One of the most common phrases in card collecting is, "buy what you like." Well, what if we like cards that nobody else likes? Should we still buy those cards? Are we influenced by what others are buying and collecting, or are we doing our own thing? When dealing with anything regarding supply and demand, we are all intertwined together, and decisions that are made from other collectors has a ripple effect on others. If we buy cards that nobody else likes, are we wasting our money? Should we buy cards that others like, but we don't? Well, it's complicated. In this video we take a long look at the topic of buying what we like, and whether that's actually a smart move, when collecting vintage sports cards.
