You have to put strict yellows on, with less frequent mechanical failures
Even normal it s okay, mechanical failers dont happen that much
I was just about to comment this cuz I do exactly this and I think it makes it much more realistic in terms of number of cautions and what brings out the caution
In my experience, strict cautions maybe occur twice at most in a 25% race. Idk if it happens more for others.
Austin I have Strict on with 25% and have had 1-2 cautions a race, unless I'm being a dick and can't drive

Relaxed cautions is supposed to be any wreck with two or more cars and strict is one car or more. That was a wreck of multiple cars

I agree relaxed yellow is much better when playing career mode. It allows you to see a lot of wrecks and is more realistic in my opinion

Put mechanical failures to infrequent or none and put strict cautions on and you won’t have many yellow flags

I feel like they put on the Jokes like the Ritz this NASCAR Heat. I feel like at some point in analog NASCAR, they'd have to have Racers who'd at least be knowing equipment and the golden rule of Video Games would be the Engine Room is nonnegotiable, and I feel they try out and then some, other than not letting William Byron win like the 1965 Southern 500, which the parents would not like, but, this is out of control letting a team that otherwise would have been a Pontiac or Oldsmobile Team get big credibility.

It is. Timmy hill won on iracing using the cheapest wheel and a laptop. You'll be fine

If you spin out and the game doesn’t throw a caution just drive backwards for a second and a caution will get thrown

Edit: sometimes on strict if a AI can make it to the pits with a blown engine or tires, they caution won't fly. Just heads up!

I disagree with your assessment on the strict yellow. A caution does not come out every 5 minutes or 10 for that matter. Unless you just drive reckless the whole time. Relaxed yellows are not balanced at all.
Setup is like HEAT 4 and the temperature needs to be 245

Take wedge down to 45% and tape down to 25% next time u play then u will be alot faster trust me it's what I do all the time

I think so. I notice during the races there will be cars sitting in the pits after they are in a bad wreck for the rest of the race. I haven’t actually checked the race results to see if it is an actual DNF.
