    What a tutorial! At the beginning I thought this is waaay over my skill level and something I just won't be able to do, but explained it so well that I'm pretty confident and going to give this a shot right now.
    You have a nice way of explaining stuff, glad I found your channel!

    I think sheen is supposed to be used to emulate materials like velvet and satin, it doesn't really make sense to just whack it up to one on something like a wool texture

    I was able to use your tutorial to add fuzz to a project I'm working on but I don't know what step I'm missing that would keep the fuzz attached to the mesh after rigging the mesh.
    If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated!
    At the moment the fuzz stays in place when the mesh moves, so there's like a ghostly fuzz outline where the mesh used to be.

    Just asking,but is it possible to export my shirt with the fuzzy particle as a game asset?

    • @_e8a
      @_e8a 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i dont think so. im not in the industry, but i suspect the ideal way is to render the shirt + particle with basic lighting from various angles (front, back) and create a texture atlas from those images. then use the Shirt mesh and UV unwrap, it could prove to be challenging- but there may be different ways to do it. Hopefully rendering the texture and UV Unwrappingwill be akin to 'baking' the particle onto the mesh texture.
