I love your idea with your pattern with this yarn. Very go with the flow. And thank you for the pattern. I will definitely try it when I find the yarn.
Beautiful! So thrilled to see this yarn used in a different pattern than what Red Heart recommends. From the videos I’ve been watching showing how this yarn crochets up into a granny square… it looks very frustrating. You have to have a consistent tension and my tension is always all over the place (depending on my stress level). Lol! Thank you so much for this pattern. I truly appreciate you. ❤
Such a beautiful blanket. I started one today with the exact same yarn and color. I am using your pattern, thank you. It is coming out great. Thanks again!
Happy New Year to you and your family, Susan ! I've seen others try to work this yarn into a granny square with quite a struggle. This DC pattern seems to be a better fit. Very pretty colors.
Not sure what I am doing wrong. My 110 chains with a 6.5 mm hook comes out to about 40” but then by row 3 I’m at like 46” I’m using my normal tension…..I tried using a 6mm hook and that was only 36” at most. So then I tried a combination of 6mm for chain, and 6.5 for the dc’s. And still super long…..guess I have to play round with it more….. Did you start with a chain or foundation double crochets?
The chain 3 counts as a stitch, so you would crochet into the next stitch to start the row. In other words, don't crochet into the stitch just below the chain 3- crochet into the next one.

I love how it turned out! Well done, and thank you for the free pattern ❤
Thank you! This yarn is really fun.
Beautiful! Knew it could be used for something other than a Granny square.
Stunning
Thank you! 💗
Ok thank you😊

Thank you! It’s a great yarn for interesting stripes and no fuss!
Thank you so much for your pattern and your talent love the stitch
Thank you for sharing. Nice pattern, really like how the stripes center in the middle, like you said.😊😊❤
Nice alternative to those tricky granny square!
It reminds me of the Jelly Roll Race quilts. I ❤ it!
I was thinking the same thing. You just got it done before me.😊
Oh Wow.. that is a gorgeous blanket!!
Thank you!! 💗
Best one I’ve seen using that yarn, great job! 😍
I’ve been looking for other ideas for this yarn to see what else could be done with it. Beautiful blanket. ❤ Thank you!!

Had no idea this yarn would work up so pretty in just plain double crochet…prefer this look to granny squares!

Thank you! Happy New Year to you too! ✨💗
💙 Now THIS I really love!
Thank you! 💗
I really like how the stripes repeat pattern in the center of the blanket. I think the yarn will be pretty in c2c also.
Beautiful!
Love it, don't like granny squares you have to sew together. Great way to use the yarn. Thank you and Happy New Year
Love that blanket
Wow you are so creative!

Nice blanket! Was wondering if this would make a nice blanket or something. 😊

❤
I love your pattern so I stared one but for some reason it dosent look like yours did you pulled the yarn from the center?😢
Hello, yes, I always pull from the center for Red Heart yarns.
At the end of the row, chain 3 then do I turn and begin in the first stitch?
The chain 3 counts as a stitch, so you would crochet into the next stitch to start the row. In other words, don't crochet into the stitch just below the chain 3- crochet into the next one.
Could you use this yarn to crochet a huge granny square as a basis for a shrug?
Absolutely! I would make a granny rectangle, then sew or crochet the ends together lengthwise for a few inches to make the arm holes.
I’m on my second skein and mine is nothing like yours! Beautiful! I did copy the pattern and everything! It’s really nice but not like yours.
Did you use the same colours ? I am curious as I want to try and make one
