Nobody can say you don't work hard for this channel Paul...your time, effort, energy and charm are appreciated more than you can know.
And he's kinda cute too, I can't help but notice! ... Hope there's no homophobes reading this?
@@marcse7en I agree. Paul is cute. He also has a very sexy voice.
@@marcse7enpeople need not take words out of context. I'm 100% female in every way, i have no problem telling another female she is beautiful or she has a nice body. It don't mean I'm hitting on her or trying to get close. Now days because there's so much hate and type casting, many are even afraid to look at another person much less speak to them.if more were honest they would admit every family has someone who is LGBTIA, I have no phobia about anyone. Own who you are, never be ashamed of who you are. I think he's cute too.😊. Please don't think I know what you like, just commenting on what you said. I agree. Life is tough enough without having others judge and criticize one for thier beliefs or how they feel.✌🕯💕🦋🌻🙂👋👣.nj.
@@neitajames6029 I think people should be true to themselves, and be proud of who they are. Sadly, for many years I wasn't proud. These days, as a gay man, I love a bit of flirty fun, and I see nothing wrong in complimenting a guy, whether he's straight or gay. Of course, not everybody sees things that way. I've experienced too much hate in my life, like you wouldn't believe. But onwards and upwards? Incidentally, are you American? I'm British.
The greatest writer 📝 in the English language. His plays and sonnets are still performed today and we often quote his work even when we don't realise it. Thanks Mr Shakespeare ❤ 😊
What a beautiful church Paul 😊
I was always told he was born and died on the same day, 23rd April, St George's day.. As a poet myself, I understand this fully, It is the ultimate poetry, making your life a complete symmetry...
I was up Stratford paul a few years back paul such a wonderful place steeped in history people from all over the world came to visit the birth place of william Shakespeare so thanks again for another great show see you in the next one
I enjoyed this one it's a good way to spend a day off watching Paul's relaxing videos
Lovely photos of William Shakespeare grave and statue and lovely church too!!
Paul, Gutted that I missed this live! I consider Shakespeare not only a legend but a national icon. I am somewhat perplexed. Whilst churches need to be closed at times, such at nightime, surely they should be open for people to worship??? Thanks for a brilliant presentation. Chers, Bob
Great filming. I was there 60 years ago this year as a student. Those days life was casual and walk round anywhere. I saw his grave etc. no tiresome officials. Stratford has been a magnet for tourists for centuries and you are one of those. Will anyone ever dare dig him up and face his challenge? None so far.
Everything was just peaceful and beautiful there. That was nice to allow pictures.
Being a Pompey man you must know the Shakespeare connection to Titchfield and the earl of southampton.
Brilliant video Paul, I was only up in Stratford upon Avon a week ago staying at a hotel for the weekend with my girlfriend, lovely beautiful place, we went to the birth place of William Shakespeare. I'm so glad you got to take pictures of his resting place, it was really good to see.
Was there last August to see his grave etc. Was a nice visit. Will be tuning in tonight as always.
Great video mate ... awesome.. Nice to see the cottage ..
Yes I remember visiting Stratford for even years ago and I was younger are interesting. Thank you for sharing that enjoyed watching you. Take care. Keep safe all the family drive carefully😊👍
Looking forward to seeing tonight show Paul 😊
Hi Paul
Just seen your William Shakespeare tour another good . Please please please keep on doing them.thanks Joyce 👍😘
What a beautiful and tranquil setting and amazing church absolutely breathtaking love the photos. Thank you so much for this very interesting video
Looking forward to this one , especially the rain we had that day bud 😮
Hi everyone looking forward to this one
I visit here at least once a year. I didn’t realise Ann Hathaway’s cottage wasn’t open in winter. Or the church. Fair do’s to the person that let you take a look inside. I don’t know what the harm would have been to allow you to film, but at least that person was kind enough to let you look inside.
I’m more of a Charles Dickens fan too. But Stratford is somewhere I have loved to visit for the past 40 years or so. It was during lockdown that I couldn’t visit. The Christmas market is something I enjoy.
There’s a little stone plaque under a tree near the church that’s dedicated to actress Vivienne Leigh. It’s often covered by weeds and not always easy to find.
I have visited “The Birthplace “ house in the past. It’s an interesting building. And there’s a connection with Charles Dickens. 😉 You probably can’t film in there either. The town has changed a lot over the years. There used to be a replica of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre near the riverfront. I’ve seen many actors walking around the town over the years. I’ve been lucky enough to see a few plays at the theatre. Judi Dench and David Tennant, two of my favourite actors were as you’d expect were amazing.
The butterfly farm is a good place to visit.
Stratford, like many towns has lost many shops over the years. Woolworths, Debenhams, BHS. The Body Shop is a more recent store marked for closure.
I’ve always fancied doing the ghost tour there.
It’s a pretty place and worth a visit.
Cheers Paul, nice to see Stratford Upon Avon on your channel.
The Most Haunted live episode was quite something a few years ago. Did you see it? 🥄 😂 It might be on TH-cam.
How sweet to let You inside to take a few pics... beautiful interior, too.
Hope You're feeling much better by now - looking forward to Your next upload!💕
Good morning! Beautiful intro and editing! Waiting too watch another great story!
Shoot! Couldn’t watch live, work🙄, but loving it now! Have cousins in Warwickshire, beautiful countryside even in the rain. Excellent video Paul! New intro is Perfect too!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you! That's the church I got married.
Many thanks Paul, the photos were good enough and did not detract
from the enjoyment at all.
Much appreciated.👍
Great video Paul. Thank you. Also I love the intro to this video it’s seductive and television like. Reminds me of TV series The Saint portraying you as a sexy investigator. Well done. The channel gets better and better over time.
Ahh great stuff paul they allowed you inside so glad for you what a beautiful church
Never seen shakespeares resting place till now
Also i never knew he was only 52 when he died always thought he was much older
Anyway take care paul till next time

Really enjoyed this one. I live 12 miles from Stratford upon Avon and have visited many times but never the church. Will definitely do it next time. Thank you.
Me & my son went to Shakespeare's Globe last time able to go anywhere before Covid-19 in Feb 2020, also passed the place that has a big plaque saying this is original Shakespeare Globe site.

Schade das man das Häuschen erst im Frühjahr wieder öffnet.
Aber verständlich.
Toll 👍🏻
Thank you. Paul
Always look forward to seeing your videos 😊
Lovely photos Paul thank you
Keep your videos coming Paul, I really like the back stories you do leading up to the 'I think I found it' moment. Without sounding morbid in any way, that would be apt on your own headstone!.
Hello Paul
How are you feeling?
I'm disappointed that you didn't get to film inside the church and Mr Shakespeare resting place those photos are nice. It's very beautiful inside and has a positive energy, it's a lovely resting place.

I am totally in awe!! Thank you for what you do. I would never have seen it if it weren’t for you. I mean, how many people get to see something like this in their lifetime?
What a stunning church and grounds. Those cottages were gorgeous. Really enjoyed the vids Paul - thank u for driving up there and filming. It looked a nasty wet day so appreciate what filming u do for the channel xx

I do like William Shakespeare and have all his know works, but like you prefer Charles Dickens. Thanks Paul
went there many years ago when i was a kid.
We have been there when Visiting Warwick Castle for Halloween, we drove to Stratford upon Avon..BEAUTIFUL part of England....
To be or not to be that is the question
Another brilliant video was always Paul 👍
Oh Brilliant The Pearl of English Literature..The Reason the World has Theatre stage and the Silver screen...Nice.....
I worked in Stratford some years ago. Went to his resting place. Great work Paul 👍🏻
Grazie Paolo per avere condiviso il video un ottimo lavoro 👍
I would love to be able to visit this place in person. Fantastic video. I really enjoyed watching it. Great photographs. It is wierd that the church is locked on a week day in the day time.
Another good 1 Paul enjoyed this 1👍
For many years, English teachers have done William Shakespeare a great disservice. Plays are meant to be performed before an audience. I doubt Shakespeare imagined that hundreds of years after his death, there would be English literature lessons where awkward and self-conscious adolescents would be reading parts aloud, hoping the embarrassment would soon be over. Any attempt at putting in some effort would result in your mates giving you a hard time. It's that sort of thing that can kill a child's enthusiasm.
That must of been a long day! - Good work mate ;-).
Cheers mate, yes a very long day 🤣🤣 we meeting up in the spring to collab
Hi paul im a shut in and i really enjoy your videos you win some and you lose some but it was a beautiful church from the outside
beautiful cottage rip william hope you are well paul hugs and love xx
I didn't realise he had a resting place being in those days. How daft I'm I! Stunning video with the views and your informative tour. 👍 You learn something new every day.
Wow, what a beautiful church & graveyard, thank you for bringing us this 1 x
Thanks for making this trip and video. Stratford looks to be a really nice place, but I am not surprised that Anne Hathaways cottage was closed. Old properties like that can be a devil to heat in the winter. Churches are mostly closed as there aren't enough volunteers to open them up and there are the usual problems with vandals etc if no-one is there. Today's society I am afraid. William Shakespeare's grave is very simple but well kept. The church looks lovely from what we could see. I am pleased that someone thought better of your request. 😀
Great video thanks poul for doing your best well appreciated top man 👨 👍 👏 poul
This is brilliant, Paul. Thank you 😊. Sorry I missed the broadcast
My husband and I visited Stratford-upon-Avon and saw the outsides of where Shakespear was born, where he retired to and the cottages of his wife and his mother. We didn't see his grave so a BIG thank you for this video Paul and for making the long journey to film it xx
Lovely video Paul loved the village and the cottage was so quaint a very pretty rainy walk about thankyou Paul ❤️😊
Another jobs worth person. I would have let you in Paul. A beautiful church from what we could see. Thank god there was a "kind person" who let you in. There are decent people out there still. The photo's were absolutely beautiful. Thank you Paul.
Another good one Paul. I agree with everyone else, you present your videos very well. I save them for a quiet moment and fully enjoy them. Thanks
Beautiful place and great filming, very peaceful 😊
Nice sharing..
Visited back in 1986 with the grandparents 💕
Fantastic Paul. Keep up the good work
Good work Paul. Watching this video enlightened me to the fact that who actually John Hoare is on my family tree of the Hoare family in Gloucestershire and that I'm related by marriage to William Shakespeare!
I was there this time last year. The church was free to enter but they charged us £5 each to visit the grave. Suppose they’ve got to fund the church upkeep somehow.
Thank you for a great video Paul xx
Thank you Paul for another fantastic video and long may they continue x
When you think of how much tax you pay to live in this skip fire of a country, the least 'they' could do is give you free access to its culture. But when there's money to be made,we are treat as nuisances
Good video and as like with your Diana video, the same conspiracy vibe aligns with watching this. Do have to bite my tongue at work whilst working in an office full of Shakespearean fans. 😅
Thanks for doing this one Paul, Shakespeare is one of my fav, I have all the Comedies the Histories and the Tragedies in book form my fav is Othello although they are all brilliant. Well done mate for the pics 🙂
Thankyou so much for this, love your content 😊
Hi Paul, I remember going to see Anne Hathaways cottage on a school trip, we didnt go to the church but viewed it from the other side of the river .
Im glad you managed to go into the church as always thought shakespeare was buried in the churchyard.
Thanks for yet another intresting video.
My 9th great uncle is Nathan Field one of the original kings men.
Brilliant video Paul , you were only a couple of minutes walk from where his house was in the high street , but as we both know the weather was against you that day. 👍🏻
I'm watching the OSCARS awards Paul 🎥🎞️🎬
That is some cottage!
Fantastic episode as always Paul. 👏👏
Beautiful xx
Them tunes 🎶 tho 👍🏻😉👊🏼 , as well as your brilliant content 👌🏻
