I had the strangest dnf just now, figured you'd like to hear it, i got loose off of turn 2 in Michigan in the Cup series, kept it just barely from hitting the wall until the caution comes out, but i'm still spinning, can't control the car anymore and it smacks the wall, wasn't that hard of a hit so i hit "pit" and repair the damage and wait for the race to restart, "ready, GREEN GREEN GREEN" but before even the first "Green" can come out "DNF" is displayed, and my car continues to race on in control of ai, strangest stuff honestly
One time I just barley hit the catch fence with the tail of the car and got a DNF. Another time I slammed the brakes to avoid a wreck and the AI didn't and rear ended me and I got another DNF

anyone else notice at 5:11 the truck in front on Austin hill was driving on 2 wheels for a second.
Knee pit gaming setups are gear towards his race style, there good base setups, you need to adjust it more to your style off how you want it to feel, he does state this in his videos
I've got the same problem at Richmond in this game. Every time on corner entry, I feel like the front springs are way too soft & it's just on the splitter. Richmond is junk. 🙃
Use the recommended set and make the car loose and you'll do better I won in a 4 star ride on the hardest difficulty

I use kneepit as well. He says in his videos that the trucks and xfinity run tighter and you will have to move wedge down.

In NASCAR HEAT 4 I noticed that, at Richmond in the Xfinity Series, I could not beat the other cars in Joe Gibbs Racing, and Team Penske

Try lowing your psi on the right. Start at like 35psi cause the air pressure goes up in the run. 50psi yo start is high on the right I think
If your having trouble being tight in the center but being loose off, try lowering the wedge and the right track bar

I love these DNFs. You have to race the AI like you would race people in Iracing to be safe.
The AI are rediculously OP at Richmond, Pocono, and Sonoma, but especially at Richmond, it has been an issue since at least Heat 4, can't remember if it was in Heat 3 or not, but yeah, still unresolved, they don't seem to care to even address it, seems like all of their focus is on multiplayer issues.
Really is a shame codemasters Isn't making a Nascar game. Because f1 is fantastic.

I found at Richmond the looser the better and no custom setup and I crushed in a 4 star ride
Looser will make your rear-end come around just enough to rap the bottom

I guess the ai at Richmond is still super op. I always put the difficulty on hard for Richmond
704 said they made Richmond less OP for the ai but that's simply not the case lol. Also, I'm pretty sure Xfinity runs Richmond twice a year too, so idk if this race was skipped like the Atlanta truck race.
I was racing trucks in career mode and the first corner first lap at Texas I got in a wreck and got a DNF lol I got triggered
I was racing at Kentucky in xfinity and on the last restart I spun of the apron after sending it. My car spun all the way around so I went mode first into the wall and I immediately dnfed and flipped over. An actual fatality

If the truck/car doesn't rotate in the corner, play with the shocks and the wedge. Here (don't ask) I use 1,000 for left and right front and 350/480 for the rear, and a 50.3 wedge, I can turn with that lol. Like I said I have 0 clue how
They went from DNF not working to it being ridiculously easy. Then I find it funny when it says DNF but yet they show the car still running. They still haven't fixed the rim color glitch which is annoying me at this point.
Why is my car extremly SLOW at martinsville?? I can't even get a lap completed without getting passed by everyone!!! This happens to me in every series in heat 4!!!

I think the spin was due to heavy braking and high revs and went into neutral for a split second :)

I feel like there has to be people better to media with some of these teams, and it is not fun, especially if credentials via the team or the track is serious, Radman, and I feel Ruch is making a farce of the Series.
They made richmond slightly better than it was in H4 but the AI are still crazy fast and it's almost impossible to beat them.

I believe Richmond is just terrible. I used to love Richmond until 704 took over.
Probably because 704 balanced it way in the CPU favor. I remember in the days of nascar thunder you could make the car super loose and you could lap the field in like 40 laps.

Try moving the AI skill spread to normal instead of narrow. Will make a bigger difference on the fastest and slowest and prevent you from bouncing between winning and running 20th I think

I can't seem to get the the championship in the truck series on this game. I've tried. But hasn't happen yet. And I DNF in the Xfinity series. Sucks.

I think somethings wrong with Richmond in these games. I had the same problem last year. It's so difficult to slow down enough on the turns.
I don't have trouble with Richmond. Just take out some wedge. I can't seem to do well at California and Vegas

You're in one of the first pit stalls and this game doesn't exit you straight out it turns you to the right then lines you up so you lose time on pit road
Truck & Xfinity 13% and Cup 25%
Tracks aren't balanced. Places like Bristol are extremely easy on even the hardest settings while some tracks you are going to be mid pack regardless of what you do. Richmond and Phoenix are kicking my ass but Bristol and Kansas are a breeze. Mike Harmon is the GOAT on NH5 he should run a 2nd car on the Bobby Carter team in cup it would be over
You really shouldn’t even be expecting to win or even come close when you’re a rookie in your first season. Think of the turmoil real drivers go through. You can be leading and get taken out by lapped traffic and write your whole day off. You need to be more accepting of the lows of the sport. You want all the highs without the lows.. that’s not going to equal a realistic experience.
That first race it was because you were entering and exiting the corners pretty bad.
try adjusting the wedge to free the car up

It's fine to have DNFs but the aspects going into them need to be correct as well. If a car is stopped on the track there should be a caution and you shouldn't have gotten one because the caution was supposed to be out. And if you cross the finish line, you should get the credit not a DNF if you wrecked crossing the line. The scoring system is seriously broken
If you had strict yellows turned on, that DNF wouldn't have happened. Just saying.
It's not the truck. You have a 5 star ride. The custom setup is what is screwing you up.

Richmond is complete garbage on NH4 too, the AI just does ridiculous laps that no setup or human can match. Seems like the same on H5
