That poor fly had the fastest Burial on record 😂😂😂
She was a successful box-office draw in British cinema for 20 years and was voted the most popular star in Britain in 1949. She was known for providing glamour and sophistication to war-torn London audiences with her lightweight musicals, comedies, and historical dramas. Almost all of her films were produced and directed by Herbert Wilcox, whom she married in 1943.
In her historical dramas, Neagle was renowned for her portrayals of British historical figures, including Nell Gwyn (Nell Gwyn, 1934), Queen Victoria (Victoria the Great, 1937 and Sixty Glorious Years, 1938), Edith Cavell (Nurse Edith Cavell, 1939), and Florence Nightingale (The Lady with a Lamp, 1951).
Dame Anna Neagle was born just down the road from the cemetery in Forest Gate .. Her first film was in 1929 uncredited .. Her first major film was in 1934 cast as Neil Gwyn.. Her memorial service was held in Westminster Abbey and a Anna Neagle Close was opened in her home town of Forest Gate The cemetery is 200 acres and has some very famous people buried there .. Two of Jack the Rippers victims .. The great footballer Bobby Moore whos ashes are buried with his parents
Yes Dame Anna Neagle was a well known British Actress. She often played Roiyal roles. such as Queen Victoria. She also had the most beautiful Britsh accent and was successful in America. The role I remember her for was Nurse Edith Cavell who was shot by the Germans in WW II. It was a very moving performance⚘️⚘️
I remember Les Sealey. The 1990 FA Cup final between Manchester United and Crystal Palace was a high-scoring match that ended in a draw. Jim Leighton was Manchester United's regular keeper but he had a bad game and was dropped for the replay to be replaced by Les Sealey. Manchester United won the replay. Some months later Sealey was playing in a big game (it might have been another cup final) and was injured. He had to be substituted but he made it VERY clear he wasn't happy about being taken off.
Dame Marjorie Florence Wilcox known as Anna Neagle , glamour in war torn London . Thanks Paul , my dad mentioned her while watching her film on tv ages ago.
Amazing to see the final resting place of Les Sealey. A Luton Town legend and as mad as a box of frogs. Fondly remembered by all us Luton fans 🧡🤍💙
As a West Ham fan he had the nickname les "the cat" Sealey, a great player and tragically gone far too soon👍
Hi Paul. Churchill paid for Elizabeth Everest's headstone and for the upkeep of the grave.
Evening Paul and everyone else😁
Dame Anna Neagle was a Ballerina. I used to copy her as a child in the 50’s if I remember rightly!
Dame Anna Neagle was at her peak being Britains top box office actress, In 1950 she starred in what reputedly became her favourite film Odette playing the part of Odette Sansom who was the Anglo - French resistance fighter. And on two separate occasions she was the subject on This Is your Life With Eamonn Andrews in 1958 and again in in 1983.
Thanks paul another great video from a humble english utuber who is brillant and kind to all is followers and the world 🌎
Thank you kindly 🙏
You swallowing that fly cracked me up,sorry paul 😅

@@UnusualThings1did it wriggle and jiggle and tickle inside you? 😂

Yeah you never know who you can find in a graveyard, maybe an odd ghost or 2! Glad the fly didn't get you in the end!! Thanks for the walk.
Thank you paul great watching
What a bonus Paul,a lovely catacomb, the graves I’ve never heard of,another great video xx
Paul, Excellent episode. The catacombs were very interesting! Thanks. Bob
Funningly enough I was watching tales of the unexpected today this wonderful actress starred in 'The Tribute' a great episode, R.I.P ANNA XXX
Loved Anna Neagle in the film ODETTE such a brilliant actress
Thank you for sharing this extra video and the death of a fly. 😂 I enjoyed it!
Love these extra videos and the catacombs gives maybe an insight into the future of memorials as I always thought grave yards take up far too much space especially in this day and age of premium expensive land ... . As if the graves were made in this way it would take up less space, especially cremations and could be moved to other locations if the land is desperately required.
Maybe controversial but what does everyone think ?
Great Video Paul . Love the Variety Of Celebrities and Famous Peoples Memorials You Are visiting 👍.
Evening Paul, I remember les sealey in his playing days. Cant believe its 23 year since his passing.
Fabulous interview with Anna Neagle and Larry Grayson on TH-cam. Currently she was a brilliant actress and a real lady, her final performance being in an episode of tales of the unexpected named The Tribute and it’s a brilliant episode.
Thank you for this one Paul love Anna Neagle films xx
Wow brilliant Paul loved the catacombs
Thanks for the added extra video. I really appreciate the effort and time you take to make these videos. I didn’t know the people mentioned but I’ve looked them up and I learnt something new today. Winston Churchill must have really loved his Nanny as he paid for her grave to be maintained and to have flowers. I wonder who is replacing her current memorial? Thanks again Paul and stay safe.
My uncle who died had his funeral service at that cemetery
Both my parents are buried here and many of my family, friends, neighbours there are many well known people buried there just as well you have your car the cemetery is far to big to walk take care.
Wow those catacombs are beautiful. Never seen anything like it in a cemetery. Lovely paul..i enjoyed this and did my homework on anna negle..may they all r i p and was so pleased you turned the lights off xxx
Dame Anna Nearly
She was a successful boy office draw in British cinema for 20 years, and was voted the most popular star in Britain in 1949.
Anna Neagle made some wonderful films. Played Queen Victoria.
RIP Les Sealey. Glad he has a lovley grave
Urgh a fly in the mouth 🪰 eww! I was so hoping one of those doors were going to suddenly open and scare you Paul.,😂
I don’t fancy being in the catacombs to be honest. And having to turn the lights off on the way out. 😳😱 No chance! 😂 I find graves fascinating, but I’m having cremation and I’m going to be planted with seeds to grow into a tree.,🌲 I love nature and I want to be home to birds, squirrels and other critters.
Really interesting video. I remember Dame Anna. Great actress. 🙂
That was a nice extra, thank you Paul.
Hi Paul and everyone .. hope you all are well this evening. 🙏🏻
I work near the City of London Cemetery and Crematorium, I believe it's one of the largest cemeteries in Europe? - You should pop over to Manor Park Cemetery, a couple of minutes away where you will find the final resting place of one of Jack the Ripper's victims, Annie Chapman, it also has a very unique 'BMW' car grave....😊
Hi Paul a nice little bonus treat. Thank you
Very interesting Paul. I remember seeing les sealey play so sad so young. Well done Paul good luck 🙏
Hello again Paul,
Just a quick message to let you know that where I live, I have a famous person buried.
It's one of my heroes of the Railway world.
The one and only George Stephenson 😊😊
And I often visit his graveside to say hello and thank him for what he's done for the railway industry.
If you ever want to go and visit the place, it's in a place called Holly Trinity Church Chesterfield Derbyshire.
The church is open a couple of days a week, but you can phone up the church and get someone to take you round the place, sometimes in the summer months (August) it's open to the public for a couple of days to have a walk round it.
Anyway hope this maybe of some help to you mate?
All the best from.
Devon Mike.
Cheers mate
Your welcome mate.

Anna Neagle Close in Forest Gate (East London) was named in her honour. She also seems to be quite well connected and has commemorative plaques everywhere, apparently...

Hi Paul From Gemma Dickinson
Pleased you visited the catacombs for us. Love graveyards but catacombs creep me out. It's not the sealed ones bother me, it's the open ones. Yes I realise they're reserved spaces for folk still dodging the reaper...but I just can't get the niggle from my mind it could also be where whomever was inside has since escaped 🤣☠
Interesting one kinda new the footballer one have heard of anna neagle have shared to fb ❤
Easy to spend day's looking around there. 2 of Jack the Ripper victims, Bobby Moore & many, many more.
Have you been to the cemetery in Plaistow?
What an astonishing place and so beautifully kept. Thanks for bringing it to us Paul.
Great video thank you
Hi Paul . Have a look at the hellfire caves near high Wycombe. Not far from you . Full of ghost story’s . murder . Sacrifices.

Hi Paul, I added Herbert Wilcox to Find A Grave many years ago. Because of your video, I will do a better bio upgrade for him and Leslie Sealey! Thank you for another great video!
Cool, 🙏 thanks
She played Florence nightingale in lady and the lamp 1951
I've seen Dame Anna and Herbert Wilcox's grave, didn't know nanny Everest is there.
Loved the catacombs! Very :Hammer horror. Do more ! Best wishes Sharon
That was a great bonus video , I didnt realise we had those sort of burial places here ( The catacombs ) thought it was more an American idea.
Itll be good to see the Elizabeth Everest memorial updated , it was a bit sad the Dame Anna Neagle grave not touched for a while.
Thanks Paul as always .
Thank you Paul for rhe extras. You're so funny, love rhe sense of humour. Those buidings are very ornate, nicer than some of our homes lol 😊❤😊
Interesting fact on Anna Neagle

Brilliant video Paul, nice little bonus for midweek, looking forward to Sundays instalment. 🙏🙏

Anna neagle famous for
historical dramas, Neagle was renowned for her portrayals of British historical figures, including Nell Gwyn (Nell Gwyn, 1934), Queen Victoria (Victoria the Great, 1937 and Sixty Glorious Years, 1938), Edith Cavell (Nurse Edith Cavell, 1939), and Florence Nightingale (The Lady with a Lamp, 1951).
Thanks Paul for the great vlog. Opening credits are good too
Used to do the fly thing a lot out mustering cattle 🤣
Hot summer days in Queensland Australia, plenty of flies and could guarantee at the most awkward moment of cutting out the animals wanted, a fly would go into my mouth. Or up my nose.
Learned pretty fast to catch, hold, snort or spit the little 🪰back out!
Yuck!
That and spider web dodging through the scrub! The huge orb weaver ones most of the time. And was imperative not to get thrown from the horse on to the meat ant nests! 😂😂😂😂
Sounds horrendous lol
Oh wow!!! This was amazing.. Winston Churchills nanny woah.. i remember her name Anna Neagle, i thinks she was an actress.. the Catacoombs... I've never seen any before, this was a fantastic bonus Paul, thank you so much xx
