- The new MacBook Pro 16-inch is here and Apple has addressed many customer concerns. The 2019 Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch features a new keyboard moving away from butterfly switches (MacBook Pro 15, MacBook Pro 13, MacBook Air) back to a traditional scissor switch keyboard. This is my 2019 MacBook Pro 16-inch unboxing.

Apples MacBooks range from 899.99 to 3k. It depends. Some are even cheaper than 899 on Ebay used and new, and as late as 2018 ones.

Props, this is the most entertaining unboxing I’ve seen. Informative too.
You know what, props to you Lew!!! I was one of those users that would refuse to watch your vids because you would diss Apple for clicks. But now you're actually giving decent feedback and giving Apple the props they deserve for their insanely awesome products. Please keep that up because the tech community could use another voice of reason in this sometimes toxic space.
I might actually subscribe. (Also I can't wait till I save enough for this Mac. I'd be upgrading from a 2012 13".)

I gotta say the 16” has a really satisfying keyboard. It’s not 100% like a traditional scissor switch. It’s like if the butterfly and the scissor switch had a baby and I’m really digging it (and that’s from a guy that loved the butterfly switches and the iPad folio keyboard)

As an owner of the new 16 inch MacBook (have been using it for a month now) I can confirm - keyboard performs better as butterfly but is really loud and tbh feels quite a bit cheaper (Dell like) in comparison with older MacBook Pro's (Mid 2015) scissor-type keyboard.
If you use them in person, you would know he is right!

The Ponies Among Us tbh they got that mentality from Steve Jobs, pushing the Engineers to make it happen by any means necessary.
I love the advancements on these newer MBPs. No doubt, it's a gorgeous, powerful, state-of-the-art machine. However, my Mid-2012 MBP with my 2 SSDs (I removed the CD/DVD drive and put in a HDD Caddy to allow a second internal SSD, so I have a total of 768GB internal memory between my two Samsung 850 PRO SSDs), along with my 16GB upgraded RAM, and the computer's overall rock-solid reliability, makes it difficult to want to spend 3000+ USD (I say that much because AppleCare and accessories are a thing, plus the upgrades on the Graphics card that I would spring for) on a new MacBook when my beefed-up Mid-2012 MBP is still basically wonderful and capable. However, my battery does need to be replaced (not expensive or difficult, I've just opened this thing up so many times and I don't want to anymore lol), and looking at this 800p Non-Retina display does get old. So the temptation is definitely there. It would definitely suck not having a light-up Apple logo on the lid of the machine, but every time I see the screen on one of these new bad boys, I swoon. Thoughts?

Very strong fan of the keyboard feel, sound, and pressure on the Lenovo T560. I agree, that the ThinkPad series got the Keyboard built VERY well!
Also, a fan of the new Macbook 16 keyboard, not a fan of the old butterfly one.
