This is why crossovers dominate the market, it's not the most fun to drive but they are versatile and easy to live with especially if you have a family, or getting old.

Not with problematic JATCO CVT... Which in the past was the worst on the market. We do not know the reliability of current generation CVT in Rogue, but judging from the past, I would be rather skeptical...
Has Honda fixed the oil dilution problem?

Honda interior looks ugly. Nissan is better, more technology, it looks more premium
Nissan's Jatco CVT is the problem though.
Honda's interior is among the best!
Both cars have tinted windows...the CRV just has the fronts tinted along with the rear

When comparing both vehicles heated seat's,your emphasis was made towards nissan that they dont have it,but with the honda youre not even certain if they do offer that,so just so you know,nissan does offer it

Great channel Sam, I've watched a ton of your vidz.
I've narrowed my 2021 choices to the; Rogue, Rav4, CRV, and the CX5.
But now I'm stuck.
- While the CX5 has the best body, the infotainment system sucks.
- The CRV seems like the obvious choice, but its ugly.
- The RAV4 is a top rival, but the infotainment system sucks, and its ugly.
- The Rogue is what I want, but I'm concerned about spending $47K on a simple vehicle, when I could get a used Lexus for the same price.
Information constipation is what I have right now, do you have any advice?

@@nsm7500 Often people forget that car is an investment and you should protect it by investing in a reliable vehicle with good resale value. Nissan Rogue sucks in resale value and has already 4 recalls in 5 months compared to CRV, RAV4 and CX5.
This is my dilemma, I’m literally choosing between the same vehicles. Did you make a decision?

Cvt=yuk na cx5 with a tourqe converter trans would be the wiser choice in my opinion.
Mazda's ancient 6 speed isn't as good.
NO oil dilution vs oil dilution ... not difficult to make the decision ...

It seems that he wants to be paid, he does not know how to be impartial and leave opinions to those who watch the video. Nissan cvt transmissions don’t last. Interior and exterior plastic parts crack and break off after a couple of years. Just trade it before you get 50k miles and Nissans are great. Meanwhile the crv breaks 300k miles with no issues.

Both vehicles are too small for my taste. I’m happy with my Nissan Murano
Press it hard while making turn and you will find out that the crappy CVT will not change its ratio while you are going straight with 60mph at 6000 rpm. Most Murano owners do not know this because they do not push their SUV hard enough. I know, and I can replicate this dangerous condition at least every other time when I try. Nissan shop manager died not even want to take a ride with me so I could demonstrate what the problem is. Complained to Nissan, but they did nothing. At the end I filed complaint with NTHSA...That is all I could do. Never more Jatco CVT for me...

@@spol1622 you ain't lying....been a problem since the first gen Murano! It would just drone under hard throttle when already doing 45 or higher...overtakes took soooooo long on the highway in my sister's 07!
1) you have to wave your foot directly under the center ( license plate area) .. on the Nissan to open the trunk and you must have the key.
2) the Nissan is not turbo charged
3)The Nissan Rogue had better tech than the CRV for the last 2 generations
4)CRV has no pilot assist
5) The seats are more comfortable in the rogue
Nissan's CVT is notoriously unreliable.
Rogue crushes Honda. 10x better and more advanced in all areas.
Cvt transmission, I heard really bad stories about Nissan transmission.
The Nissan will not even last 100k miles... Honda easy go 600k Honda makes the best engines in the world... Honda and Toyota are the most reliable cars in the world.. Honda Lane keep assist is much better.. And honda CVT transmission has a launch gear before it kicks into the CVT.. mush faster.. and Honda makes its own transmission one of the best CVT out.. even comparing the older Honda to the new Nissan.. Honda wins hands down..

I own a 2021 platinum rogue .. the New cvt is a lot better . Believe it or not it’s actually quicker than a rav 4 because it has cvt that mimics a 9 speed .
Apple Carplay Music and Map is disabled when the 2021 Rogue is moving.
Start driving and try to select a song from the Music app. Nope Songs, Artist, Albums, Playlist all disabled!
Ok let's go to the Apple Map app and select a address destination. Nope can't do that either!
Just spent the day on the phone with Apple and Nissan. Nissan disabled these Apple Play features when you are driving to keep you and your passenger safe. It doesn't appear there is any setting to enable these features. I should have bought a Volvo which has Apple Play and everything works - tried it with my same iphone that I used in the Rogue. Thanks Nissan for disabling features I'm paying for.

I have 2021 and no problem with Android, other than having to have a pristine USB cord connection. Are you trying to control the app through the phone or the screen? Did you try using USB instead of Bluetooth? Did you give Nissan all permissions when set up? All the apps in the computer is coming from my phone. Apps have to be downloaded and you have to enable all the assistant options on phone...
I had a few problems at first so thought I'd share 😄
@@drivethrupoet new usb cable, Apple on the phone going through the process of setting up and grant permissions on iphone, bluetooth works fine but AppleCarPlay with USB does not. All apps show up on screen. I think I've done everything I can do. Still doesn't work.
