This game was so involved, from the Fox commentary to to paint booth, damage models, etc. I wish the Heat games were more like this.

Nah, actually there isn't.
Hardest part about N15 is setting the AI to the right difficulty. I generally would do a short Quick Race to see where they fit best at for each track, and then (at the beginning of the career with minimal R&D) would set the career race to 5-10% below what I had the AI at for the Quick Race. There's a very fine line between blowing the field away and getting demolished by them.
5 years late, but I will start doing this! I got nascar 15 recently and this is the best advice

also what you don't use on budget you get to keep the money for upgrades. those upgrades allowed you to get better equipment in the Budget place before the race
The duel you won puts you in the second row

You can push them on the straights, but not in the corners, and sometimes not in the triovals. Also, they (the AI) will push you when on the radar they are blue.

Tim10ery yeah that's what I was thinking because he's going to get tires anyways and the fuel can last almost the whole race at 15% races.

When you qualify the top two positions are always locked in for the Daytona 500 first and second. Every other position in qualifying is thrown out and the finish of the duels make out third through the rest of the field. That’s why you are starting third
You have to put the logo on in the paint booth, look to the left for sponsors
I recommend staying with this paint scheme until you get some big sponsors. Then you should tinker with the vynls until you have something cool and unique.
You are able to put a sponsor on the car. It's in the paint booth. And also you should run 15% races.

15 - 20% race length will be fine with x2 tires and gas.
If you go to Paint Booth, you scroll to the sponsors page for your career car. Then you can put it on the car.

NASCAR 05? Don't think I've ever seen gameplay for that game before. I know a 2005 PC game by the name of NASCAR SimRacing by the same company though.

career mode in 15' is ridiculously easy at superspeedways (and anywhere to be completely honest) do 4x wear and 15%, add last place starts for an extra challenge

have you tried driving on road courses? They have some right turns for your car lmao

It is possible i did it in nascar 14 i did a 50% race and the difficulty at 100 i was just patience and during the first pit stop i came down got 2 tires and fuel came out in first and after that the draft couldnt catch me i had like a 10 second lead maybe it was a glitch.
