On Indonesia model, those bumper on intro animation in the speedometer doesn't get change. So we had a facelift bumper with old bumper intro animation🥲

Got a chance to test the facelift yaris, ive noticed the yaris is much more quieter and smoother driving experience than the new city, that was on eco mode btw. Love it!

For overall refinement the Yaris is better. But specs wise the highest spec Myvi will be outspec the Yaris. If you are more to quieter, better handling and comfortable ride the Yaris is the better choice. Else the Myvi highest spec.
6:28 and 7:03 The NVH seems excellent, loud motors noise doesn't get transmitted into the cabin.
I have to agree with you. The NVH level is quite good.

@@edmerceloh I think Vios is more value. It is a sedan and the specification is better e.g leather seats, paddle shifters....
How’s the handling & throttle response between the Yaris & Vios? I’m weighing my options between these two as the vios has pedal shifters & leather seats
Not much different for daily drive. But if you go for a fun drive at twisty roads I reckon the yaris will have more fun as it is a hatchback and it is more agile in that sense. For daily use VIOS might be a better buy due to its specs and a boot space

1. Acceleration&power
2. Suspension
3. Body roll
4. Interior space
5. Seat height/viewing angle
Hi I will put my answer according to your questions sequence.
1. Although the Yaris should be faster and more powerful but real life feels there is not much different.
2. The Yaris definitely felt more solid and composed
3. The Yaris has less body roll.
4. Jazz wins hands down.
5. Jazz has a better viewing angle overall but Yaris has more sporty driving position.

hi Anthony, for this car is the CVT sound and rubber band effect annoying ?
CVT sound definitely have. But rubber band effect I would say it is on the better side.

Mr anthony which one you prefer , best feel driving comfort seat and for city driving ,myvi gen3 or jazz? Hahahaha or jazz vs yaris ?
Haha Myvi is on different league. Can't beat it's price vs specs. However Jazz and Yaris, if you don't count in specs offer Jazz could be more comfortable in city driving as it provides fun to drive factor and spacious cabin. But the tech and sound insulation is not as good. Yaris however is more recent than Jazz so tech wise is better and it drives well too.
Between Perodua Ativa and Toyota Yaris E spec, which one would you recommend boss?

In your opinion, in between Yaris E spec and City(non HB) E Spec, which one is the better value? And also, which one has the better NVH, performance, fuel efficiency, refinement and resale value? Both are similarly priced btw
While it depends on personal preference. Both are very similar but have differences in the same time. To me the City is a package that more to have spacious interior, big luggage space and more suitable for family use. For Yaris it is a HB so space is not it's selling point. But interm of handling and fun to drive factor it has the edge. As for refinement, fuel efficiency and performance both are close. Oh ya NVH I will give to the Yaris but by not much.

Sayangnya, this car doesnt come with full-suite of Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, EPB (with brake hold), rear AC vent. Otherwise, I would go for this instead of Corolla Altis. 1500 cc is good enough for me (vs 1800 in the Corolla) and I love the estate/station-wagon-like exterior.
Yes agree with you. I hope they will soon put all the safety featutes in the future since Perodua had set the benchmark. 😉

Anthony, does the BSM beep each time it detects vehicles at the blind spot?
Yes if you put your turn signal on and there is a car at your blind spot area you are going to turn.

@@shawnps4187 Yes if you didn't turn on the turn indicator the BSM only will light up when there is a vehicle.
@@AnthonyLoh Good thing then. So the indicator can be off. Or else the constant beep sound could be annoying.
What is the meaning for symbol plus and minus at the gear D?
That is the manual mode. Once you switch to it you can up shift or down shift the gears by yourself.

@@aemirru7739 Usually when you drive a automatic transmission car, you don't do the gear shift right? The manual mode is to allow you to do the gear shift my pushing the gear stick up or down to shift the gear from 1 to 6 gear(depends on how many gears the car has) sequentially or vice versa.

If you need more spacious feels for interior Jazz still the one to go. Other than that Yaris win hands down. But to be fair we need to compare to the new Jazz instead.

Blink if you didn't not engage the turn signal. If you put the turn signal it will engage both sound and blink

Vios compared to the new City... which one would you go for?
Can I choose the Almera? 🤣. To me both have its hit and miss. So it is all about personal preference. If I really need to choose between them I will go for the City. It is just because there are more points that I like than the Vios. Others might have opposite decision.
Test driven both the facelifted vios as well as the new city. Here's my personal experience and opinion.
Exterior - both looks equally good to me
Interior - City
Space - City
Safety - Vios (TSS, not full package + DVR)
NVH - Vios
Spare tyre - Vios (full size given)
Rear aircon vent - City
Power - I believe City is better, but im not a person who drives fast.
I have chosen Vios at last, as the Vios E is sufficient for my daily use. :)
