I agree, museum cards are nice to look at but I watch TH-cam to see cards I can afford. Thursday definitely was nuts, the food lines and bathroom lines were out of control! Thanks for watching man!
@@BugzMcgutz You’re very welcome! A lot of the raw vintage is in binders and boxes…. Seems like the big HOF cards are all getting graded now. But there are some just seems less and less.
Hi Theo, Thanks for your coverage of The National. Your camera work is spot on and some of the best that I have seen at The National. I couldn’t believe the quality vintage cards. For example the T206 cards were so plentiful! I’ll bet that seeing all your friends and meeting new people is right up there with the cards for your enthusiasm. Have a great time and be safe! Best Wishes, Peter

I may come up Saturday so if there maybe I will run into you if there. I am sure I will have a Clemente shirt on probably his 55 or the early 70's jersey LOL
Always love talking to other Clemente Collectors! Yes I’ll be there tomorrow, if I see a Clemente jersey, I’ll say hello and hopefully it will be you, LOL!
Great coverage Theo, really well done. Also, a great interview with the dealer early in the video...and I thought his prices were extremely fair...unlike the one with all the autographs towards the end. Way out of line on some of those.
Thanks so much Mike! Yeah I’m no autograph expert but I thought the same, felt like they were trying to be a museum. Glad to share for some guys that didn’t make it!
Great video and, yeah... I bailed right about 1pm yesterday. The sheer amount of people coming in that entrance way was just absolutely insane. I just saw video of the line to get in from about 11 am this morning and leaving a day earlier than I had planned was the correct decision. Got 2+ walks around the entire show floor between the Wed preview and the first half of Thursday and loved it. Cannot imagine what it is like in that place, right now, at 3pm EST as I post this. You could double that floor space with the number of attendees and buyers walking in and that's just crazy.
Yes I agree, the space was too small for the numbers they had! I heard trade night was really bad, they had to turn ppl away and it was too crowded. I definitely enjoyed Wednesday the best, as far as foot traffic! Thanks for watching and letting me know your thoughts!
I was there on Friday. Wait it line was my first hour experience. Dealers had high prices in general and with the crowds were not negotiating much on vintage. Still, at the end of the day, I was able to get decent deals on some cards after several making offers. I could have done with less people!
@@Jimmycardcollector congrats on making some deals! I agree, some dealers are willing to deal and some think it’s fine to be way over comps. Yeah crowd control and traffic was a huge issue! I’ll be making a winners and losers video tomorrow. Thanks for watching!
Controlling corporate area size would definitely go a long way to getting more tables in, but i'm sure these companies are paying a premium for the space so i don't think NSCC will change their tune anytime soon. Unfortunate since the PSA area alone takes up 10-15 table spaces.
@@OhioCardVault Yeah I agree, too much money to pass up. But I barely walked into it, I was there for cards! The hobby has gotten so big, the I X center may be too small, or as you said, they might want to rethink the corporate area. Thanks for watching!
