Literally using this mix but trading the olive oil for grape seed oil (because I hate the smell of olive oil on my hair) and removing the sweet almond oil coz my scalp is allergic to it

throw in some Rosemary essential oil. use one drop. its very strong, if you use more, you can become sensitive to it.

I've just made my second bottle and it's AMAZING!
After showering I use a mixture of Palmer's cocoa butter & Bio oil to moisturize my skin and apply this body oil over it.
I'm 26yrs old and for the first time in my life my underboob darkness and the darkness from my rubbing thighs is fading and evening out with the rest of my skin tone. I also had dark web-like patches on my legs and they have COMPLETELY vanished. [this never happened from only using the Palmer's+Bio oil mix]
My hair is also loving it. My afro has doubled in height since I trimmed it on February 1st this year.
Many blessings *****. You've taught me a lot and even helped solve a problem I'd lost hope in finding a solution for. Keep doing what you do Whitney.

Now I know this is an older video, but let me just say I've been following Whitney for my entire hair journey (4 years) and I'm JUST now trying this and BAAAAABY!!! My hair feels wonderful! My skin too. I only made a small patch because I'm low porosity and was skeptical these oils would just sit on top of my hair, but WOW!! I'll be making a larger batch very soon. As always Whitney, THANK YOU!! Xoxo

I definitely recommend trying this to anyone. My hair and scalp are loving this!! I have 4b-4c hair that is low in porosity, with a couple spritz of water at night I rub this on my hair and its soft and smooth. I wake up with shiny hair, now I didn't follow the recipe exactly because I lost my almond oil so I subbed it with 0.5oz coconut oil and 0.5oz eucalyptus oil(for my overly dry scalp)

Great combination of oils. Thanks for sharing the tip. :-) One last step you can do is add a couple of drops of your favorite scented essential oil(s) for a bit of fragrance. I usually do that by adding a bit of Rose and Sandlewood (which are Essential Oils) and Egyptian Musk (which is a blend).

Whitney--you've done it again! My hair absolutely loves this oil. I used to have a problem with my ends drying out, knotting, and tangling, for instance, when I take down my twists. But since I started using this mixture, by hair feels so soft, and my twists melt apart like butter. I think for me it was the sweet almond oil that took it over the top.

I've used all of these oils in one way or another, after combining them I absolutely LOVE this oil! I think I added a little extra almond oil but his works wonders on my skin and hair. I made a 4oz container of it. I used it to seal my hair after using my aloe and water spritz so a little goes a long way. Thank you for posting this!!

Coconut Oil, 1tsp MSM, 4 Capsules of Biotin (tiny gel caps from Wal-mart), 1tsp.of peppermint tea. It turned out great! I plan on adding the jojoba & vitamin E. Thanks again!

I started using this oil mix approx. 5 months ago and it works! I have very dry/sensitive skin and scalp so I struggled with finding an oil that would clear up this problem so I always worried about flakes popping up when I'm out or whenever, but since using this mixture I have not had that problem at all!! So thankful I sub to Nap (and others) because my hair is healthier for it.

You probably have your own money now, but I’m going to respond for any other teens watching. Play closer attention to the technic and type of product and the purpose of that product than focusing on having exactly what she has.
It would be great if you had all of these products to make the oil. But just using olive oil is going to put you in a much better position than using no oil at all. Same with conditioners, shampoos, gel, etc. The overall point is to have clean, moisturized and tangle-free hair that retains length.

I used my #1 oil, CASTOR!!! It is the bomb on natural hair. I have been using it for well over a year now, and it is very inexpensive, it is thick, but it is fabuloso!!! I will try the olive, castor, jojoba, and Vita E oils together, that sounds like a "hair food" treat to the scalp and hair. Some of the other oils I can't quite afford, but will look into them. Thanks a bunch, for your videos PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING!!! GOOD TO KNOW STUFF!!!

This video is great as are the others by Naptural85. I just made a slightly modified version of this oil. I only used 2oz each of olive oil and jojoba oil and I replaced that missing ounce with an ounce of hemp seed oil. Here's a snippet from the earthlybody site: "When you use products with hemp seed oil on a regular basis, you should experience a dramatic difference in the feel and look of your hair, regardless of whether it is usually oily, dry or normal." Thanks!!

I just used raw honey to lighten my hair so I will need plenty of moisture and a sealant to combat dryness. I will be doing this next. This came right on time. Thanks. :)

Made mine and I'm using it to moisturizer my scalp/ hair while I'm wearing senegalese twists. This feels great on my scalp and allows me to do a hot oil treatment with my twists.

Thank you for this video. I'm going to Wholefoods now :-) I swear by this oil, using it for a hot oil treatment, a daily face wash/moisturizer, and a daily hair sheen. Thank you so much! I'm addicted to Avocado and Sweet Almond Oil thanks to you ;o)

Thanks a lot for sharing this information. I have fallen in LOVE with this oil. I use it for oil cleansing my face everyday, to seal my hair and I add it to my prepoo for deep conditioning. I've also added pumpkin seed oil to it and I go a little heavier with the castor oil for the cleansing properties. I love the mixture so much that I keep a bottle at home and a small bottle to take on the go!! lol I love it. I also add essential oils to it. (yes, I've really remixed your mixture! lol )

I know your question was meant for Naptural. I too use terresentials, but I tried all the sample shampoos first, before purchasing a big bottle. The reason I did this was to see which one worked best for my hair. I can't remember the name but the one with lemons, my hair wasn't to happy with. Lavender Garden was the one my hair loved. What I did was wet my hair first then apply the shampoo, finger comb thru, it rinsed out perfectly for me. Clean & curly curls! What way do you use the shampoo?

I live in the Boston area, and I find that the smaller Whole Foods stores do not carry the large size like the Jojoba oil. I've seen the large size one of their newest super store in Dedham, Massachusetts. However one of the sales women looked in the computer and said she could order the product to be sent to that store for me. The grape seed oil, almond oil, and olive oil are found in the grocery aisle. The castor oil is in the Beauty section. They also have coconut oil in grocery section.

See if you can try peppermint oil, orange oil or lemongrass oil. Lemongrass has a lemony, yet woodsy smell to it. You could also try jasmine oil as well.

Coconut oil solidifies on its own if the temperature is low enough, even in oil mixes without a special ingredient (I forget the name of it) to blend the oils into a uniform consistency.

Great tips! Thank you! I started wearing protective styles (wigs) 4 years ago and my hair hasn't gotten much longer (just past shoulder length) BUT it IS MUCH healthier and thicker and more even but I realize I haven't been keeping it as moisturized as I thought I was :(
