Thanks so much. I'm planning on going to a show this coming weekend. I'm hoping for that much vintage stuff at that one too. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Taking the time for both really means a lot to me.
I know, right!! I do have his contact information and he said he'll be back in the area for the next show in a couple of months. I'll definitely continue to hit his table when he's around. He had so much stuff I didn't have nearly enough time to go through all of it. But, I couldn't be happier with the cards that I picked up from him. And boy, he was such a great guy. A retired teacher and super friendly. Couldn't recommend him more.
@@MidLifeCards very cool .. Just my opinion , but the best dealers to find are the ones with surplus to sell that are just happy to make some extra money as they likely have little to no personal money invested and whatever return they get is 100 % profit .
In-between buying "big cards", I love finding raw HOF beaters for super cheap. Usually it's cards I wouldn't bother buying graded and it scratches my collecting itch while I save up money for a target card. The yogi and Williams were a hell of a deal
Yeah. I've bid on that card many times over the years. I love that card and the 51 bowman. The fact that this one was centered was really awesome. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Thanks!!
I totally agree. I'm currently obsessed with them. I love the Duke Snider card so much. I have a video that will be posting tomorrow that is on the 1952 Topps set, which is another one of my favorites. :-)
This was a fun show with a ton of vintage. I made the video pretty long so everyone could see all the cool vintage content. I had a couple of cool finds that I was able to purchase, too!! Thanks for your continued support.
If you weren't across the country, that would be great. :-) I'd even treat you for lunch!! Looking forward to watching your latest video of the show you did. When I get home from work today, that's on my to do list. Appreciate the love S.T.
New subscriber here! I joined purely on the manner in which you SLOWLY displayed the showcases & included the comps for each card you purchased. 👍 At my age, I get dizzy watching the younger channels 😵💫
Well welcome aboard. I appreciate that feedback, and I'll be sure to keep that in mind when recording at future card shows!! Appreciate you watching, subscribing, and commenting. Thank you!!
For sure. Come check it out. It's near Roseville. Probably about 1 hour and 40 minutes from Chico. That's where you're at, right? My brother is a professor at Chico State. Tons of vintage. If vintage is your thing, this show is a must.
You're the 3rd person that caught that. I missed it at the show. Next time I see him at the show I'm gonna take a look and see if he still has it. GREAT eye!!
Appreciate the kind words. It was a fun day. Mitch is a cool guy with a lot of awesome cards. Thanks for watching and commenting. It really means a lot to me.
@@jcslater310 no doubt things have changed a lot. I really think the reason grading popped up is eBay. It’s easier and safer to buy online if it’s graded. But I agree, it has changed things a lot.
What a great show with some really nice cards makes me wish I still lived in Northern California! The Berra, Williams, and Doby cards you picked up were great purchases, love those cards. Think that 71 Munson you were looking at was an O-Pee Chee. enjoyed the video thanks for sharing
What fun seeing my table on your TH-cam video! Glad that you are happy with your purchases from me. I was afraid no one would even sniff at those creased up '50 Bowman Berra and Williams. Glad they found a good home. I've got you subscribed now. Keep the videos coming and maybe see you at some more shows in the future.
Mitch!! I'm glad you found my channel!! I was planning to contact you to let you know that I gave you some great shout outs and posted your contact information for others to get ahold of you. I'm a rare breed that truly doesn't care about condition, as I mentioned to you at the show (and in the video). I just love having the vintage cards. As a teacher it's about all I can afford. But I really appreciate the story behind the card that has been "well loved." I hope some people that see the video reach out to you. Whenever I have a long feature on a video, people are always asking me if I have their contact information. When the dealer is especially nice, I try to post their information for them...when I have it. :-) Appreciate the deals so much and love the cards. I have no doubt I'll be a repeat customer in the future. Thanks for leaving a comment and for subscribing!!
@@kellymelonekellymelonekard3087 I'll let Mitch respond as well, but he's from SoCal. Most of his shows are down there. He was up for this show because the promotor met him down there and invited him up. That said, in talking to him, he really enjoyed the show and said he hopes to come back.
Yeah. Great deals at this show. They hold it every three months and it's always a great one. An insane amount of vintage at a show of only 80 tables. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I'm planning on heading to a card show this weekend. I'm hoping the dealers have as much good stuff at this one!! Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm a big EFL fan, so I'm jealous of your ability to attend those in person!! Cheers.
Nice show with all the vintage. U made a real solid deal on the Williams and Doby. I live on the East Coast and our local shows don’t have near as much vintage and getting a deal like u got would be very hard to come by. I have a PSA 5 Doby which have had for many years that I love. I only have a 56 Topps T. Williams, shows very nice, has a wrinkle on it. I heard u mention your 500 giveaway so I am looking forward to that. Really hope I get the Ryan auto , that would be really awesome. Keep these entertaining vintage videos coming , really enjoy them.
The 500 Subscriber Giveaway video posted over the weekend. Good luck on that for sure. I always appreciate your comments. This show in Sacramento is 3-4 times per year and has tons of vintage. The promoter is a vintage guy and he tries really hard to bring in new vintage dealers all the time. I've been to shows in San Francisco, and it's mostly new stuff and Pokemon. This show is WAY better for vintage even though its 20% the size. Thanks, as always.
Great recap of show! I had to pause the video on that Berra card back and still went back and forth on whether it lists him as 133 pounds or 183 pounds (the latter would be more aligned with his listed 185 on Baseball Reference). Nice buys to start the year!
Sir, my Vets, and I, LOVE watching your videos! Thank you so much, for posting them, and for your kind comments, in the past. 🇺🇸
I’m glad I can bring joy to your Vets. For all you guys have done for us, it’s the least I can do. Thanks for your support!!

California must be the place to go for vintage
It really is.
Man i love those old Goudeys!!!
Me too!! I was just commenting to someone else about how they're some of my all time favorite cards.
Love the video and commentary brother!

There's some really nice vintage at that show...nice!

Jealous of that Ted Williams. Very nice!

That Thurman was an OPC back!! 16$ was a steal

I’d have paid $60 for that
