- Come along with me on a beautiful hike from Nantlle to the Western end of the Nantlle Ridge & on up to Craig Cwm Silyn in Snowdonia National Park. The views from the highest summit along the ridge were spectacular across the National Park & out to sea. I am looking forward to completing the full length of the ridge in the not so distant future hopefully!

Love the views from the top. Ive done Snowdon from the Rhyd Ddu path a couple of times and the Nantlle Ridge looks pretty impressive as you gain some height. Looks quite scary in places too from a couple of pictures Ive seen. Thanks for sharing 🙂
They were incredible & as you say, the entire ridge looks pretty impressive - hopefully be able to tackle it one day soon 🤞🏻 I am yet to do Snowdon, mostly due to its ridiculously increased popularity, but I hear from Rhyd Ddu is lovely - thanks again for watching Tony 😊
@@shefreelyroams Ive been up 3 different ways and The Rhyd Ddu route is most definately my favourite. Very quiet when Ive been and the views along the ridge nearing the top are breathtaking. Always managed to park up ok and half the price! Have i sold it to you yet Christine haha 🙂
Very much so Tony! Considering doing it later this year after the Summer crowds have eased a bit so will give the route along the ridge from Rhyd Ddu a try - watch this space … 👍🏻😀

@@shefreelyroams If you are going to do Snowdon, and hope you do I'd recommend a slight alternative to this, ascend via the South Ridge route and descent via Rhyd Ddu path. Makes a nice circular :)
Where did you start from? Was it Maen-llwyd?
No I was staying in Nantlle and walked from there, was a long walk to get to the start! I’d recommend starting in Nebo if you can drive :)
