- Whilst on my search for 'Pianos In Pubs' I came across this wonderful pub called the Tyn-y-Coed in Capel Curig, Betws-y-Coed, in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales and guess what .... Yes, this pub has a piano in the bar and I played a couple of tunes on it. I'd like to say a huge thank you to Ed, the gaffer and staff for looking after us. It is always so funny when you ask for a piano and the pub landlords are so hesitant. As if somebody would be asking for a piano if they can't play at all. However you can play so well, nobody would ever complain, they are all lucky to be able to hear the talent LIVE
If you've ever worked somewhere et. piano, you'd understand why 😅

And then there's the ones that try and pretend it's not happening (like the woman at the table behind you trying to make conversation), so scared that they might crack a smile and, heaven forfend - it's caught on camera!

It is always so great hearing a piano that lets face it looks like it has been closed for a while. Detuned, unregulated and almost abandoned. You give them a new life and once again make them the centre of the room. Great work.

What a Hoot !! Love it . Terry , i used to go to a place in Essex, Connecticut,USA called the Griswold Inn . Its an old place ,real nice.they had a piano and jazz bands . Singing and playing the spoons All of it !! .i used to stoke the fire and add log's in the winter. Great memories. I love you enthusiasm , Cheers
