At this point we basically proved we are the universal consciousness that was experiencing itself as an individual, but have really been one consciousness this whole time. Our purpose is fulfilled and we reset the simulation.
I doubt we would think of ourselves as humans at that point.

Infinite universes in virtual reality would require infinite computation, energy, and data storage, would it not? That's unless only a finite number of virtual universes are viewable and accessible at a time. And is creating an infinite number of virtual universes a worthwhile goal to strive for when a 1 followed by tens, hundreds, or thousands of zeroes might be enough to explore, simulate, analyze, etc. for many lifetimes?
