How do you relate to ESTPs?

    • @100yugansh3

There Se- ni axis makes them a person who dives in to experience and get insights secondarily ...which are difficult to explain..iam hopefully an intp and i can relate to it but the axis is quite different..i use Si library making me cautious at 1st..but once iam fully satisfied i can party like those estps.😅

Great video, you did a good job explaining ESTPs!
As an ESTP myself to answer the IG-question "why they look cool", I'd say it's mostly charisma and vibes. I have a really good mood like 98% of the time and people just like being around someone who gives good vibes, is fun and adventure loving. People describe me as a sunny boy and when I'm somewhere people crowd around me.
Just to add, that it's not just the looks and makeup in my experience. It's mostly the "feel good" vibes! :)

Do you think ESTPs are the best party hosts?

    • @INFJinxed
      @INFJinxed  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

They tend to be quite good at hosting a party and entertaining people. So one of the best for sure 😎 alongside maybe EXFJs.

Texas is where they are in the US. You can insta-friend them, as in you are friends immediate. Weird things happen (Ni) around me with them (the girls), like they will fight with ESFP girls in public right in front of me, and that's normal. Their eyes go to saucers...my eyes go to saucers omg. The clever ones, the boys, will explain that the other kids think they are dumb because they look like ESFP (they ESFP don't like school) and the other kids see them as only physical, because they are, they look like super-heros. As example of a clever ESTP, think Werner von Braun. The girls, their Ni is on after 20 year old and they cycle up and act like ENFJ and cycle down and act like ...very cold.
As a child, it's hilarious to be around them, because they will jump you and ...you are walking on a banister :):):)

      @INFJinxed  4 ปีที่แล้ว

I see what you mean. I do agree ESTPs can act like ENFJs sometimes and the other way around. :) Recent research suggests that their brain responses are very similar.

@@INFJinxed They will flash you a thumbs up (or u can to them) and feel great. I act more like they do when around them.

I'm sorry, do you mean ESTP like you? You're as ESTP as they come, where are you INFJ?...
Objective speech, voice depth, attention to delivery and examples the whole way - very well explained, anchoring every argument from a concrete base, absent of ideas (unmanifested projections) and concepts in favour of a detailed concrete example.
Very sorry, but you're in no way an INFJ. You should connect with a type verifier like kayleigh from my type. She seems to be the best at doing this.
    (With respect).

Renaldo Edmondson thank you for your perspective 😃 It is quite common for people to type others differently when they see them online. And you are entitled to your opinion, of course. However, these things you point out (which are true) are things I have learnt to do because of my profession. Being trained to be a trainer, I was often criticized for being too meraphorical and not objective enough when explaining. Also, after spending years teaching MBTI to others, I often observed that I had to do more Se and Ti in order to get some ideas across. I am proud if I come across as an ESTP now in such a video because it means I am showing more Se and Ti, which are beneficial and helpful to my inner balance and process of individuation. 😊 (But trust me, Se is quite hard for me to grasp)

Respectfully @@INFJinxed this is the fundamental flaw of almost the entire type community, and you're not alone.
It's primarily led by artisans fostering perspectives from other artisans erroneously delivering information surrounding typology that is false.
Your response above speaks to the concrete nature of you trying to grasp intuition but using a concrete base to do so.
The use of your hero and parent function is an involuntary behaviour and is structured in our very speech. Type is not psychological, definitely not socialogical (Where we can choose to 'use more Ti or Se') - these are proclivities that are more powerful than the biases we have or choose to improve.
A simple example is having bias towards a hand. If I'm right handed, the day I become left handed is ONLY when I can no longer use my right hand or have life intense reasoning to begin using my left hand for preferred tasks that my right hand is doing a fine job of taking care of.
Using one function primarily over another is so counter-physiological that you'd suffer a level of stress that would take you to a depression and death - a primary driver for depression society-wide to this day.
You're right, you should be proud of being compared to an ESTP...because you are one! A good one no doubt, in taking the time to respond to me with such favour and respect.
Nevertheless, this science is NOT optional. You don't choose to use something over another thing without massive trauma and instability which in and of itself will cause so much dysfunction that you wouldn't be doing youtube videos nor teaching people about type...rather you'd be surviving.
Respectfully - Kate from Typematch had this same issue, believing herself to be ENTP, kayleigh had her realise she is an ESTP to which she did a public video about.
It is UNFAIR to ask you to believe my claims from a youtube post. It is close to impossible, because you're a control type and would need way too much info and context before accepting.
But seeing your sincerity, my efforts is to trigger your gut (that's intuition.) A feeling of anxiousness inside that every ESTP can relate. In your case it's 'have i missed something and where does this guy think he can call out such crazy ideas' - which I hope turns into you turning towards verifying my claims.
You'll find I'm right, as I was with Kate.
Fyi: Dave powers = estp, shannon = esfp, chase josephs = intj, frank james = isfp, love who luann = enfj, personality hacker antonia dodge - ESTP, Joel markwitt - INFJ ... to name a few. They're all wrong. And it's embarrassing as they all foster eachother's opinion and muddy the community for people wanting to learn.
None of these people know their type and I'll be happy to host a public stage and obliterate any argument proving as such. These are content creators who enjoy the subject but do not have intellectual integrity with the way they approach it, because that is neither their temperament nor goal.
My advice, sincere advice - get another opinion, reach out to Kayleigh...she's the best on any platform right now!

      ExTP here.
Basically you identified a problem (her being mistyped) and you provided a solution. The problem is your comments seem too incoherent to be taken seriously.
You put too much emphasis on your intentions and not enough on your argument.
You claimed to be respectful but you made fun of her in the first sentence of your first comment. In such situation, a private message is much more appropriate.
Assuming she is an ESTP, trying to trigger her inferior function is not an efficient way to make her understand your point. You need to be more direct and give concrete examples with timestamps.
"If I'm right handed, the day I become left handed is ONLY when I can no longer use my right hand or have life intense reasoning to begin using my left hand for preferred tasks that my right hand is doing a fine job of taking care of."
Or if epigenetics modifications happen, or if you want to mirror the body language of someone, or if you want to challenge yourself, or if you want to hide personal info about yourself. I could go on and on.
No need to have "life intense reasoning" to do something that is unnatural to you. Especially when you're a doer.
I understand your point but your example is not logical.
"My advice, sincere advice - get another opinion"
If she's an ESTP she doesn't care about opinions. You need to provide data and a hypothesis so her Ti can do an analysis and make Ni connect the dots.
