The Triton is a good all rounder. Good for urban and utilitarian use.
That low end torque from the turbo engine is sweet. Better than Toyota's Hilux equivalent

If you say road and wind noise i think the Hilux is a bit better, but somehow the Triton seems quieter from the engine noise insulation.

I haven't had the chance to drive the manual one. But just from automatic transmission point of view the manual should be faster(driver dependent)🤣. Unless it is dual clutch transmission tho.

As you know the Preve is no longer selling. So I only can get it by borrow from car owner or 2nd hand car dealer. Will try my best bro.

6.44 minutes : no power lacking issue going up hill at all
Wrong bro u try and go to balik pulau from the the showroom all the way to astaka relau all the up hill area and u can feel something wrong with the car..it ram louder to push the car up hill
I had test it before the very same car..it’s was not triton as whole but the test drive unit itself had the problem..this was been told by the salesman himself to me..because i had compared it with others showroom test unit
Good to know bro. As for my test drive session, I did not make such steep hill climb. So for the hill climb that I drove I did not found any issues. Perhaps they have fixed the issue or just like u said it needs to go for steep hill climb to be able to duplicate the same issue on the test drive unit itself.
Is it Sluggish?
Compare to all pickups that I had test drove, it consider OK not the best and not the worst. Overall driving experience is quite pleasing.
i drove it once, it was my first time driving a diesel car so i can't make a comparison, but from my experience it is quite sluggish for 430nm torque under normal driving. but when you floor it that's when you feel all the torque. when i floored it i literally got pushed back into the seat.
@@brandonczw same happened to me! When you floor till 2.5k rpm something then you get to experience the force pushing you to back seat hahaha
