If you express your heartfelt needs, wants, & desires to a man & he takes it as you being needy and/or dramatic, then he is not the one for you. A man who is secure within himself & emotionally intelligent will listen to understand & respond calmly in both his tone & answer. ❤

Sometimes what a man could call “drama” is a woman’s natural emotional reaction to his mistreatment.
Yup. Big sign he’s an abuser if he does that. Not all abusers are physical
But that drama comes after a period of time. So leave...... leave the man before it turns into a lot of drama

I hope there is a distinction between really bringing up "drama" vs. bringing up situations that require emotional work and are still important to attend to. I've been called "dramatic" when men don't feel like taking accountability for their bad behavior. A lot of times things can trigger a person based on their past and as long as they feel safe to make that concession, having a man who is willing to dig into feelings can actually heal that wound. Avoiding anything emotional isn't okay either, and I feel like it's much harder for men to be able to tell the difference sometimes.
100%. That’s what I was thinking & couldn’t word it that well. They’ll all say they want a peaceful woman, but then many will engage in behaviors that rob her of her peace & then want to throw it back on “she shouldn’t be reacting” [bc that makes him look bad].

Some men unfortunately do not recognize or relate to attractive, genuine, sincere traits in women... They may give the appearance of a well put together man who has his life together but when in a relationship wants a woman to ONLY pamper his ego. Therefore, he doesn't really see 'her' and all that she has to offer. The growth and awareness that could come from deeply connecting with one woman.
Unhealed, traumatized men are stuck in this unhealthy cycle. Until they take responsibility and do the healing work they will not be able to see 'her' and her attractive traits clearly. They will end up projecting onto the women their unhealed pain/defensiveness/insecurity from low self-esteem, over sensitive ego.
I agree that women should make an effort and have attractive traits but no one is perfect. You need two healthy adults with a healthy level of self-esteem/confidence, who can handle relationship dynamics with maturity and humility.

My relative loves talking bout topics she knows annoys me. I started hanging up as soon as she starts that and now she's learned to respect me and she no longer talks about those things. It's made life good. You must teach others how to treat you! I don't do drama.
My ex boyfriend is the drama. I tried to give him a second chance tho. Hoping he had changed over 10 years…. But then he asked me, don’t you miss a little excitement in your life ?? AKA drama. I told him no I have come from the ground up from palm trees to the burbs I enjoy my peace! So we only lasted for three months. He was still about the drama.
Peace and quiet is what I have and will maintain that. If its disturbed, thats when the problem starts.
Number one don't sleep around. Be highly selective about who you are intimate with.
Number two do not be reactive. Think before you respond.
Number three be honest and kind (the two need to go together).
Be humble not arrogant. Never assume you are right.
This is also highly attractive in a man.
Holding myself with the regard of avoiding the drama to respect my own mental health and the emotional impact it could have on me

There is definitely a line between drama and playful banter. Banter can be fun and flirtatious, but some people, both men and women, take it poorly and resort to anger. I think there are men and women who want the playful banter, but they've never practiced or built up the self confidence for it and it becomes a fight. Or they just think drama and playful banter are the same altogether which is draining.

Stephan, I run away from drama..but there are times it chases you. I find being a joyful person attracts negative ppl who want to test it (joy) or us, if it is real. So, sometimes as a woman we will want to tell our counterpart. I'm not going to front men seem more peaceful than women, but I can't hang out with a bunch of men with a partner. I love seeing men work together at the gym and free flowing. Now of course not all men are drama free, but enjoy choas. I began to notice most women didn't want peace when I went on a planned cruise (what we would do) with a bunch of girlfriends interconnected through other relationships..and it was nothing but drama because of outfits and whatever jealousy arose. I was sadly disappointed because then one person would say I'm not doing that, which we planned, but instead stayed in the room. I was just happy one of the females in the group not even a close friend decided to do most of the activities with me..which was a God factor. I went thinking we would have the best time ever to weird jealousy. So, fellas you do have a drama free woman unfornately not all her friends will be even when she thought they were.

Exactly, when a man gets emotional, self-pitiful, complaining or gossiping, don't let him drag you into it ladies. Walk away and don't go down his path. Otherwise, if you respond, he will say that you're being dramatic. Just exit right away. Save yourself. You'll be glad you did later.
Love this! I have a different take on drama now, my 84 year old mother lives with me. I’m an introvert & she’s an extrovert. These older folks are like high school. 🤣 I find myself refereeing these women.🙃 Learning how to protect my peace & my wonderful mom. (No I don’t have a brother or sister to call.). Lol🤣🤣🤣

This is an interesting opinion coming from a man. I would agree that most men are not attracted to dramatic and argumentative women....... However, it often surprises me to see so many dramatic, crazy as hell, argumentative women who are most certainly married. 🤷🏾♀️
