Using curves or gain and lift instead of contrast and pivot... using offset instead of temperature... using a saturation only in hsl node... you gained my respect bro, finally a beginner channel that knows what he's doing
this is seriously the best film emulation tutorial i've watched without a doubt it was so informative and I loved how you gave definitions and made so easy to understand keep it up 💯
Man, I don't think I even use any of what you said in the tutorial, but let me tell you, your edit is highly pleasing to look at, it stands out so much from other types of edits I've seen on similar videos
Most color grading tutorials are so boring that they feel like a god forsaken chore, you made it look simple and joyfull. Thank you very much. You're really talented.
For the HSV node to work properly, make sure your Timeline Color Space in your Project Settings is set correctly! (In your case it should be set to Cineon Film Log since that’s the color space you choose to work with)
for someone who is really new into cinematography, and just found out how he really likes Dehancer, this is really helpful!! I am sold will use the promo code :D!! Please do more videos about Dehancer settings :)
I truly appreciate you making this videos !! they're so educative, amazing way to explaining what is actually going on and i feel like i understand more the program, since davinci can be a little intimidating at the beginning, because of the fact that there's so many things you can do ! again , thank you so much 😊
Nice video ! The thing is that the light outside in nature , is linear and not in a curve . Adjust the end points of the curves left and right at the same amount , go to the extremes for adding and subtracting contrast (take edges inwards for adding contrast and outwards to use less, and then use the key to set the amount of contrast . Also , you have to set the mid gray point with a mid grey chart DCTL depending on the color space that you’re working at , in order for this point to never move because your mid gray point will move as well . Also another way for contrast is adding contrast and then adjusting the pivot only . .344 is DWG intermediate . Happy grading !
Could you do this also for an Aces workflow? I heard it allows for a more filmic color workflow with less adjustments needed to make colors look natural, would like to see you test that and have your opinion on that.
@@daikishinomiya would be so sick if you did like a 45 minute video that goes through all of them in detail. I still struggle and constantly get saturated reds and skin tones 😣 and there’s no where on TH-cam that explains the customisation of each one and how to tweak.

Onde encontro isso??

it's go amazing bro, i just down DS recentlty and love to learn how color my video
the hsl trick is great but imo using hsv instead achieves a more film like saturation
My man, how do you make your voice sound so clean on your videos? Thanks for such awesome content!
Thank you so much! I use the Rode Video Mic Pro+!! Super OLD mic but still works like a charm :)

quick Q, whats the shortcut where you can press to see your before and after video product, like to see before your edit and after
Hi, if your footage was shot in SLOG 3, then would the input gamma of the Color Space Transform node be set to SLOG 3? Thank you
heyo!!! what camera and lens did you use to film this? I might wanna get for my feature film im shooting next year
Ugh, do we NEED to buy the expensive dehancer plugin though?!
Hi Daiki which film emulation do you prefer? is it dehancer ? or the powergrade by tombolles?
why the nodes hassle? dehancer has already a built in WB,Contrast,EXP adjust in the program
I like to split up the nodes to allow for full control!
I didn’t quite understand that either
Are you using the z6 for your videos? Also will the dehancer work on the davinci on ipad? Thanks.
Just wondering what camera did you use for this clip ?
Is Dehancer only to apply the Vision 3 simmulation? Can I do all this without it? Thanks!!!
What camera and lens was used?
do you have tutorial film look in free version
what font for the yellow text and red drop shadow?
Are you preferring Cineprint 16 or dehancer these days? or filmvision
I jump between them :)

Lovely.
Thank you so much! Means a lot
what is your computer ?
I really like jazz but this is highly distracting
