Congrats Graig on such a great pickup. Andy is very fair. I purchased the Stahl Meyer Mays from him online. He’s a pleasure to work with. The Johnson looks awesome!
Another great buy and a stunning example of Walter Johnson T206. I have an old SGC 2 well centered but super creased another Polar Bear but if graded now easily a 1.5. You got a great deal.
You picked up my dream card. I need that Walter Johnson for my 3000 K graded rookie card collection. I truly cannot be more happier for you. Wow what a purchase! And the card is absolutely gorgeous good stuff Graig you
Graig, what an epic day and what an epic Walter Johnson! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥I was blessed to see you and hold your glorious biggest card purchase ever! 🤯🤯🤯 Congrats, my collecting brother! 😊👊
There were probably literally TONS of inexpensive cards as well at the 2024 National in Cleveland! For example, I saw a dealer rummaging through dollar boxes and pulling out cards he believed he could sell for more! 😊👊
@@MidLifeCards You clearly had fun and will have a lifetime of memories getting your grail card. It was certainly worth it. Please I hope you didn’t take my comment as disapproval. It wasn’t. I’m very happy for you.
WE will go in November, but this is a WONDERFUL preview! The '57 Mays is pure class. I like the '60 myself and have a "tragic" story behind that card. That '19 Mathewson is SO nice and I am pondering that one. Wouldn't the Cleveland Naps be better than Guardians? "BIG TRAIN" 3509 has left the Station ... GREAT VID!
we won a pristine auction with a bid at two min remaining for a CJ Stroud Ohio St Helmet signed-the kicker is that my son just graduated from OSU in May Unbelievably great time
Like given Graig, great pickups! Awesome that you and your dad share a common interest in cardboard! Loved the Cracker Jack display! Awesome Walter Johnson, that is my favorite card of his. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed the tour 👍👍Have a great time at the Nat'l, I'm sure you already are though. Until next time ✌out
When I see cards like these on display, my collection seems like it was used in bicycle spokes by comparison. That Walter Johnson you bought, my word, what a spectacular 3! I have a feeling that and the Banks will be your July pickups. You think? The Peckinpaugh for $125 seems like a steal, also.
Great looking 3. Grades have almost become arbitrary. Eye appeal is what dictates card values now. The grade gives you an area to start, but the eye appeal dictates the real value.
Great footage! I love the way you did this. I learned some good techniques.
That’s an amazing Walter Johnson!!
@JunkWaxHero Thanks a bunch, Mike.
Congrats Graig. Amazing pickups!
Thanks. It was an awesome time.
Hi Graig that Walter Johnson is awesome. Thanks for the tour.
Thanks so much.
Love these videos. Stuck on the west coast but the next best thing to being there. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed the videos!!
That collection was just bonkers.
That Walter Johnson- what a beauty! Congratulations on that big T206 HOFer of The Big Train!
Thanks so much. I'm thrilled with the card.
Congrats Graig on such a great pickup. Andy is very fair. I purchased the Stahl Meyer Mays from him online. He’s a pleasure to work with. The Johnson looks awesome!
Thanks Sammy. Cool to know he's the dealer you got the Stahl Meyer from.

Quite the pickup! That is a spectacular Walter Johnson!

Great pickups. Those Cracker Jack cards are sweet. Looks like your dad got an excellent looking Mays card.
The Mays he got is a beauty.
Congrats on the Johnson! Really appreciate seeing the cases and your videos for those of us not there. Cheers
I'm so glad that you enjoyed the videos.

Gorgeous WalterJohnson! I am a Senatros/Twins collector. Would love to have that card.
I'm so lucky to have it.
Wow, that's the best looking 3 I've ever seen and a T206 Walter Johnson. Congrats, Graig --- big big card!
Thanks so much. I'm super happy to have added it to my collection.
Wow, I wasn't expecting such a big purchase today after the Banks yesterday. Congrats, Graig!
Thanks. I kinda busted the bank. But YOLO
That’s an amazing Big Train card!
Thank you.
Gorgeous Walter Johnson card, I sure wish I was there
Thanks. I'm fortunate to have it.
That is a stunning Walter Johnson!
Thanks so much.
That Willie Mays card is a nice looking card.
A beauty!!
I spent $200 on a card twice in my 51 years. That place looks awesome, but I'd be a fish out of water.
I’d be flopping on the ground with you. Most I spent is $190 on a single card once.
There were probably literally TONS of inexpensive cards as well at the 2024 National in Cleveland! For example, I saw a dealer rummaging through dollar boxes and pulling out cards he believed he could sell for more! 😊👊
@@vintagesanctuary that’s awesome. I didn’t have the time to go through boxes this year. Maybe next! 👊🏻
I spent tones of money. I couldn't help myself.

Nice Kings sweatshirt!
Thanks!! Go Kings.

Great stuff. Please keep posting your videos. Really love what you do.
That means a lot. Thank you.
Jaw dropping cards ❤
Thanks so much.
That T206 is a great card
Thank you.
Oh my, that Walter Johnson is super sweet. You've definitely picked up some big boy cards at the National.
I got a couple of the big ones I wanted.
Oh my goodness! That Johnson has to be the most beautiful card I've ever seen! I want one too. Big congrats!
Thanks. I'm thrilled to have picked it up.
Wow!! Nice Walter Johnson.
I appreciate it.
Congratulations on another spectacular purchase!
Thank you so much 😀
I was at Tim Payne’s booth yesterday next to a guy who dropped $4.6K cash on about a dozen ungraded cards for 3 set builds. Crazy stuff at that booth!
Wow. Incredible.....He has such great cards.

Thanks so much. Glad you liked the video.
Thanks for sharing, I hope to make it to a national one day.
It’s a trek and not cheap, but it’s such a fun experience.
Congrats on the BIG pickups! I think I bought an actual pickup truck for less once! Lol! Those are just awesome. What a show
LOL. That's hilarious.
thanks for taking the time to show all this. what is/was the ask on that psa 8 Joe Jackson?
That Joe Jackson was on display by one of the auction houses. Will hit the auction block soon.
Show the high en tables 250k+ I'd be curious to see the heavy hitters
Most of the top cards were on display with the auction houses. I showed quite a bit of those.
I was super happy with all of my pickups at the show. A super experience.
Very nice pickups! So many great looking cards. The display with the Cracker Jacks was a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
Super glad you liked it!!
Nice Peckinpaug - enjoyed meeting you tonight. Crazy nice collection - thanks for sharing. That Anson is unreal!
Thanks for saying hello. This community is filled with such great people.
I saw Tim paynes tables last year. Would of liked to see his other sports cases.
I showed some of his football, but his basketball case was mostly 80s
Wow!! Do you have any card money left” 😮😅
No much!! LOL.
Great looking 3. Grades have almost become arbitrary. Eye appeal is what dictates card values now. The grade gives you an area to start, but the eye appeal dictates the real value.
Eye appeal is all that matters to me.
You’re a bad influence! That is all. 😂
LOL.
Do me a solid Graig & slip that 1954 Red Heart Mantle in your pocket. I’ll send you my mailing address later. 😉
I love that 54 Mantle so much.
Kept refreshing until you uploaded - lol
That’s nice of you. I’m wiped, but I wasn’t gonna sleep until I posted the video.
That walter johnson is sweet. Great pickup
Thanks so much.
