd be able to save V seeing as even with this advanced ai the NUSA couldn't completly return V to normal, don't know about don't fear the reaper though.
My headcannon, v leaves night city with Panam and Judy then after not finding help with the nomads V goes with the NUSA after to get the relic out of their head and chills as a helper to the nomads after V retires
Letting songbird go to the moon + Crystal palace heist ending actually cures V via Mr. Blue Eyes.
I loved everything about Cyberpunk 2077 on release... besides the gameplay. Now that the game is only *kinda* bugged, it l's such a great game. I'm glad CDPR gave it the love it deserved. Just wish it was there on release.
I'd also like to say, you missed out on playing as a parkouring Cyber Ninja. It's so much fun and I almost never died using that style unless I managed to jump off the map by accident. Nothing better than sprinting into combat with a combo that kills 20 enemies in 15 seconds.
I tried to respec a few times, you might see that I used the monowire and gorilla fists. I only had so much time to cover it though, so I couldn't show it all off. Never tried the cyborg ninja but maybe in a year I'll try the throwing knives.
@@RowbyVidsdefinitely try the katana builds with air dash, you'll never be able to use guns ever again
"I didn't win fair and square but I did win"
Nothings fair in night city kid.
Man, the pacing of the script in your videos is impeccable, all your points just flow together is well - especially with a game a complicated as Cyberpunk V1.0 and V2.0. Great work!
Always Happy to see a rowby video on my feed
Mantis Blade + Berserker got me through for the most part.
Amazing review, kinda crazy you managed to get the secret ending in your first run. I actually teared up a bit when you narrated 🥲
1:25 well immersion is a form of role-playing, it is just the role is limited, the character is a specific range
It was a hotel that V broke into, not arasaka tower itself. That was Johnny
I'm not going to lie, I'm surprised.
That People are actually having trouble with completing the don't fear the reaper ending.
Or at least I was confused looking at what the creator of the video was using as his main weapon.
I wonder what did his build load out look like.
Love seeing a new video!!!
Note: the mechs can be easily defeated with the "self-delete" hack or with the short-circuit hack. I played on very hard and had the cyberware that increased the damage to robots.
Cyberpunk 2077 was a life changing game it was the whole reason I built my own pc back in 2020-2021
0:19 it hits depending on if you like it
Stopped at 18:39 as I am on my first play through of the game, fantastic video, as a fan if the game, and I'm currently playing through it now for the first time, about 14 hours in, doing hella side quests and exploring night city, this game is fantastic, subbed!
Side quests are some of the best content in the game! Just finished all of them and going for the dlc next
Time to party like its 2023!! 🤘🤘🤘
Cool vid!
We got a video game to burn, Samurai
24:44 just spam short circuit here, two or three of them should take out that whole group of 10 or so robots
I’ve spent more than a healthy amount of time playing this game I’ve done 6 normal runs 2 phantom liberty runs and I’m on my third
Think you may be a bit trigger happy. Aside from a few story missions, as well as cyberpsycho missions, there is practically always a way to 'complete' the mission without any weapon.
I never had issues with cyberpunk i always fucking loved it even if I got two of the most depressing endings off the bat (i shot myself on accident and then did the arasaka ending)
Cyberpunk is one of my all time favorite games
I'm playing CP2077 on the PS4 now, and loving it.
I only started playing a few weeks ago and I just adore this world. But it was the game that taught me no publisher can be trusted three years ago. Love the characters, Night City, the themes and the Story.
Honestly when he said he played 2077 on the ps4 my video started buffering... and that sounds about right
My Rowby in Chrust you didn't show us the Anime Ending...
Still Good Vid 10/10 Can't wait for the next one!
10:22 Stuff like this is what would make me return to cyberpunk. AFTER I have done the infinite money early glitch that is possible on an older patch I downloaded
I bought it on release , play it on PS4 , deleted , then waited , now I’m playing it on my PS5 and I love it .
My baseball bat went BONK.
I preordered and loved it tbh, the game crashed a time or two and some glitches fixed by manually saving or not fixed at all because i could zoom across the map so sad i heard everyone else’s experience was horrible
LETS FUCKING GOOO!!! FUCKIN LOVE THIS GAME!!!
I remember playing cp2077 at launch on the base ps4, it crashed after i completed my first playthrough
It's funny how I recently started playing it
0:37 Nobody likes to admit it, but *just like New Vegas*
Oh wow, you too played it day one on PS4...I'm one of the very few that had minimal bugs, actually had more crashes after all the patches.
Idk if I got lucky or not. But I beat the game on release on the xbox one s and I never had any game breaking big. So I've never understood the hate the game got on release. It's been amazing from the start for me
Yeah i got some strange car spawns that yeeted the car into the atmosphere and a couple buggy ragdolls when killing npcs with explosions but nothing gamebreaking and i played on the oldest xbox one possible 7yo console at the time
yeah, the only way "don't fear the reaper" makes any sense is if you've beaten PL. if you can straight fucking summon the Elder Gods of yore, morphed into a new AI form, and use it to suck people into the goddamn void at will, yeah, it makes some sense that you can just "lmao get fucked" your way through Arisaka tower. at that point there's not a whole lot that *could ever* stop you
You should try a sandevistan build (that is if you want to play the game again after trudging through the final mission lol)
The "not loved" analogy is kinda off, it's more like it was in the jar no yard cause a drunk driver hit the car going 120 mph down the freeway and there was no way to save the original car even after putting 40k in it and it kinda still runs but the frame is bent so it's probably just better to let it go and get a newer model of the same car
First, by the way love you Rowby your uploads always make me slap 👍🏾
I played this game a while ago got farmed and it was decent came back recently deleted my old save restarted and I'm loving this game
flowers for algernon was a ridiculous pull
You glossed over the ending where you END yourself
I cut it because I was afraid the topic would get the video demonitized.
@@RowbyVids Good point. It's the ending I went with tho. Mostly just impressed I was allowed to choose it
im kinda surprised Rowby didnt mention Sandevistans at least once
I actually always skill in intelligence, condition and technical abilities cause these are the skills that open doors
You can melee Smasher in 2.0. Just need to avoid his swipes. Sandevistan is your friend.
Having played on a 3080ti pc with ray tracing I can’t imagine playing it on a ps4 doesn’t do the game justice, best looking game to date hands down
Yeah...I'm allergic to spoilers, so I only went so far with this. But it's good, fun commentary up to that point at least. I have thousands of hours in this game, but I didn't start playing until patch 1.5 when most of the really rough edges were smoothed down. It's crazy fun and I love it. I'm even giving Wanted: Dead a look, and I _hate_ game promos/sponsors.
Kerry Eurodyne my beloved
Dude, the game is so frustrating. I want to be a punk, let me be anti Corp anti cop anarchist fighting with everything in my bones against a system that makes that difficult and painful
Like why tf does the game stop me from saying a modern political saying about police in a dystopia where police protect corporate interest. Seriously, that's messed up. In phantom liberty, how am I not allowed to be anti war instead forced into condemning Jonny for abandoning his fellow soldiers in a war and insulting him personally
Like the game is built around choice, taking away choices you know players might want or believe is so frustrating
If Wanted Dead was 40% off on PS4 I might consider downloading it.
I played this on ps4 finished the game and I did the platinum trophy. This game is cool af
Cyber punk realy got back up
i was trying to defeat oda the dual blade dude, i got 2 shot by him. i was underleveled and it become dark soul.
Thanks choomba 👍
Phantom Liberty made V even more interesting. The unsung GOAT merc cyberpunk. Sadly he’ll probably won’t be the lead in Orion.
Wait you guys get a cooldown on your heals? Im on xbox one and i still got things like pistols is still on reflex. Am i missing something?
The Xbox one and PS4 versions stopped updating at 1.6 something
Thanks, choomba!
I feel like its a lie saying it; But I had known 2077 was a gem that needed to refine when I first saw it on launch day. I didn't even pre-order it and I still loved it despite the flaws and a PC far too weak to really run it. (And y'know, I am late to this party here.)
I gotta say I love CDPR for not giving up on the game. 2.0 was a massive improvement, Phantom Liberty was amazingly well done IMO. And I did my 2nd full run of the game locked to V.hard. You can bet your ass I was facing Arasaka head on with revolver in one hand, projectile launching 5 rockets in the other, Apogee sandi for OS, and no plan except kicking in the damn door. And less of the flex; Doing it deathless first try thanks to 2nd heart for the retry delay it gives.
Its a challenge on V.hard I'd suggest to anyone who's done the game once; And recommend to either rock out to 'Rebel path' on full blast. Or if you want classier music, 'Real Folk Blues' on repeat to match Spike's last stand.
Reguardless- great video. 2077 is too much of a massively detailed game to just be remembered about its poor launch. Even ignoring the 10 episodes we got in Edgerunners, '77 always deserved that second chance to be what the devs wanted. And I hope in the future we see the depreciated multiplayer code used for a co-op story to truly be a group of edgerunners.
I just really hope cdpr doesn’t drop this game from any sequels or continuations.
the issue with cyberpunk was that it still wasnt ready for launch when it launched. the concept of the game was good, but the execution in early versions was not good
I played it on release on a ps4 as well and apart from low frames during the chase scene everything was fine. I feel like a lot of the bugs the game “had” were just bullshit. My only complaint about the game is that it was short.
ROWBY AND CYBERPUNK
I’m on a 40 series card and when I spam the sandy it still crashes (rarely) 😂
6:10 It's an immersive sim. Compare: Deus Ex.
Turn Cyberbunk into dark souls huh?
Considering what the modding community achieved on Skyrim, I don't think it's impossible xD
Cyberware malfunction x8 plus synapse burnout x 4 + overclock = Adam smasher egg.
sonic shock
weapon glitch
cyberware malfunction
synapse burnout
all you need.
This actually came out on my birthday and when I tried to run it on my ps4, it broke my disk drive and eventually the whole ps4 fml
Only thing I didn’t like about Cuberpunk was that there wasn’t any way to save V. Then I remember Rdr2 did the same thing with Arthur, so now I think Cyberpunk is a 8/10
ok but
jerk's guide to baldur's gate 3? pretty plz? 🥺
Played it at launch with a 1060 3gb 😭😭😭
"I'm from Wisconsin."
20:27 First of all, yeah cuz that's awesome, secondly, if this cp fbi is anything like our modern fbi I'd wipe them out without a second thought. In fact, I would gladly sacrifice and lose things in the game to do it, cause it would be the right thing to do
Leaving this comment here to remind myself to watch the second half of this video when I finish Phantom Liberty
I never understood "it's a great game if you look past its enormous flaws" until I played payday 3 (make a video on payday 3 or the world will explode)
I can’t explain how happy I am to pull this game out of my pocket anytime I feel I need to win a I know better about video games then you argument
Adam smasher was a super disappointing fight for me. I had fully specd into blades and ended up killing him in 3 hits. Kinda disappointing
18:34 ok good time to stop and dig the ps4 out of the closet or fork over another 60$ to continue the story. See you in a week!
*God* I love Wanted Dead. Never touched Cyberpunk 2077 because... huge open world title CPDR title and those *never* start out well at release, but Wanted Dead is bloody fantastic. ...Probably should try 2077 now that there's been time for them to fix what issues there were.
i think my main issues with cyberpunk are how the start and end have meaty story but the inbetween can be a bit bland, and how the unnamed final boss was so unbelievably boring
I liked cyberpunk 2077 before it was cool
Shout out to CDPR finally reaching their vision and then immediately throwing in the towel, Real Samurai shit.
Oh god you tried to play this on a PS glorifed toaster.. this explains much...
oh god wanted dead I hate I know what that game already is
I have over 3,000 hours in this game and was featured in a gaming Article. I 100% the game 3 days after launch on an Xbox one, I understand that notion.

If you don’t kill the Corpo ex, but do kill everyone else; Judy will love you way more.
Panam is straight forward, only if you are in the Male body though. Male body, any voice.

If you want the true ending to this game. Complete every mission, every NYPD call out, cyber psycho, then OH WAIT
Nearly forgot, Johnny’s friendship. If it’s low with you, he will be an ass and some parts will he more insulting then others and sorta sting
If it’s high, he’ll seam like your best friend who’s 100% nova with all your decisions except the government one cause duh.

Date Judy, doing all her quests
Panam mission, doing all her quests and not before getting the panzer telling Saul about it finding him with the ripper doc. Doing that will end your friendship with Panam, or relationship, yet Saul will give you a cool car.

Complete it and if you dated Judy, get a very special ending where, out of all the endings, this is the only one

If you make a video for this, I wouldn’t mind a shout out. Always nice to be credited ya know.
I'm leaning toward the Crystal Palace ending being the one that ends up canon, personally.
@@blackhat4206 I feel like that’s the best ending for lonely V meaning you didn’t form a relation with Panam or Judy.
@TheSpaceKnights If best means happiest ending, I'd agree. I'm sure you're aware Panam can appear in that ending, as well. Although, she doesn't plan on sticking around if I recall correctly. It's also the one that features Mr. Blue Eyes, who seems even more significant to the direction the story may be headed now that the dlc is out. After all, truly happy endings don't happen for anyone in Night City.
@@blackhat4206 Only if you manage to get out, yea.
Oh and I’m aware, same to Judy. Both girls leave you, wanting better things and upset at you wasting away. Like dex says, would you rather go out in a blaze of glory (Crystal Palace), or live to a ripe old age (Nomads).
@TheSpaceKnights The Nomad ending leaves the possibility open that you might find help, but V is still dying. That hope for a light at the end of that tunnel seems more dim now that we've seen how NUSA and Arasaka handle "helping" V. Neither of those options turns out particularly well, but one is much more hopeful than the other.
Did you get your revenue back yet
I did :)
